Chapter 3
A few weeks had passed. Isuzu, Hina, Sakura, Kiba (and Akamaru of course), and TenTen had become the best of friends. Shikamaru, Chouji, and Shino were okay with Isuzu and will willingly hang out with her and her friends. Naruto and Sasuke are even fine with her! Pretty much the only person in class that doesn't like Isuzu was Ino (you: WHY!?! me: Because I don't like her and she's a b***h stare But that's just my opinion...) She started bringing Kaguya to class as well. Her and Akamaru get along very well and play with each other during recess/lunch. They're almost inseperable. Then one day Isuzu recieved a letter from the Hokage.
"Hm..." Isuzu purred, Kaguya in her lap and Blackfire pacing the room.
"'Hm'? What's 'Hm'?" she asked, head snapping in her direction, eyes taking in her every move while Kaguya just kept on with her nap.
"Just got a summoning from the Hokage."
"How is that 'Hm'?"
"He could've just told me personally! I mean, we live in the same building! xp "
"Guess he just wanted to be professional about it. Must be important."
"Yep. It is."
"So... What's it say?"
"There will be a meeting of all the jounin. They are allowed to bring their teams if desired. The Hokage wants to let them see my potential in case he decides to put me on a team. HA! There's a laugh!"
"How so?"
"You know he wouldn't want to anger anyone in the village. Almost everyone here believes I'm a bloodthirsty monster. They don't trust me even if the Hokage does. Well, I guess there is an upside, too."
"*sigh* Just like you. Always finding the good in a situation no matter how bad. So what is it this time?"
"Well, no one has ever seen me fight before. All they have is my profile explaining my anatomy, abilities, et cetera. Now they can see me in action."
"My my, the elite ninja are in for quite a show. You've always looked like you're dancing when you fight. You're just so graceful."
"*blush* You flatter."
"Ever wondered why I had you train to music?" wink
"So that each movement is fluid, flowing effortlessly from one to another without any awkward choppiness!" 4laugh
stare "No. Because I always thought it'd be cool to see someone fight to music. Turns out I was right biggrin Like I said before, you look like you're dancing when you fight. And even better yet, this way you can do all the fighting and I don't have to lift a claw xp "
"You sneaky snake! Pardon the pun sweatdrop "
"You're pardoned."
"Well, now that I think about it, fighting is like dancing."
"How so?"
"You know you're good if you can make your movements flow from one to another with perfect precision and, if you're really good you can leave any spectators begging for an encore whee "
"*sigh*Sometimes you boggle me, the things you come up with."
"Yeah. I know. Well, how 'bout a few rounds of DDR for a warm-up before sparring?"
"You mean training session."
"No. I mean sparring match. The way I see it, there's no use in calling it a training session since you haven't beaten me in about 2 years."
Blackfire was silent at his comment. She just stared at Isuzu, blinking every once in a while for a full 15 seconds.
confused "Oh... I see," you concluded. "You just call it a training session so it sounds like you have a chance of winning mrgreen "
stressed "... Just get your butt outside so I can beat some sense into you."
"Bring it!"
With that the both of them gave each other a sly glance then all three raced down the hall into the Hokage's back garden to spar.
~*Elsewhere*~
"Gather round my blossoming pupils! I have important news."
The man in the green jumpsuit was standing in a clearing with straw dummies hanging from the trees, targets painted on their vital points. Out of the foliage sprang three 13 year old kids, sweaty and exhausted from the intense training.
"I have exciting news!" he thundered again.
"What is it, Gai-sensei?" a black-eyed boy dressed just like him asked wonderingly.
"We are to go to the Hokage's residence tonight to observe the rogue shinobi."
A brown-eyed/haired girl in a pink shirt and green pants cocked her head and a boy with long brown hair and eyes like Hinata's said, "Didn't you already gather information on her through Ninkame?"
"Yes. Indeed I did. But at this assembly she will be demonstrating her fighting style. We will be able to see her in action and evaluate her technique."
The black-haired/eyed boy piped up,"Great idea, Gai-sensei! I would like to meet her."
"Hm... I would like to see how you two get along as well, Lee. See how you react to your personalit's spitting image." "And besides, Kakashi will be there."
"Gai-sensei," the girl said, "if all the jounin are invited then that means your rival will be there ,too."
"Sometimes I swear they can read my mind..." "Yes, TenTen. That does mean Kakashi will be there."
"Are you sure that's a good idea? You two in the same room." the brown-haired boy said.
"Come come now Neji! It sounds as it you believe I have no self-control."
Neji just took a deep sigh and shrugged his shoulders while TenTen fiddled with her shuriken, balancing them on the tips of her fingers and spinning them (kinda like what some people do with basketballs blaugh ).
"Well then. I guess that settles it," Gai boomed triumphantly. "We're all going to the meeting tonight!"
Rock Lee gave a happy shout of pure joy and started jumping around celebrating while Neji stared at him, giving him dirty looks. TenTen just sat back, watching the scene and gave a sweet smile at their antics. "The one good thing about being on this team; there's never a dull moment." she thought which just made her smile even more.
~*Later that evening around 7 o'clock*~
Isuzu was leaning against the wall on one side of a circular room with a beam of light in the center, the surroundings in shadow and, if you were standing in the spotlight you couldn't see anything in the shadows; just their shape. Blackfire was sitting on her haunches beside her and Kaguya was lying across her feet. A door was opening beside Isuzu and she quickly shifted to the right. The Hokage came in closely followed by his advisors/bodyguards (call them whatever you want). He looked to the right and saw her there.
"Ah... I see you came a bit early."
"Better early than late," Isuzu retorted, grinning and blushing a bit.
"Well, we won't have to wait much longer. I saw some of the jounin and their teams heading this way."
She smiled at this, relieved that the meeting would start soon. The sooner it started the sooner she could get it over with.
"We'd better get to the center of the room. Be ready for your guests," the Hokage stated.
"Okay..." she answered dryly. So Isuzu, Blackfire, Kaguya, the Hokage and his advisors all moved to the center of the beam of light (keep in mind the beam of light is quite big for this is where you will demonstrate your abilities so you need a large space). As you all took your positions Blackfire laid down on Isuzu's left, her head 3 feet above everyone else's and Kaguya took a watchdog stance at her feet and meowed in content.
After a few minutes two jounin walked in, one with a team and the other without. The one without had an odd shape to his hair. It was shifted off to the side but other than that she couldn't see any other distinguishing features. The jounin with his team looked oddly familiar in body shape and so did one of his genin. "Looks like the guy in the jumpsuit and his mini-me. Hee... Talk about chance meetings."
The two jounin were still standing ther looking at each other. Everyone could feel the tension between them "I guess these two aren't very fond of each other" After a few moments of awkward silence they both quipped and bowed in unison, "Good evening Lord Hokage." They stared at each other again. One of the shapes started giggling rather femininely which gave her away as TenTen while one shape (Neji) gave her a dirty look and shushed her. She shrank back a bit them moved her head forward slightly like she was sticking her tongue out. After, she gave Isuzu a small wave and a whispered "Hey Isuzu!" So she waved and whispered back "Hey TenTen!" Everyone looked at the two of them. You both just shrugged and said "Hey, she's a friend. What'd you expect me to do?" The Hokage averted his gaze back to the two jounin.
"I see you two haven't changed a bit," he stated, trying to keep a smile off his face. "Take a place along the wall. The others will follow shortly."
With that, they all followed along the wall to some empty spaces on the opposite side of the room. Just a few seconds after all the other jounin and their teams had flooded through the door and found places to stand. The Hokage then looked around and cleared his throat. "Ahem... I believe this is everyone. We shall begin. First off, I believe you have all heard of or read our rogue's profile but not many have met her parental figure and teacher, Blackfire. Blackfire? Would you mind rising so everyone can see you?
At this Blackfire closed her eyes and slowly stood up. There she stood, towering over the crowd at 18 feet tall (I'll bet you're wondering why she's always changing her height. she can shrink. her true height is about 40 feet and her smallest is 1 foot). The room was dead silent until the Hokage broke it. "*cough* Well, are there any questions for Blackfire or Isuzu?" No one said anything for a long time. Then someone piped up:
"I understand how Blackfire can be her teacher but how is she your parental figure?"
"Because I've raised her since she was 1 month old," Blackfire retorted.
There was a buzz of loud whispering that went around the room. This dragon raised her? Then she MUST be a monster!
You overheard some of the conversations in the crowd and tried to calm them.
"Wait! How can you judge her? You don't know her or what she's done."
Someone stepped forward a bit. "I believe I speak for everyone when I say how could YOU know? She's the daughter of an incarnation of Satan which means she's evil. For all we know she could turn around right now and kill us all!"
Isuzu's shoulders tensed up, hands clenched into fists so tight her nails had punctured the skin slightly and tears had started to well up at the corner of her eyes. She was so frustrated with people judging you two just because you both had tainted blood coursing through your veins. What did that matter? Isuzu relaxed her body as she prepared herself to reply without launching herself at his throat.
"*sigh* Fine. Believe what you want. I highly doubt my words will change your mind but please hear me out. Yes, it's true that she's the daughter of Hell's Dragon. But, 11 years ago when traveling to Avalon we were attacked and I was greatly wounded with a direct blow to my chest and unrepairable damage to my heart. She was dying and so was I. There was one thing she wanted more than anything; to die. To end everything. To rid herself of the pain, the guilt, the regret, the fear. But instead," as you said these words your hand moved the top of your shirt down to right above your chest and your nails sliced the skin, exposing your heart, "she gave me half of her heart to save my sorry hide and in turn throw away her chance of dying a mortal death. She gave up the one thing she wanted most to save my life even when she knew that if I were to have died my soul just would've been reincarnated again. For this, I owe her so much. She's saved my life twice and I'm going to repay her for this. Unfortunately, no matter how I plan to do so, nothing can ever come close to repaying what she did for me. I can only hope that it covers even the smallest fraction of my debt."
So there you stood holding open a large gash in your chest revealing the black five chambered heart, the central chamber eerily still (there are four chambers enclosing a fifth, smaller one in the middle. This chamber is only activated when ther is adrenaline in the bloodstream) As if to confirm Isuzu's little speech Blackfire, a small tear running down her cheekbone, lifted the scales above her heart, slit the thin membrane and exposed her heart as well.
"It's all true..." she said, her head held proudly.
With the two hearts beating as if they were still whole, their sound echoed throughout the room filling every nook and cranny and shaking everyone in the room to their very souls.

Chapter 4!!! xd
There was an audible gasp and long silence that followed as Isuzu stood there, gaze unwavering. The air was thick with tension, almost suffocating. Finally the Hokage spoke up, his face red from stress.
"Alright. I guess that'll answer one of most everyone's questions... Anyone else have something to ask?"
Another jounin took a step forward. "What about the world she came from?"
"What do you want to know?" Isuzu answered, hand covering her wound, her shoulders relaxed again.
"What was your life like in your old world?"
A smile spread across the girl's face but her eyes held a sad glint. "Just a sec. I have a few friends that can help with this." She started to take off your jacket. Blackfire noticed and spazzed.
"Isuzu!" her front claws tightly clamping the hand that was slipping off the jacket sleeve, her sharp muzzle in her ear, "What the hell are you doing?!" she whispered harshly.
"Mom, they're going to see them sooner or later. Might as well be sooner." She whisper back.
Blackfire gave her a concerned look but let her proceed. Isuzu finished taking off the jean jacket to reveal a green lily-print tank top and a pair of silver feathered wings. She let all this sink into her audience and then let the jacket fall to the floor. As soon as it hit the cold tile your black wolf tail materialized and Kaguya went to drag the jacket off to play with it. A smirk spread across Isuzu's face as she sensed the crowd hold their breath for not only were her extra limbs exposed but so were her muscular arms.
Content with her impression Isuzu moved on to her original task. Wings spread out, arms hanging at her side and palms open, the air became littered with small lights, almost like fireflies. They started moving in small circles and closing in, circling around her. Suddenly they all started popping. Replacing the lights were tiny fairy-like slightly transparent creatures. Soon they were swarming around her, nesting in her hair and chasing Kaguya out from under the jacket and around her feet.
"What the hell?!" someone yelled. Everyone else in the crowd turned around, "SHH!"
Isuzu finally opened her eyes to find one of the fairies sitting on the end of her nose staring at her. "Hee hee, Well hello to you, too!" The fairy became overjoyed at Isuzu's comment and tumbled off her nose only to hover in midair.
"Excuse my interruption," the Hokage said, "but what the heck are those things?"
"They're sylphs!"
confused ...
*giggles at his ingnorance* "They're air elements but they're mostly used for assistance in an alchemic transmutation. Or in other words, alchemy."
"Alchemy?"
"Yes. I believe it's called rakinjutsu here."
Another panicked rustle rose up in the crowd. She uses kinjutsu?!! Now there's no way she ISN'T evil! Again, she tried to explain herself.
"Just a second! *sigh* I don't understand why you're always jumping to conclusions. Do you mind giving me a chance to maybe explain first before you start bouncing off the walls? Either way, here alchemy is called rakinjutsu but back home it's an extinct science..."
"Extinct?" someone interrupted. Everyone snapped their heads in the guy's direction and gave'em a 'Shut the Hell up' look.
*sigh* "Going on... It died out in the 17th century but was responsible for the discovery of pharmaceuticals (< believe it or not but that is spelled right) and chemistry. Therefore, without alchemy the modern medicines we use today would never have been discovered or not until later on. As for the name, there are two sides to alchemy; a lighter side that can reconstruct and combine things into something better or more useful. The darker side has more benefits; more things that people want. For example, eternal life, bringing back a deceased being, fusing living things together to create personal minions, or creating false humans. Since this side has much better rewards there are higher consequences. As an equivalent exchange for one of these things you may loose a limb, have to sacrifice a life or even your own. All that is sacrificed on the lighter side is they materials used in the transmutation. That leads me back to the name. The first part Ra, referring to the Egyptian sun god represents life and creating something new and kin, as you may have already figured out, is the darker side. Want me to explain anything else?
"No. That's quite alright..." the Hokage said, rubbing his temples. "Well, I guess you could tell us what kind of alchemy, err... Rakinjutsu you use."
"Uh... I'm a bit of a special case whee '"
"Oh?"
"Yeah. I don't have to use a transmutation circle to preform alchemy. I don't have to clap either."
"And why's that?"
"Since I'm the reincarnation of the guardian of the very source of alchemy I can just will it to be so and PooF! It is so. But I do use some energy in the transmutation. You see, all alchemic energy originates and flows through the Gate of Alchemy. This is also the place that souls go to be judged so the Gate is also Limbo. Understand?"
"Just leave it at that. I'm sure I'm not the only one with a headache right now."
"Well, either way. Back to the original question. I believe these memories will explain it rather well."
"Memories?"
"Yes. You see, these sylphs like flitting around me 24/7 and they store memories of everything that's happened to me."
*groan* "Alright. Whatever you say.."
With that the sylphs joined hands creating a large circle and moved upwards toward the ceiling. There they started spinning faster and faster until an image was created in the center. "Enjoy the show..." Isuzu say quietly to herself as she lie down on the floor, hands behind her head.
"Oh! May I ask you something first?" the voice that kept interrupting asked.
"Shoot..."
"What's with the dog collar?"
Her hand snaked up to her neck and started fingering the dragon-rimmed pentacle attached to it. *shrugs* "I like to wear it. It's comfy."
"And the things on it? Do they have any significance?"
"Yeah," she reply sadly. "It's something my friends gave me..."
"Both of those trinkets?"
"Yes..." she then moved her fingers to the plastic flower.
"What kind of flower is it?"
"... A forget-me-not..."
"So why do you wear it again? I mean, there has to be a better reason then it's comfy."
"I wear it for the same reason a dog wears a collar. It shows my where my loyalities lie. I am loyal to my friends and the people I trust and only them."
"If there's one thing I've noticed about Isuzu," Blackfire interjected, "it's that it takes alot to gain her trust but once it is gained, it's unbreakable."
"What should we show?" a light airy voiced asked.
"Anything your hearts desire..."
[Memories Begin] #!Warning!# Real names (except mine) will be used and some real events as well although they will be edited slightly to fit the character. Not every memory will be shown either. These are only a few!#
It's the first day of school. Isuzu's going through all your classes and doing the same thing in every one of them; telling what you did that summer and filling out sheets about what you like and dislike and other such nonsense in the teachers' vain attempt to get to know their students.
It's study hall and she has none of her friends there with her. Well, unless you count Jessica who's a friendly aquaintance or Cole who she's had a minor crush on. Suddenly Jessica comes up to Isuzu and says, "Hey! I'd like you to meet someone. She likes anime, too." Isuzu move back a few seats to see a girl with wavy blonde hair and blue eyes wearing ripped jeans, a black tank top and eyeliner putting the final touches on an anime style drawing of a neko.
"Hey! Ash!" Jessica says. "This is Isuzu. She likes anime like you. Have fun!" She then left Isuzu alone with the girl. You stare at each other for a while then you both say, "I know you. You're in my science class." *blink* "HoLy CRaP!" you both start laughing and then Ashley puts her hand on Isuzu's shoulder. "I think we'll get along. Wanna come over?"
"Sorry. Can't. Gotta train after school."
"Tomorrow?"
"Sure!"
When school was over you both walked home together and properly introduced one another where you found out that you two were pretty much personality twins. (this is my bi friend and we love her)
It's second semester and Isuzu's in study hall again except she's been reaquainted with an old friend. Isuzu and Chris were in the same 4th grade class and you haven't talked or even been on each other's radar since then. It's about now that she remembered having a slight crush on him back then. At present, you're both just talking about anything that comes to mind. Isuzu's telling him about the time she were over a Shannon's house. She, Shannon, and her younger sister were playing in the mud when Isuzu sank in. The mud was all the way up to her thigh and a baby crayfish had attached itself to her leg.
"Well, I guess it could've been worse. I mean, it could've been a leech." Isuzu conclude.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Chris agrees.
"Yeah. Especially if it were a brain sucking leech! Heh... Actually, that'd be kinda funny..."
confused
"Oh come on. You know you'd wanna see a leech eat your friend's brain."
"You're really sadistic."
"What are you talkin' about? I came to see the leech! Screw my friend! *giggles*
stare ...
Just then the announcements came on signaling the end of the school day.
Isuzu's at Ashley's house and she just got Kaguya on her recent visit to Avalon. Isuzu was chasing the werecat around the backyard when Ashley yells, "Stop chasing your p***y!"
She stop where she are, a blank look on her face. Ashley also stops and looks at he concerned. "Isuzu? You okay?"
"... STOP TURNING MY INNOCENT FUN INTO YOUR PORN!!!" she turn around and chased Ashley into the house and glomped her. They both fell to the floor laughing so hard they have to stop and caught their breath.
It's the first full moon since Isuzu's had Kaguya. She and Blackfire are watching TV, some catsbane (like wolfsbane but for werecats) simmering on the stove and Kaguya resting in her room. Suddenly you both hear a loud screech from Isuzu's room. She sprinted the short distant to her room and looked inside. When she opened the door the screeching is drastically intensified and there's also the sound of popping and cracking. Kaguya is on the floor but she's not a cat anymore. She's now a 12 year old looking girl with short black hair and finer hairs covering her entire body. She looked up at her master from a fetal position. Her red eyes were filled with pain but mostly fear. Isuzu looked to her windows. One's curtains were left open and the moonlight shone through.
"s**t..."
"The HELL!" Blackfire was standing behind her. "I warned you about that damn cat."
"Just go get the catsbane!"
Blackfire hesitated.
"NOW would be good!"
She slinks off muttering curses at her and Kaguya under her breath. Isuzu went straight to Kaguya and hugged her. She hugged her back. Isuzu's shoulders are instantly soaked with her tears. Her legs are still transforming. Suddenly the bones and joints in her left leg start snapping, grinding and popping together to morph then into that of a human's. The cat raked her unusually sharp claws across Isuzu's back creating huge gashes.
"I know baby. I know it hurts..." Isuzu purr in her ear, trying to soothe her.
Blackfire finally came back empty handed.
"You disappointed that I left it on the range?"
"No. It's a bit late for that anyway."
She sat there still hugging Kaguya, back dripping black blood, until her right leg fully transformed into a human's and she fell asleep from exhaustion.
Isuzu's at summer camp. It's the last night when Blackfire found her with her camp friends Starr, Becca, Samantha, and Amy.
"Blackfire!" she ran up and hugged her. She's looking very frantic and Isuzu immediately sensed something wrong.
"Bloodfang's headed toward Crookston..."
Her face flushed whiter and her eyes lost all emotion.
She turn to her friends and just look at them. They looked back with an understanding gaze. "We'll tell the counselors a "family emergency" came up..."
*sigh* "Thanks guys. Thank you so much. I owe ya."
You all engaged in a group hug. They run off toward the dinning hall and Isuzu turned back to Blackfire.
"How far away is he?"
"'Bout 6 minutes."
"Then I have 6 minutes to run 250 miles."
"What do you mean? You don't have to run! You'll be too tired to fight!"
"Yeah. But if I do get there with energy to fight, I'll tear him to pieces in 2 seconds flat."
*sigh* "I'll go get your luggage..."
With that Isuzu transformed very fluidly into her wolf form and took off into the forest. A few seconds late Blackfire's wingbeats could be heard overhead. Horrible images of Bloodfang killing her friends flash through her mind as she's bounding as fast as she can northwestward.
*pant pant* "I'm not gonna get there in time..."
Isuzu shook herself which nearly sent her through a tree.
"No! I'm gonna get there no matter what! I have to! My friends have always been there for me and now it's my turn. I lost my family once. I won't let it happen again."
With that her adrenaline kicked in, the fifth chamber started beating with the rest of them and her eyes became pitch black with slitted red pupils.
She got to the outskirts of town just as Bloodfang did. Isuzu hurtled into him, sending him sprawling. He quickly looked around to see an angry black mass of fur bearing down on him, teeth bared and fur standing on end. His eyes dialated. There stood the thing he'd killed years ago only this time she's pissed off and far more powerful. He squirmed in a vain attempt to break free. Isuzu bent her muzzle down, dripping fangs almost on his throat.
"If I ever find so much as your scent anywhere near my friends, I'll take you apart."
She promptly let him go. His eyes still filled with fear he slowly backed away and disappeared into the shadows.
It was the last day of school. Isuzu had finished her finals just an hour ago and was standing in the corner you always stand in to wait for Bailey and Chris's bus to come before she headed home. Bailey had attached herself to Isuzu and wouldn't let go.
"I'm gonna miss you Onee-chan. I don't wanna go to Florida for the summer! It's not gonna be any fun without you..."
"I know. I'm gonna miss you, too." she said, hugging her back and stroking her long brown hair. "But remember. You can always email me."
"I know. Aww... I'll miss yelling at Taco, too!"
"Hee hee. You can yell at him with an email, too."
Bus 8 came and Bailey buried her head in Isuzu's chest. "Noooo! I don't wanna go..."
"Yeah, I know. But you have to. You dad'll miss you if you don't get on the bus."
"I could move in with you!"
"You're dad'd still miss you."
Bailey wasn't gonna let go anytime soon so Isuzu walked her over to the bus with Bailey still attached to her upper region.
[Memories End]
The sylphs suddenly stopped spinning, bowed, and then disappeared into thin air. Isuzu sat up, eyes watery and a blank look on her face. The Hokage noticed this was late on his call.
"So what every happened to your friends?" asked the annoying jounin.
"Bailey's more open with people. Arianna's not so conceited. Shannon's settled down a bit and she's not so rough with people. Heather's not so flighty. Chris and Megan are an adorable couple. The only people that didn't change were Ashley, Adam, and Philip.... Ya know, they all knew that I was leaving and that they would have their memories erased. But they still didn't tell me when they knew I could stop it from ever happening. But they didn't..." by now there's a small trickle of tears going down her cheek. Isuzu finally noticed and quickly wiped them away; she blushed furiously, her whole face turning red as she wondered who saw.
"Well, I believe that's enough for tonight. The meeting's over. You can loiter her for as long as you like as long as you're out of here by 10."
Everyone came out from the shadows and started talking amongst themselves. Isuzu looked around for the first two jounin that had come in. She saw the one with the odd shaped hair. His hair was grayish/silver and he wore a mask and his headband was covering his left eye. "This must be the famous Kakashi." She then saw TenTen with her team. She was turning her head toward Isuzu so she quickly slipped into the shadows. TenTen saw where Isuzu had disappeared and kept her eyes on that spot. Isuzu slipped around to her right side and waited for the crowd to thin. When she found an opening she dug her claws deep in the wall, put both feet up against the wall so she was in a horizonatal (that's this way: - ) crouching position then launched herself straight at TenTen. Just as Isuzu collided with her she squealed "TENTEN!!!" Isuzu glomped her and TenTen managed to maintain her balance.
"YaY! Suz! I haven't see you in a week!" she squealed back.
I know. I missed you! *huggles TenTen*
"Really... I had no clue." *sentence drips with sarcasm*
You let go of each other. Isuzu's knees suddenly gave out and she started to fall but was caught by something. She look down to see Ninkame looking up at her, who had ran into her on purpose.
*waves frantically* "Hey Ninkame! Long time no see."
"Unfortunately I can't say the same, " he replied (I don't know whether Ninkame's a he or a she but it sounds rather masculine) "I've been watching your sparring sessions with the ANBU."
*glares at Blackfire* "And you thought I was crazy..."
Blackfire:*shakes her head and takes a swipe at Isuzu*
You: *dodges*
There is a sudden blur of yellow and something attaches itself to Isuzu. She look down to see Konohamaru. "Hey! Haven't seen you in awhile little guy! *gives him a noogie* Working hard on your studies?"
*squirms until he gets free from the noogie of doom* "Yup!"
The Hokage came up to Isuzu closely followed by Kakashi. "Do you mind if I borrow you for a bit, Isuzu?"
"Sure."
"And you too, Gai?"
"Of course!" Gai replied. (ha. that kinda rhymes...)
Isuzu and Gai followed the Hokage and Kakashi. Once outside the room the Hokage turned to you three but Kakashi jumped the gun.
"I thought we were going to see this girl's fighting style?"
"You will," the Hokage reassured. "but I have an idea of how to do it."
"And that would be?" Gai asked.
"You and Kakashi would have to work together though."
Gai and Kakashi just look at each other then turn back to the Hokage. "Alright..." they said in unison.
"I'd like to put my best jounin against our rogue but, like I said, you two'd have to work together."
They look at each other again and say, "Sure. Why not!" (wow... they say a lot of things in unison...)

And Chapter 5!!! Now everyone's all up to speed and chapter 6 will be after a while 3nodding
And so it was decided that Isuzu was going to go up against a GaiKashi tag team with all the other jounin watching the fight. The four of you went back into the meeting room and informed the jounin of the event. Roughly 5 minutes before 10 o' clock the room was cleared of all people except Kakashi, Gai, TenTen, Rock Lee, Neji, Kurenai, and Anko.
"Well," the Hokage said, "I guess that's every-"
Just then the rest of the Hyuga family walked in (Hinata and Hanabi included) plus Jiraiya, Tsunade, Iruka, and Sakura.
"Excuse my mistake. NOW I believe that's everybody." The Hokage slowly moved over to Gai and put his hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry but Lee's going to have to leave. This is only for those who know Isuzu personally."
Gai nodded solemnly while Lee obtained sad puppy-dog eyes. Gai looked at Lee and put his hand on his shoulder knowing how disappointed he must be. "I'm sorry Lee but whatever the Hokage says goes..."
Lee moved his eyes to a spot on the floor. "Yes Gai-sensei. I understand..." He started walking to the door. TenTen, standing by Isuzu's side with a very sympathetic look, quickly and quietly walked over to Lee as everyone else was turning away. She caught him just as his hand grasped the doorknob. "Lee!" she whispered, "Here. Take this and don't open your hand until you get back to Gai-sensei's apartment." As she said this she took Lee's hand and forced a small warm substance into his palm. Lee looked up at her with a confused look but then smiled and gave her a left-handed thumbs up. "Thank you TenTen!" and he was off like a shot to the residential quarters of Konoha. TenTen sprinted back to Isuzu's side.
TenTen: *waves* ^^
Isuzu: 0_o...
T: ^-^v
I: o_0 *shrugs* ^^ *puts arm around T's shoulders*
T: biggrin *does the same*
And with that, both Isuzu and TenTen walked back to the waiting crowd.
"So what's this all about?" Isuzu asked.
"I figured your close friends would want to know a little more about your past. The truth, I mean." Blackfire replied, resting her head on your's.
"Mrow!" Kaguya purred, looking up at you from your feet with her big red lantern-like eyes. Without warning she started to climb up Isuzu's leg.

Isuzu reach down and picked her up, cradling the cat in her arms. Kaguya easily got back on her paws and started circling Isuzu's neck over and over before she finally curled up in her still cradled arms and fell asleep, tail curled around her and resting on her nose. Isuzu smiled at how kittenish her behavior still is and lightly kissed the tips of her ears.
"So what's the story behind the cat?" Kakashi questioned.
"Well for one, she's a werecat and two, I ran across her when we were walking through Avalon."
"And how'd you find her?" Gai asked.
"Well I was walking on the forest floor while Blackfire was circling above when I started to get this kinda pulling sensation at the back of my mind, almost like I was missing something important. I started getting closer to a really ancient looking tree when I started hearing a faint voice at the back of my head. Help... Someone... Anyone... it kept saying. Once to the tree I found a small space underneath a raised root. I put my hand on the ground at the entrance and moved my fingers back and forth, trying to lure whatever it was out. Instead of getting the thing out, the root moved upward to let me see under it. There lay a mother werecat and her four kits. Her eyes opened just a little to look at me then I heard the voice again. Please... Take care of them... The runt... looks just like... *gasp* ... like her... father... She died..."
"By then I'd landed," Blackfire interjected. "I tried explaining that taking care of even one of the little monsters would take time and patients that we didn't have. Or at least time and patients I didn't have..."
"But as you can tell, I didn't listen. The only one that was alive was the runt so I took her and TaDa! *blows on Kaguya's ears* Here she is! We then buried her mother and three siblings."
"Techincally you buried them. I wanted nothing to do with the damn cat. Still don't..."
rolleyes "She's a funny little kitty though. In the winter she has long fur but in the summer she sheds it all off so she has short fur 4laugh "
"She wouldn't happen to have a Sharingan, would she?" Kakashi asked.
"Of course not! That'd just be weird... But she is a very good ventriloquist! And she's become very good at transforming into her human form. She can even do it without the help of the full moon."
With that, Kaguya's eyes shot open and she jumped into the air then landed on her two human feet. There stood the same 4-foot tall black hair covered girl they'd seen in so much pain just a while ago. Kaguya then curled up on the floor in a ball and started to fall asleep. Isuzu got down and sat cross-legged next to her and stroked her hand across her back. Kaguya then crawled up onto Isuzu's lap and laid her head on her chest
I:Oof! She's getting a little too big to be doing this but she's too stubborn to admit it *runs fingers through Kaguya's hair causing her to transform back into a cat* And I'm too much of a softy to push her off. *yawns, eyes droop*
"You'd better get some sleep," Blackfire said, nudging Isuzu and Kaguya toward the door. "I'll take it from here."
*yawn* "Alright. Night everybody!" *waves*
Everybody: *waves back* "Good night."
Isuzu was soon out the door, walking down the hall to the street below, and headed to the other side of town.
~*Gai's Apartment in the Jounin Housing Complex*~
Lee had reached the door exactly 50 seconds after leaving the meeting. Now he was standing in Gai's apartment wondering whether or not to open his hand. Soon curiosity got the best of him and he opened his hand. There sat a mass of... glowing white goo! A little dumbfounded by the substance, Lee tipped his hand to one side. The goo slid off his hand like water then, when it landed on her floor, it condensed into a ball. (HA! It has plasticity! Just like... the Earth's mantle! Learned that in science this year whee *feels proud*)
Lee: confused *picks up the ball again*
Of course, the ball melted back into goo again. After a few more times of dropping it on the floor, picking it up, and few games of stairs Lee got an idea. He lightly blew on the glowing blob and suddenly the ball expanded then diffused to reaveal a sylph.
She lay there in Lee's hand as he stared at her dumbfounded (again). After a few moments she stirred, sat up, rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and got her first look at her captor to which she gave a very playful mischievious smile.
Sylph: *giggles* "Why hello! Aren't you the handsome human boy wink "
Lee: eek redface "Uh, Thank you? You wouldn't mind explaining something to me, would you?
S: *giggles again* Of course not.
L: A friend of mine gave me you but I don't know why.
S: What's your friend's name?
L: TenTen.
S: *giggles yet again* Ah... Now I know exactly why I'm here...
With that she floated into the air hovering just above Lee's hand. She then started to spin very fast until she started to glow. Then a moving image formed in the center of the glowing mass. It was the meeting! Kakashi had just asked about Isuzu's cat, Kaguya. Lee's eyes got big(er) as he realized what he was doing. "OMG! I'm spying on them! This is unspeakably wrong!" *shudders* After finally accepting his unspeakable sin, he just sat back and enjoyed the show on a guilty conscience.
~*Back at the Meeting*~
After Isuzu had closed the door everyone turned to Blackfire. This time the Hokage beat Kakashi to the punch.
"So, I believe you're going to show us Isuzu's childhood?"
"Yes. This is correct." Blackfire replied, bowing her head slightly.
"Don't you think we should have her permission first?"
"It's perfectly fine with her. She feels that the people closest to her derserve to know everything about her and, if they are truly her friends, they won't care about her past or her present. Make sense?"
Everybody just nodded very solemnly. Again, the sylphs appeared in the circle they'd left in.
"You'll be using those again?" Anko inquired.
"Again? She used them before?" Sakura asked.
"Not Blackfire but Isuzu."
"Oh..."
"May we move on?" Tsunade said, sounding slightly agitated.
"Of course." answered Blackfire. And with that the sylphs started spinning again. "Anything you'd like us to show?" they asked airly.
"Yes. Isuzu's first physical training session please."
The sylphs hesitated. "Now..." Blackfire growled at them, baring her teeth. That was all they needed. They spun faster to reveal an image in the center.
"Blackfire?"
*sigh* "Yes Sakura..." Blackfire asked sounding rather annoyed.
"Why did the sylphs hesitate when you told them to do something? They always obey when Isuzu gives them orders."
"First off, let me correct you. Have you ever listened to these so-called 'orders'? They're more like requests than demands. And as to why they don't always cooperate with is is because... Probably because she doesn't enslave them. She lets them do whatever they want, giving them complete freedom and in return they listen to her without a second thought. I, on the other hand, treat them like a labor force because that is what I believe they are..."
Sakura just nodded but Blackfire continued. "My method is far more dangerous though. If I were to ever anger them they'd go on a rampage. This goes for any elemental. When sylphs get angry tornado warp the countryside, urdines cause tsunamis and flooding, gnomes shake the earth and salamanders make volcanoes erupt. With Suz's method there's less chance they'll turn against her and cause chaos. No more questions yet? *doesn't wait for an answer* Good. Continue."

A spring day in Avalon. The branches swaying in the crisp breeze and flower petals dancing in their wake. In the middle of the clearing sat a little girl of 5, her eyes closed in deep meditation. After a few moments she began to drift off he ground to hover a foot above it. Just as she settled in her aloof state, Blackfire landed heavily in the clearing, startling the girl and causing her to fall to the ground. Blackfire noticed what she had interrupted and chuckled.
"HA! You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Meditating again..."
"Of course! I've got to keep on my toes you know. Make sure I don't get rusty."
"Good. Cuz if you're trying to get better I'd call you crazy."
"Why's that?"
"Because... *brings head less then an inch from the girl's* you're already better than Morgan and she's a Faye (Faye means Fate)."
"So? That doesn't mean I can't at least try to get better."
*shakes head* "Whatever. Well, if you haven't already noticed but after 2 years you've completed your mental training. You know what that means?"
"Nope! mrgreen "
"Now you start physical training. But before we start I must warn you not to tell anyone you're doing this, got that?"
"Why?"
"Well... Because, uh... Um, well.. Just Because!"
"Alright..."
"Also, I'd like to know whether or not you know why you did your mental training first."
"Because of the wolf goddess. If I'd done my physical training first that pust a lot of stress on both body and mind and if my mind were to become weak 'she' might have been able to take control of my body. Right?"
eek "Amazingly, yes..."

"Well, I guess we should start in on that training. Your first exercise will be to transform into your wolf form."
"I have a wolf form?! eek "
"Yes. Or at least you should have one. You are the reincarnation of a goddess and usually reincarnations of heavenly beings can transform into their entity in some way, shape, or form. Make sense?"
3nodding
"Good. Now do you think you can do it?"
"I'll give it a shot!"
With that she concentrated all of her mental energy on a mental image of the black wolf, imagining what it must feel like for your body to be in that shape. The girl got down on her hands and feet, arching her back slightly. She imagined what it must feel like to have wings, the muscles aching to lift their body high above the ground in powerful, steady beats. Suddenly she let out an involuntary howl! Just as the cry tore from her throat the sky lite up in a giant curtain of color - the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis. And not just one color either; every color imaginable, all in perfect clarity.
Just as the girl was starting to crumple to the ground from the shock a loud !SNAP! was heard throughout the clearing. Her bones had started to reshape themselves. Another even louder !SNAP! signaled the appearance of two large pieces of bone that stuck out of her back. The two bones started to lengthen and grow silver feathers. Once every feather had been formed they quickly turned to pure silver then back to their silver-color counterparts.
Once she got her bearings and steadied herself she looked up to Blackfire who was just looking down at her as if nothing had happened.
"So. How do we feel?"
"... *pant*... It... *pant*... It feels... *gasp*... feels like...*wheeze*"
"Sit down. Tht might help."
With that the wolf's back legs collapsed and the wolf's panting had a slight hint of relief.
"Better?"
"*pant*... Much... *pant*... Like I was *pant* saying, it feels like my *pant* bones are on fire and *pant* my flesh feels like *wheeze* Jell-O..."
"Hm... Interesting..."
"What's interesting?"
"I'm surprised you know what Jell-O is..."

"Well anyway, now to transform back. Ready?"
Isuzu didn't even wait for Blackfire to finish the sentence before concentrating on a mental image of her human self. Soon her bones had started to shrink and cave in on themselves, forming back into human bones. There lay the form of a 3ft girl where a 7ft wolf had lain shortly before. The girl slowly pushed herself into a sitting position. Sensing she'd had enough, Blackfire decided to end training for today.
"Okay. That's enough for today."
Blackfire started to walk away from the clearing thinking Isuzu would follow. From behind her Blackfire heard the sound of cracking and snapping again only slightly fainter and not as much as before. She looked behind her to see Isuzu transforming again! Blackfire hurried the short distance back to her daughter's side but by that time she'd already become a wolf again. After a few labored breaths, Isuzu transformed back into a human but something was different. This time when she became human the silver wings, black tail and ears had stayed; shrunk slightly to fit her but still, they were definitely there.
*shakes head and sighs* "Sometimes Isuzu. Sometimes... Well, do you think you can walk?"
*pant, pant, pant*
"Can you sit up?"
*pant, pant, pant, pant*
"Can you at least move your head?!"
*shakes head no*
"Hmph... *sigh* Alright..."
With that Blackfire bend her head down and very gently grasped the girl's waist in her daggered mouth, lifted her and put her in the nitch where her neck and back came together when she was on all fours. She let Isuzu slump against her neck and, double-checking that her bundle was secure, she slunk off to find a place to rest.

A few days after the transformation ordeal.
"Alright!" Blackfire said with a mix of excitement and annoyance. "You better be ready for your physical training by now."
There sat the 5-year-old Isuzu again only with a few more appendages just looking at Blackfire.
confused
stare ... *sigh* "Whatever. You'll be ready whether you like it or not. Now stand up."
*very quickly stands up*
Without warning, Blackfire took her left clawed hand and drove it straight for the girl's small form. By the time Isuzu had barely lifted her arms up an inch in a vain attempt to protect herself Blackfire had rested her middle claw (my dragons only have 3 fingers on both hands and feet) on her nose. Isuzu froze in terror and surprise eek
"Hm... Looks like I've got my work cut out for me gonk "
*still shivering uncontrollably from her near-death experience*
"Okay. I'll go easy on you for now. Try to dodge these." Blackfire lazily dragged her tail at Isuzu's feet. The girl jumped over the obstacle and upon landing lost her balance, stumbled, and landed on her butt. Within nanoseconds of landing on the ground Blackfire had pinned her neck to the ground between her front claws.

*sigh* "Alright... I'm gonna go a bit faster, okay?"

Blackfire then began slowly swiping her back feet toward Isuzu's abdomen, thighs, and chest. As the sparring progressed Blackfire discreetly sped up her attacks until each of her movements was slightly blurred. There was a sudden loud !SMACK! and an airborne spray of sweat...
As the salty mist diffused, the sound of legs, arms, and fists hitting hollow hard surfaces could be heard. The visual lowered to focus on the form of the dragon again and 10-year-old Isuzu. There was a BIG difference in the sparring now (besides the fact that Isuzu was taller ^^). Isuzu was able to block the attacks with her arms/hands instead of just continuously backing away and it was Isuzu that was doing most of the attacking! Using her feet, legs, and fists to deliver powerful blows to Blackfire's tough scales the sound of the impacts echoed throughout the forest and slowly pushed Blackfire's massive scaly structure toward the edge of the clearing.
Noticing her situation, once she was against a tree Blackfire waited for Isuzu to attack her then, just as her student's straightened leg was about to collide heavily with her head she ducked, swerved to the left and launched herself into the heavens. After a few seconds Blackfire landed, panting heavily from the workout.
*pants and whistles* "I must say, you're getting much better!" *pant*
"Thanks! whee "
"Well, I think that's enough for today. Let's go," Blackfire began to walk away from Isuzu when she noticed she wasn't following. "Aren't you coming?"
"Uh... Blackfire.. I can't sweatdrop "
"And why not?"
"I'm stuck in the tree gonk "
"AGAIN!?!?! scream "
"Yeeeeeeessssss..."
The visual then focused on the left side if the tree that Isuzu collided with to show her entire knee embedded all the way into the tree.
"You reeeaaaally have to stop doing that stressed "
"I can't help it! I guess I just don't know my own strength sweatdrop "
"Well I'm not going to help you this time. You have to do it yourself."
"Alright." And with that Isuzu easily pushed her hands against the tree and slid her knee out if it's niche.

"Yup..." Blackfire said, concluding the 'presentation'. "That's pretty much her life. How she came to become what she is today. Any questions?"
Immediatly Sakura's hand went up. *sigh* "Yeess Sakura..."
"Why couldn't she tell anyone about her training? I don't understand what would be so important that she had to keep it secret."
"Because... In the scriptures of the Fates there is a scroll containing the destiny of the reincarnation of the wolf goddess and another scroll containing the destiny of the Dragon Master. Both scrolls say that they are not to be physically strong whatsoever. Therefore, teaching her to fight would be going against the Fates. Now don't go thinking I'm completely responsible for her condition now! I did tell her about her fate. She knew that she was never to be physically strong but she went for it anyway. She wanted to try to anyway despite what the Fates had predicted and prove to them that their word is not always law; that there is strength within the human heart. Does that answer your question?"
"Yes. But now I have another one."

"What does the scroll of the Dragon Master have to do with her?"
"It is said that the Dragon Master is someone that is bound to a dragon and is destined to find the 5 dragon eggs to prevent an all-powerful evil that will someday descend to the earth. And just as a bonus so you won't ask another damn question the destiny of the reincarnation of the wolf goddess is to do the one thing that, in the end, she was not able to do; protect the person or persons she cares for most. That enough for you?"
"Yup 4laugh "
"Okay... Now that you've seen her as a child, how 'bout a little snooping on her whereabouts right now whee "
Another image appeared in the center of the spinning sylphs. It was an image of Isuzu and Kaguya walking by the Jounin Housing Complex through a field of flowers they had across the street...
~*Gai's Appartment on the First Floor of the Jounin Housing Complex*~
Lee, still looking at the image created by the sylph, realized what he was seeing and went to the window to look at the sight firsthand.
There ws Isuzu and Kaguya. Isuzu stopped in front of the meadow taking in the vista.
Kaguya: Mrow?
Isuzu: *giggles* I know. I could get home faster if I started jumping off rooftops but I'd rather take the backalleys. I prefer the scenic route blaugh
K: *blinks lazily* Mow...
I: Hm... You thinking what I'm thinking?
K: *blinks twice* Mow?
I: Exactly...
Isuzu dropped her jacket to the ground exposing her wings again and let her arrows and hair tie out to let her butt-length crimson hair flow freely. She slowly and gingerly put her left foot on the tip of one of the many flowers, put pressure on her left foot and brought her entire weight on to the tips of the flora. Once balanced she let her elements flow freely and opened all 8 of her dysfunctional Chakra Gates. Small droplets of water danced in the air, flames licked the petals yet did not singe them, bits of static flicking through the air, frost developed where she stepped, and along with the frost each flower that was touched turned into a beautiful and radiant tiger lily. As for the gates, with each movement the air passed through the invisible openings and white wispy chakra drifted behind like smoke.
Then her ears started to emit two songs:
I need help!! If anyone knows how to put songs in here I would love that or just visual links to songs I need to put the songs Far Away by Nickelback and Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson (< is very important! I've dubbed it the fanfic's theme song 4laugh ) I would VERY MUCH appreciate it =^w^=b
After the ordeal, the entire field was covered in tiger lillies and in the center where Suz had preformed her final step lay single white lotus in small pool of water that was suspended in mid-air. She stood on the tip of the lotus blossom for a few seconds in deep thought. Suddenly realizing what she had just done she quickly tiptoed across the flowers.
"Heh... You think they'll notice ninja "
There was a silky sarcastic response. "No. Not at all..." Kaguya said. (the thing that makes this creepy is that she doesn't move her mouth when she does this eek )

"You really miss them, don't you..."
*eyes glaze over and head hangs slightly* ".... Yeah..."
*closes eyes mournfully and meows softly*
"Well I must say! You're getting better at your ventriloquism ^^ Heck! Your entire mental strength has increased greatly."
= whee = "Which reminds me. I never thanked you for the training."
"But you're not even DONE yet!" xp
"I know. But I figure I'd better tell you now before I forget again" = sweatdrop =
"True... Well, we'd better hurry back. They might be back already. Besides, I have class tomorrow mrgreen "
Isuzu, still unaware that everyone had just witnessed the event, picked up her jacket and arrows and headed down the backalley toward home which still lay roughly a mile away...
!@Lee's Reaction@!: eek *slight nosebleed*
~*Back at the Meeting*~
"What did she just DO?!" everyone erupted at the same time.
"That was her letting off all the built up energy of her elements and trying to use her chakra for something other than rakinjutsu/alchemy. She-"
"Wait!" the Hokage inturrupted. "She can open ALL the Chakra Gates?!!"
"Yeah. As a Wiccan who have those same entrances to the body she needs to be able to do that in able to astral project. But since the first kind of jutsu she learned was rakinjutsu and because of the world she comes from she can only preform transmutations. Once a week she needs to expel any extra chakra and elemental energy (which is pretty much all of it) so that it doesn't build up to a dangerous level and spontaneously conbust. Understand?"
Everyone: 3nodding
"Good biggrin "
~*Back to Lee*~
By the time Lee got back from the window the sylph had turned back into her fairy-self.
"So what are you gonna do now?" Lee asked.
"Oh I don't know. I don't really have anywhere that I HAVE to be..." she replied, batting her eyelashes at him the entire time.
"You could go back to TenTen's."
rolleyes "You really are quite naive. I'd prefer to stay here. Besides, I was planning on moving on anyway. From now on, I'm your's wink "
She then flitted to his face, tapped the tip of his nose with her foot, blew him a kiss, and disappeared into thin air with her final words still hanging in the air... "If you ever need me, just think Bubbles..."
~*Isuzu's/Blackfire's/Kaguya's Rooms at the Hokage's Residence*~
Isuzu came throught the door into their rooms with Kaguya in her arms because she'd fallen asleep on the way back. Isuzu laid the sleeping mass of fur on her pillow, slipped into some pajamas, and easily fell into a deep sleep. Blackfire got home a few minutes later and gazed at her sleeping fallen angel. As Blackfire crossed the room to take her place on the bed the air was suddenly filled with a faint sound; a very strange but so familiar sound. The sound... of beatings angels' wings...

Alright everybody! Chapter 6 is now up! xd
Chapter 6 - Surrounded By Perverts and A Secret Admirer
The next morning, Isuzu woke up to the sound of chirping birds and the sun trying vainly to penetrate her curtains.
*yawns* "Mm... Guess I slept in..." With that she got up, looked around and found Blackfire and Kaguya gone. Dismissing this from her mind she shuffled lazily across the room to the bathroom. Upon opening the door her ears were met by the sound of hammers, drills, and saws. She opened her sleepy eyes to see her bathroom full of people generally tearing it apart!
eek "Um?..." Isuzu started. All activity in the lavatory halted briefly to look up at her before resuming their work as if nothing had happened. There was a sudden puff of smoke in the center of the kaffufle in which the Hokage appeared.
"Oh my! I thought you were gone by now. I'm so sorry! I wanted to surprise you by remodeling it to look like your old bathroom but I see the surprise has been spoiled."
"Uh yeah, I'll second that sweatdrop "
"So what were you gonna do now?" the Hokage inquired.
"I was gonna take a shower..."
"You know where the hot springs are."
"That's what I was thinking."
"Alright, I'll let you be on your way." And with that he poofed to who-knows-where.
~*Down at the Hot Springs*~
After finding an empty bath Isuzu began to strip down and slipped into the scalding waters.
Expression Progression: gonk ... question ... 4laugh
~*15 minute Time Skip*~
Out of the spring Isuzu got, steaming and squeaky clean. While drying off she sensed someone watching her but ignored it for the time being...
~*Outside*~
An elderly man with long white hair seated atop an unusually large amphibian started through a hole in the wall into the women's bath.
Expression: mrgreen
~*Inside the Springs*~
Slowly and discreetly Isuzu slipped toward the door right next to the peephole. Opening it quickly she spotted the old man and his toad crouched down on the ground looking up at her/up her towel...
Old Man: eek xd *massive nosebleed*
Isuzu: stressed "If it's one thing I hate is a pervert that can't control their urges!" And with that she turned around, put the bottom of her foot on the old man's face and forcefully kicked him and his toad into the nearest rock stressed stressed
Blackfire came flying overhead and landed next to her adopted daughter.
eek ... "What did you do that for?!" Blackfire almost yelled.
"You know, it's not very often that I have to kick someone in the face this early in the morning." Isuzu replied rather coolly. "I don't know about you but I'm gonna get dressed and head back to the manor."
*sigh* "Alright. I'll meet you there then." Blackfire said as she took to the skies and Isuzu had gone back into the springs to change with the elderly man and his toad still smooshed against a rock mrgreen ...
~*Back at the Hokage's Manor*~
Isuzu entered the main house practically stomping her feet and with every step the earth trembled slightly. The Hokage came around the corner of the hallway, almost walking head-first into the agitated Isuzu.
"Isuzu?! Is everything okay?" the Hokage asked.
"What makes you think I'm not okay?" Isuzu replied glaring softly.
"I could feel you coming from a mile away..."
"Oh... Well while I was bathing at the springs I was being peeped on by some pervert with really long white hair riding a toad so I-"
"WHAT?!?!" You saw Jiraiya?"
"Who?"
"Jiraiya. We've been looking for him for some time actually. He's one of the sennin."
eek "...He's... a sennin?"
"Yes..."
"Oh! Then I probably shouldn't have kicked him into that rock sweatdrop "
eek "... You what?"
"Well he was peeping on me! AND he looked up my towel!! gonk So I kicked him and his toad into a rock twisted I'm so sorry! I didn't know he was a sennin! gonk "
"It's okay. No one ever told you so you had no way of knowing. You're forgiven. Now if you don't mind I must arrange an ANBU squad to be stationed up at the springs."
"Oh no! That's okay. I highly doubt he'll be back after what I did sweatdrop "
"Then you don't know Jiraiya.He'll definitely come back."
"I'll take your word for it."
"So what were you planning to do now?"
"I was gonna go off to train befo-"
"No. I want you to stay within the walls of the manor until the match. Am I clear?"
"... Yes, Hokage-sama..."
"Good. Ebisu!"
Out of the corner emerged a man dressed completely in black. Upon entering the light he adjusted his black shades, pushing them up further up the bridge of his nose with his middle finger.
"Yes Lord Hokage?"
"If you wouldn't mind I'd like you to keep an eye on Isuzu here. Make sure she doesn't leave her room."
"Of course Lord Hokage," Ebisu stated, bowing deeply. "It'd be with great pleasure and honor that I watch over our own Alchemic Dragon."
Isuzu looked at her babysitter curiously for the name he used to refer to her as was rather foreign to her. "What did you call me?"
"The Alchemic Dragon ma'am. Is that okay with you?"
"Um, sure. But why did you call me that of all things? I've never been referred to as anything other than Isuzu or the occasional Suz."
"Really? It's a code name the ANBU thought up. They also refer to you as the Fallen Angel, the Dragon Alchemist, and Judgement."
"Wow. I've never heard anyone call me those before. Heck! I didn't even know people hand code names for me! xd "
Ebisu chuckled slightly at this. "Well Isuzu, you'd be surprised what being one of the strongest beings in the entire network of villages will do for you reputation."
"Alright, alright! Enough chitchatting. Off to your room with you two. And Isuzu, your bathroom is finished now. Enjoy biggrin " the Hokage interrupted.
"Don't worry Hokage-sama, I will! And again, thank you so much for doing that. You didn't have to."
"I know I didn't have to. But I wanted to."
Isuzu: whee
As Isuzu and Ebisu started off to her room she suddenly turned around and forcefully glomped the Hokage. He looked down at the girl's form very confused.
"Isuzu, what are you doing?"
"Why does Ebisu have to look after me?! I mean God! *points to Ebisu's nose* He keeps flipping me off whenever he adjusts his glasses!! And he does that ever 2 minutes!! And how can you live with yourself knowing your own grandson is being taught by a closet pervert?!?! gonk "
The Hokage looked down at Isuzu for a while.
"It's okay. He's the best qualified for the job and with him guarding you I know you're not going to by escaping anytime soon."
"Wanna bet?" Isuzu replied glaring up at the Hokage skeptically.
"No but I'm hoping he'll try his best and that you might behave for once."
"Yeah... Good luck with that. Meh..." and with that Isuzu detached herself from the Hokage and started walking past Ebisu and back to her room, making sure to give her babysitter a very dirty look as she passed...
~*In Isuzu's Room*~
Isuzu was sittin gon her windowsill which opened out onto a balcony (OoO! Fancy wink ), eyeing Ebisu suspiciously/carefully while he did the same. After a few minutes, Ebisu took out a small gray tape recorder, pushed the red Record button and simply stated: "11:37 AM Friday the 28th. I've been assigned to watch over Isuzu Maromi, species unknown, until her spectated match against a tag team of the two jounin, Maito Gai and Hatake Kakashi. Main mission: Make sure she stays within the confines of her room until the time of the match." He then removed the recorder from his mouth but not his finger from the record button. Isuzu's eyes narrowed as she continued to glare at her captor.
"Do you really have to do that?" she asked blandly yet clearly annoyed.
"Do what?" replied Ebisu, his tone echoing with sarcastic wonder.
"I think you know what I mean..."
"Oh, do I?"
"Oh yes, I think you do... I believe I know that..."
"That what? What dirt could you possibly have on me?"
"That you... are in fact... .. . a WOMAN!!"
eek "WHaT?!! What did you say?!" Ebisu yelled, surprised and taken aback by the comment (so surprised that he forgot to take his finger off the Record button xp )
"Nothing." Isuzu replied, grinning slyly and turning her head away from the flustered jounin.
"No! What did you say?!"
"Nothing!" she said again, peering at him through the corner of her eye. Ebisu slowly cooled down, realizing the joke. Slowly but surely Isuzu began to turn her head to face him. The stayed that way for what seemed like forever in an eternal staring contest. Minutes upon minutes passes which eventually turned into an hour as they continued to keep watchful eyes.
"You blinked." Isuzu stated after an hour of silence.
"What?! How could you have known that?! I have black glasses on!" Ebisu shouted in astonishment.
"I have my ways." she stated plainly. "I have my ways..." Isuzu then put her fingers together in the traditional hand sign of the ram. Ebisu tensed, not suspecting this.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
A very thin white smoke filled the room. Ebisu tried to escape but couldn't for the door was locked. When all the smoke finally cleared the window to the balcony was open and the door unlocked with no Isuzu in sight nor a trail to follow.
Instantly Ebisu send an alert throughout the manor that the wolf had left the den...
~*Down in the Streets of Konoha*~
Rock Lee was roaming about looking for new ideas and tasks to which he could challenge himself with. Walking rather aimlessly amoungst the corner shops and small stalls a small glint caught his gaze. He shifted his path toward the glint and found it's source: a small bell. Picking it up to examine he instinctly rung it and found that it produced...
"Wow! It's sound is purer than the mountain spring waters and far more beautiful than the nightingale's song! I wonder..."
"AH! I see you've found this store's most valuable possession!" a husky shopkeeper thundered, clapping his hand heavily on Lee's shoulder.
"Oh! Um..." Lee stammered, flustered by the man's sudden appearance.
"So you lookin' to buy?"
"Um, not re-"
"Aw that's a good lad!" the shopkeeper interrupted, clapping his hand on Lee's shoulder again. He then began to lead Lee over to a small machine.
"So? You gettin' this for someone special? wink " the shopkeeper asked, elbowing Lee roughly in the ribs.
"Well, mayb-"
"Aw! How cute! Well, if you'd like I can engrave the initials of that special girl, or boy, no offense sweatdrop "
"None taken sweatdrop "
"Good. Into the holding ring of the bell. How 'bout it?"
"Okay!"
"Ah, that's a good boy." the shopkeeper sad down at the machine and clapped Lee one last time on the shoulder. "So? What're that special someone's initials?"
After much thought, Lee finally cam up with the answer. "How about..."
~*Shoreline of the Lake in Konoha*~
Thock... Thock... Tho-CRACK! The heavy sound of flesh being pounded on scale echoed along the shore and into the surrounding woods. Soon the sound of the beating was accompanied by the heavey raspy panting of Blackfire. Isuzu stood silently by the water's edge, right hand extended, left closer to her chest, legs spring loaded to strike and not a scratch or scuff on her not a hair out of place.
Blackfire slowly got back to her clawed feet only to sit down.
*pant, pant, pant* "*sigh* So how long were you planning to be out here again?"
"Until the match at 1" Isuzu replied with a smirk.
"Uuuugh..." Blackfire groaned. "I don't think I can take another hour of this! That's all the time we have 'til the match, right?"
"Yup so don't worry about it." Isuzu assured before launching another attack...
~*In the Forest on the Way to the Lake in Konoha*~
A green blur was hopping from tree to tree. It stopped in one of the many trees and opened his hand, making sure his small but precious cargo was safe and unharmed. He continued on toward the lake.
Once in destination was reached he perched himself idly in a tree just out of sight of the girl and dragon sparring on the shoreline. Sensing the perfect timing he took out the fragile package, winked himself a small heart, attached the item to the bottom and sent it drifting off toward the spar, praying no harm came to it.
~*Back to Isuzu, Blackfire, and Kaguya*~
Isuzu suddenly stopped her relentless attacks on her adopted mother producing a rather bewildered look from the dragon.
"Why'd you stop?" Blackfire asked.
"Almost time to go." Isuzu replied pacing back and forth. "Don't want to arrive winded you know."
Blackfire looked up at the sun. "Hm... I do say you're right. Alright then, let's just relaxe a bit and I'll fly you there, okay?"
"*shrugs* If you insist." Isuzu responded plopping herself gracefully in the sand right next to the water's edge.
"You sure you want to sit there?"
"Yeah, I'm right at the highest point the waves'll reach so I'm pretty safe from embarrassment."
"If you say so..." Blackfire settled into a small pile of pine needles.
"Suddenly, Isuzu spotted something unusual floating out of the forest's edge. Both Kaguya andn Blackfire noticed it shortly after it had broken the forest's boundary. The dragon summoned up a mouthful of fire and Kaguya crouched, ready to spring.
"No!" Isuzu whispered harshly at them as she watched the floating heart drift across the moist sand. On her command Kaguya simply lied down, cautiously eyeing the UFO while Blackfire, unable to suppress the building heat in her mouth, was forced to swallow the fire then opening her mouth to allow the thick black smoke it's freedom. As the remainder of the smoke leaked from her mouth she gave Isuzu a rather dirty look then resumed trying to lick the nasty taste from her mouth.
Once the heart reached Isuzu it stopped directly in front of her face. She gazed curiously at the odd thing. Right then and there she decided to experiment on it! xd
She poked it once, twice, and a third time. Then she grabbed it gently, not sure whether or not it would pop under pressure, carried it over to the water and dunked it in. After releasing it again she hopped onto a rock out in the water not far from the sand. The heart didn't follow but attempted to "jump" over the water to her. Isuzu hopped back and detached the small bell from the bottom that she had just noticed sweatdrop Cradling it in her hands she slowly picked it up and rang it. The sublime sound echoed throughout the forest and around the entire lake. After the ringing had faded, the sound still seemed to hang in the air. Feeling a slight indent in the metal holding ring of the bell, Isuzu looked at it closely only to see the letters RL ingraved in it.
"Hm..." Isuzu purred questioningly.
"What? What could possibly be remotely interesting about a bell!?!" Blackfire growled angrily.
"It has initials in it. Then it must belong to someone! *ears perk up and eyes widen excitedly* If it belongs to someone then I shall return it to them! whee " Isuzu proclaimed raising her free hand high above her head and clutching the bell to her bosom.
*sigh* "Alright, alright, whatever you say. But we'd better get going." Blackfire interrupted Isuzu's pride-fest.
A sudden thud was heard off in the trees so Isuzu went to go investigate...
~*In the Woods*~
Lee, after witnessing all this (^), had become overjoyed at Isuzu's proclaimation. "She likes it! She really really like it! xd *tears of joy*" and in his celebration he lost his balance and fell from the tree...
~*At the Source of the Thud*~
Isuzu arrived at the sound's source only to finde bent grass and ferns. Kaguya, who had trailed after Isuzu, commented, "You think we should go find them or it? Just to make sure they aren't hurt or anything."
"Nah, if they or it got up that quickly from falling from a tree that high up they or it's probably okay.
Back at the shore Blackfire snorted and breathed gray wispy smoke, a sign of her impatience.
"We'r comin'! Hold yer tail..." Isuzu and Kaguya jumped onto Blackfire's back. As they flew off, unaware of their being watched, Isuzu began to attach the bell to her collar.
~*~In a Clearing Near the Hokage's Manor*~
"Aarh, where is she?" Kakashi complained while Gai leaned calmly against a nearby tree.
"Oh, don't worry about it," the Hokage said. "She'll be her. If I know Isuzu like I know I do she's never late without a good reason."
"Don't you mean a good excuse?"
"No stare ..."
A large gust of wind swept across the grass and a large silhouette covered the clearing. As the shadow shrank a winged human shape gracefully landed (without bending her knees ninja ) with and oversized reptile not far behind.
"I'm here! What'd I miss?" Isuzu inquired, looking about.
~*In a Room in the Hokage's Manor*~
Just as Isuzu landed, Rock Lee entered the audience's room and joined Neji and TenTen, visuals provided by the sylphs, to watch the match..
