Pluto not a Planet!!!?????

Now they say they might make Pluto and Charon twin Dwarf planets. They are still debating about the two of them. I guess we can say one day they were going to finally declare it a planet or not after many years of debating. They also say that we might have 3 new planets, but they are still debating about that.

They'd only be classified as Planets if Pluto were to be one as well. That's one of the ideas that the IAU didn't like and then this long debate followed.

They've decided Pluto is Charon's moon as well last I heard, since Charon is the larger of the two binaries. Nor sure if that's been confirmed. It fits, since Pluto is his daughter and all.

I matters not! I say, it shall remain the same regardless of what status Pluto is under. It has a senshi, and that's that! The 4 largest asteroids have senshi... and last I checked, an asteroid is NOT a planet. Apparently, you only need an object that conains a planet-crystal to be a senshi. A planet-crystal is what makes a planet a planet in the Sailor Moon universe, anyway.

Not true. Charon is a little more than half the size of Pluto. It is large relative to the size of it's planet, but if it were the larger one, then it would have been discovered first and therefore be named Pluto... Make sense?

Not true. Charon is a little more than half the size of Pluto. It is large relative to the size of it's planet, but if it were the larger one, then it would have been discovered first and therefore be named Pluto... Make sense?

How could they! As soon as heard that i automaticaly thought of Sailor Pluto! How could they do this to her! It's not right! and now in school we have to learn about the 8 planets instead of nine! It's horrible!

Still. it shall remain the same. Yeah it sux that they are redefining what a planet is... but nevertheless, Sailor Moon cannnot and will not change. I'm wondering what Naoko-hime is thinking now that she has undoubtedly heard the news...
