Gacktuto San Once I get Tekken: DR, i write up a guide on Jin Kazama for both tekken 5 and Dark ressurection. Yeah I mastered him in like less then an hour. And hes a hard person to master, not to mention how to use him. To me he probably has the weakest power, and not much low attacks, his high and mid combos makes him powerful, and the Coarpse thrust gives him a good edge. With good movement hands (left hand) you can deliver some combos that can deal more damage then any other character (except cheap a** Paul Pheonix :0) and has one of the strongest specials and some defensive moves. If you know some vital combos, you have the edge, if its against the wall, if your lucky on what move to use you may end up beating the person in seconds while he still at the wall o.O Good advantage against: Marduk, Jack-5 at times, and some others I forgot Bad against: Nina Williams, Steve Fox, Paul Pheonix (cause of his cheapness that renders Jin sometimes powerless :0) 1 tip I can give: do not stop attacking and use any moment you can. If they enemy is running at you or your not fast enough, use quick interception attacks like left kick+forward/any kick (left kick in DR)/ simple pumches and such. heres one combo all Jin Masters must know: knee kick the enemy into the air/ thrust uppercut punch/etc, do a simple combo with left the right punch, then use the savage sword by down right, right punch twice then right kick once. yeah lots of info isnt it? this isnt even half of what I know ;3 and tokyo, why not go further then hard? practise alot and be like me, who plays Ultra hard xD can anyone do it? and Tekken needs a harder mode then very hard or ultra hard T.T too dam easy! litterally I dunno if Im ready for Very Hard yet. Im tryin to work with Julia and Steve, I want them to be my best characters. Right now with Julia I need more pratice <

TOKYO POP PLAYA Icege TOKYO: Child, you're trash. I guarantee it. What part of NC are you in? I'm in Charleston, and do not mind driving up to an NC tournament just to get a chunk of your cash. CPU difficulty means d**k. You don't win money playing the CPU. You win money playing people. You also seem to have missed entirely that entire bit on "fun." We're all playing for the fun of it. Some of us just aren't content being mediocre at things we do. I, personally, want to do well at anything and everything I do. It has nothing to do with being the best. It has to deal with the fact that I don't half-a** anything, on top of me being competitive. So take that, "I'm just chill," garbage and stuff it. "I play casually," is a much, much better way of putting things. Finally, if you play just casually, then you have no business being here and trying to shoot your mouth off. Again, STFU and GTFO kthxbai. MoonSoo: Heihachi is regarded as #2 behind Devil Jin. Kazuya is currently a debatable, but a majority agree on him being #3. Whether or not he'd be classified as top, or between top and upper mid is the debate. Gackt: It is impossible to "master" anything in less than an hour. Let alone, it's nearly impossible to "master" anything. Be very careful with your choice of words. Mastering does not mean you found some nifty combos and can do all his moves. What are his best juggles? What are juggles you would do for oki? What are his main punishers? Can you EWGF? Can you wavedash? Can you wavedash in to EWGF? Why is WS+2 so good? etc etc. If you don't know the answer to all of those, which are basic Tekken knowledge, then you need to get back into training mode. Jin's solid as sin because of his safe poking strings. He does NOT have an advantage against Marduk or Jack-5. He does, however, have problems vs. Nina and Steve (in 5.0 at least). He has no problems with Paul. You also don't want to be on constant offense either. You'll get smoked. Your combo also, is not a true combo. It doesn't work. It's not guaranteed. The opponent can tech roll it. EndlessDark: Again... you're being very, very vague. What exactly from those characters is giving you problems? There's way too many things I can talk about. Also, against the computer, all you have to do is block and use some safe string all the time. That's why the computer, at any level of difficulty, is complete garbage. I also have no idea what you're capable of with any of the characters. I've got a hunch, but it's not enough. I need exacts. smile Don't waste your time with Devil Within. If you really want to play it, check out the FAQ on GameFAQs. I dont mean to come in here and start s**t, Im sorry man. Wish you the best of luck in the tourneys

TOKYO POP PLAYA I dont mean to come in here and start s**t, Im sorry man. Wish you the best of luck in the tourneys Not a problem. My apologies if I'm gruff... but I prefer to be brutally honest. I rarely sugarcoat things, unless it's necessary. My best/favourite character is Marduk, followed very closely by Dragunov. My top characters in T5... Marduk, Steve, Nina, Feng Wei, Bruce, Bryan, Ganryu, Lee, Roger Jr DR: Marduk, Dragunov, Lee, Feng Wei

Dude, if there were actual tournaments in my area, I'd enter, no doubt. Anyone that does play me, often loses, most of the time miserably. And no, these aren't noobs that have never played before. These are guys that have played just as long as I have. (Played since the first Tekken.) I'm not s**t just because I haven't been in a tournament. When you play and beat me horribly, then you can say I'm not good.

Well, I don't go to tournaments, but I'm better than all my friends and everyone I've played against. I wish I could go to a tournament and get my a** handed to me *I know it sounds weird, but anytime I can learn something new from someone*...
Perro, anyways... Steve Fox is a fast cat. I play as Asuka, and she isn't as fast. Any techniques she has that can help me best him?

From what I keep on hearing, Ice's Marduk's a monster for a low tier character.
I need some DR Feng Wei pointers.

Pwn: Where abouts are you? I can probaby find a tournament in your area, or at least a group of tournament players. However, I've been doing this for about five years now. I've played kids who don't go to tournaments who claim that they can't be judged since they're not known. They fail to understand because they lack experience, they'll get aced. Even if it's something as simple as getting beat by a character they've never played against, that lack of experience means they're trash. Good players don't lose because they don't know a character, they know how to play against everyone.
So until you release a video or place in a tournament with decent players, it's safe to say you're not good ;P
skyboy: That's actually a solid attitude to have. Admitting you're most likely horrible is the first step to getting better. If you believe you're decent, you'll get your head mashed in. If you think you're not good, you'll improve and see the progress.
As for Steve and Asuka... 5.0 or DR? There are 3 different versions of Tekken 5. Tekken 5.0 is what's currently out on PS2. T5DR has Dragunov, Lili, Eddy, and Armour King (is currently on PSP and in arcades). Tekken 5.1 is arcade only and doesn't have any new characters, but has several system changes.
If it's 5.0, give up on Asuka. Steve is God.
If it's DR, you got a chance. d/b+1 is a great new move.
MoonSoo: DR Feng is like 5.0 Feng without oki... which sucks hard. b+1 being nerfed due to violent backroll is bogus. d+3,1+2 is friggin nuts though. His juggles do stupid damage and you get dirt easy hit confirmable oki. It's also a great low

I'm pretty good against everyone else when I'm playing against the computer *but it's the computer, it doesn't get too hard*, but I find myself having to do rematch after rematch against Steve *and sometimes Nina*. So there isn't any stategy at all for her fight against the fastest hands in the game? I'll have to try DR now...
