But, in the Tekken 6 trailer though, he was shown as both Jin and Devil Jin, which would contradict the fact that Jin got completely taken over by the Devil. 3nodding

Shin Oni Son Kurichi-Kai Rhetorical question, sorry about that. sweatdrop I don't think it'll happen really. He might try to destroy it internally, or just refuse the prize altogether. 3nodding cept alot of people don't realize that Jin wasn't officially even in the tournament. He was Devil Jin the whole time during T5. So any chance of him taking the zaibatsu would completely go against everything of Devil Jin even being brought out. OR! The point which you keep forgetting... Jin's prologue -> screen 2 He wakes up in a forest completely destroyed, ne? ^^ And in the T5 opening, you can see him destroying the forest. ^^ And sure, Devil Jin was the sub boss for most of the characters, but not a few, Kazuya for example. What do we learn from this? We learn, that it is just as possible for Jin to be in the tournament in either of his forms. What I think is most likely is that he turns in the Devil during the tournament... But I hope not coz i love his Kyokushin style... Oh and Shin Oni, please tell me why you keep saying he wasn't in the tournament, in DETAILS.

i've explained it all the time in the official thread. Even back on TZ I went into detail but...I really didn't have to cause people already knew -_-
T4 Kaz/Hei/Jin ending sets up T5 as we know. Jin left with the Devil wings out but in control. we can imagine in the short time between T4 and T5 he succumbed to the Devil Gene...hence the opening scene.
Now I will admit at some point, he did become Jin but I personally don't think he stayed in there for long as something kept calling out the Devil Gene. We can at least confirm that Jin was DJ from the mid boss fight and back. Endingwise it's in the air.
I had alot of junk on why Jin was DJ but that was way back when 5.0 first hit consoles so I'd have to really go back into the game to go full detail.

Is it possible that Jin entered the tourney early on, but transformed half way through?
Also, please do not bring up the E3 trailer. It is merely a teaser and nothing more.

Miyavi San first of, I thought Hwoarang was drafted into the military, could explain why Hwoarang was under arrest after the KoiF4. And most likely Asuka and Jin are cousins. Siblings? no because Jun died when Jin was young..and so fourth. And I seriously thought Heihachi was dead!. Also, I hope Hwoarang's ending was cannon, the part where it says Hwoarang beated Jin, nah I dont think so. But the movie...now THAT I want it to be canon (I refering to T5's ending) so far the main story followed Jin's ending (T3, jin got shot and turned to DevilJin, T4 Jin was captured and beat the s**t out of Kazuya then Heihachi) think Jin claimed the Mishima Zaibatsu? I was like WTF!? Heihachi Mishima is dead!? And Jin was 25 when Jun died, this would mean Asuka was 11... but they're cousins. It's be cool if they were siblings though.
