I had bowl cut hair when I was in Primary school >_______>;;
My mum thought I looked much cuter with uber short hair Dx

And the shop that I had my hair cut in was run by asians/chinese people~
And they had this Japanese system that straightens your hair and keeps it that way for a long time...I think its called the Yuuko Hair straightening system...

So yeah, more people will think that I'm Japaness now cos of thie hair that I currently have >______>;;

Oh no, you got your hair straightened with that stuff? It's really, really bad for you, y'know.. I was gonna get mine done in China but then they told me it was terrible for your hair and scalp and everything..

actually most of the time i can tell what kind of asians each individual are..
but sometimes i need to tell by their accents to determine...

I know a Filipino from school that has a weird accent, but her brother has a totally different accent o_____O;;

Heh-heh.. Yeah that happens... lol. It's funny, most chinese dress very individually too, yet they always "look the same." But I think that happens in every race really. There's this one girl (Caucasian) that looks like 2 other girls in my school. I once mistook one of the girls for her, and waved and she didn't wave back stressed grr and then I saw her at class after lunch and she was wearing diff. clothes and I was like eek Haha..

I believe that not all chinese people look alike but what i find that is true is that as people age on they start to look like the spouse they married both chinese , white and such. but you mst know that people who live towards the sea down south are darker in skin than the people up north who have to face colder times.

.....I really do find this article VERY offensive, especially for a person who has a lot of asian pride....I am so mad at how PPL can say it's NOT OFFENSIVE. Chinese people certain range as much as any OTHER race... they are just stupid

To an average occidental, asians do look similar. They probably can tell the difference of southern and northern people by the color of the skin but that's pretty much it.

I suppose we just lack the "intelligence" of how to compare Chinese looks. I think that when we look at fellow caucasians we look at specific things like the colour/style of the hair, height, colour of the eyes, etc. And maybe the distinctions in Chinese lay somewhere else, some other finer tuned differences that we just don't see (well, I see).

Parents can tell the difference of their identical twin children, and a pet owner can differentiate between even a big number of seemingly similar animals.

We have a lot of Chinese students at our school and they've said a few times that it's as hard for them to differentiate between caucasians as it is for us to differentiate between Chinese. rolleyes

i think every race have that problem.

e.g. caucasians think asians look all the same, and the asians think caucasians looks all the same...
