	Actually, you'd get used to a new way of eating or whatnot. I took my friend to get his tongue pierced almost a year ago now. And he's stretched it to an 8ga. He said it's like having a 14ga in it still. Of course at first it was weird. But you get used to it.

	PoppyTea im not well educated by any means. but one thing that comes to mind, is ear lobes are dangly useless flesh, whereas the tongue is pure muscle inside the mouth. my guess is the 'point of no return' is probly bigger than that of an earlobe. BUT this is all pure supposition and theory on my part. You were on the right track there, I'm almost certain I've read that your tongue is the only thing in your body that can regenerate itself if badly damaged or whatever.
