Mangafan5 i was playing soulcalibur and i noticed that yoshimitsu in soulcalibur looks like yoshimitsu off tekken so i looked at the bio's for them and there almost the the exat same if u don't belive me check for yourself Yeah your right I know this isn't the fourm for it but what do you think of yoshi being in SC3

It's possible, but I'm still wondering if it's the exact same character or a descendant.
The Yoshimitsu in Soul Calibur was part of a ninja clan who was murdered by Oda Nobunaga. He tried getting revenge but had his right arm cut off in failure. As a result he got a prosthetic arm to replace it, earning him the nick name "mechanized ninja." He creates a new "Manji clan" of vagabonds who are like the japanese version of Robin Hood and his Merry Men.
Yoshimitsu in Tekken does follow the same code of conduct, but being a space ninja as well the leader of the Manji Clan, has me a bit hesitant to say yes or no.

He's not actually from space >.> But what gets me thinking here is how you said he got his right arm cut off... when in Tekken he got his left armr cut off as he tried to steal some JACK-2 things...

The least complicated and logical explination is that the Yoshimitsu in Tekken is a direct descendant from the Yoshimitsu in Soul Calibur.

Heihachi is relaxing in a mountain spring when he finds a strange looking fragment of metal nearby. Picking it up, he touches it and cuts himself accidently. He feels dizzy and begins to loose consciousness. When he wakes up, he finds himself in the 16th century with the fragment, which he finds out is Soul Edge still in his hand. He figures if he can find the entire sword, he'll be able to return to his own time.
And for those wondering about Spawn:
After Al Simmons dies and becomes a Hellspawn, he is sent back in time by the demon lord Malebolgia to retrive the Soul Edge. The demon lord plans on using it's power to strengthen the Hell Spawn army for the eventual war with Heaven. Spawn's cape morphs into Agony, the axe he uses in the game.

There was the magician who was possessed by Soul Edge because he somehow aquired a shard from our world. After Link beats him, he decided that he's going to destroy Soul Edge and travels to our world, arriving in the 16th century.
