They do, a little in the books. They want to kill each other initially, but they develop a grudging respect-->real respect for each other later. |

He has a point though. o_O She always uses very similar types of relationships in all of her stories. You never see a completely fluffy happy romance, unless one or both of the characters involved get killed shortly afterward! I do kind of wonder why she uses the master/servant scenerio so much.
But then again, maybe I'm just overanalyzing and that's just what she likes to do! XD Well, in that case, it's appealing to me too! |

Because Master/servant relationships are cute (and Kaori-sensei has never shown aversion to bondage scenarios...) and she loves angst ::nodnods:: It makes for a tasty combination...
Her newer series are all very light hearted though. |
