ok i could use some advice here:
So there's this guy at my school and we've known eachother for about, 5 years, i used to like his friend a year ago, but now i like him and he's really nice and i'm really good friends with him and i'm even helping him with his school work. But with him it's impossible to tell if he likes me. i'm still really good friends with him and his friend but it is virtually impossible to tell if he likes me back without asking him directly and theres never an even kind of private moment that i could ask him and it wouldnt cause rumors, so what should i do?

My first reaction to you, Brainiac is this: who gives a damn about rumors? Its better to know, methinks. But its my habit of being forward/headstrong that gets me a little buried. So i say this: Call him. :/ I imagine you've got a close friend or two that would be able to help you out; worse come to worse, just pull him aside for a moment. Ask for schoolwork guidance, then use this lovely golden opprotunity to ask.

Liuentenant_Hawkeye My first reaction to you, Brainiac is this: who gives a damn about rumors? Its better to know, methinks. But its my habit of being forward/headstrong that gets me a little buried. So i say this: Call him. :/ I imagine you've got a close friend or two that would be able to help you out; worse come to worse, just pull him aside for a moment. Ask for schoolwork guidance, then use this lovely golden opprotunity to ask. 1 great advice 2 i wish rumors were a mere casualty in my school but they wont leave you alone unless something else comes up. 3 plus i dont have his number (i tried to find it in the phone books but its a common last name and i dont know his parents) 4 i am as my gaia name says, a brainiac, and the classes i do have with him i excell at he would know something was up if i asked him a math question, (i'm the smartest in the class, no joke) 5 thanks for trying but i'm really shy and something like asking him straight out would probably make me pass out due to nervousness

Anyway, my last-ditch attempt is this. I imagine you have a confidant/bestest friend. Someone you can tell anything to and would trust. Like, alot. Have them get a number from him. Worst comes to worst, write a note, ask him t hang with you a saturday afternoon with maybe a couple of friends. Nothin too stressful, and focus isn't all on you. That way, you can spend time with him and not freak. ;3 Good luck.

watch there body posture when they r around u...if its slumpy...they jus wanna be friends...if its tense the are scared to tell u if they like u...and if its comfertable they are waiting for you to find out or

A week ago...i would be screaming for help about this...but i'm not anymore. Last week I was really happy and wanted to find a way to ask him, but not anymore. See, i liked this guy and we....were kind of close... crying
He asked me out yesterday and i said no. I'm such a fool huh? my crushed asked me out yesterday and i told him no. And i told him no, because he liked a different girl and he didn't want to hurt my feelings...by going out with the girl...but it's hurting me kind of...sort of...
He was a nice and caring guy, but also a bad on too, for considering my feeling, but not considering what would happen if i was to go out with him and get dump by him. How did i know? I sorta of was there when they were talking.

Life goes on, you know? Your world will not end because of a single date. Its not like he was asking you be his girlfriend forever and eternity only to plan on dumping you... You're assuming he's only asking out of courtesy. << Some of me wonders if this is a tad complicated for the train of thoughts of young teenage boys, so I highly doubt that was the way he was going....

LOL....yeppers....in my life's issue class...we did a thing about the opposite sex and the guys said that they didn't understand why we're soo complicated...LOL...

wonderful_skye you guys as in 'you girls'....?? What don't you understand about us?? Yes...Well I just dont know what you guys want. ANd when I think I do. YOu dont wnat it. You want somthing else. I say one thing an d you take it the other way. Also today I talked to this friend of mine about somting that had to do nothing with humans or animals. We were talking about reason and this girl just starts attackin gme. I was like wtf?! I dont even talk bad about anyone. Why would some girl get angry about somthing we are talking about when it does nothing with them ...not even close...I get hit alot by girls...I dont even know why... I dont say anything offending. Like in my last class I was outside looking at my pointer finger becuse I had a sliver and this girl just beguns to hit me. Saying somthing ab out somthing...in the end i found out my friend was the person who said somthing. I guess I was around my friend when the girl heard my friend and the girl though tit was me. Like we say in my circle of friends. Always the brown dude. and the sad thing is. I am the one who gest abuse for no reason of mine...I should just die lol.
