Miss Ann Thrope_x Rellik San Miss Ann Thrope_x Rellik San xLIZA We don't have Hot topic in Australia thank god.
We do have this one alternative shop near me, located between the resident skank and whore clothing shops. Mostly people from my school just go there to buy Misfits t-shirts and hang out with fellow non-conformists.
Of course anyone who's anyone knows Minotaur is the coolest shop ever. See, we're lucky here, we have a whole shopping arcade for alternative peeps, and non of it is big chain stores either. Apart from Grin. Grin? The main shop in Afflecks, Quiggins, London etc. I've never seen it. Or if I have I didn't realise thats what it was called.

I just always thought that was like a general shop, not a big chain, but its hardly the main shop, given the way too it is through the back, Cyber Dog is more prominent then that place.

Rellik San Sashimi on a Platter I own two pairs of NORMAL jeans from hot topic. They were on sale, two for $35. I'm sorry, but i'm not going to pass up an offer like that on a perfectly ok pair of pants. That's all I own from there though. And no. I'm not taking the time to find some shitty independent retailer. I want brand name clothing. And I'm going to wear brand name clothing... only if it's s**t from hot topic I cut the brand patch thing off..<_< >_> When, I could get two pairs of normal jeans for about $25 somewhere else and thats not even a sale price, its the regular. Well that's you. I live in northern California, like specific brands, and specific fits. It was cheap for my standards.

Hot Topic is the only sort of alternative store in my area, and I go LOTS of places. So I either get stuff from there or walmart. You wouldn't catch me dead at Old Navy. NEVER! burning_eyes

well obviously being in another country (nz) that is 's**t from the fly's arse' in terms of size, money, opportunities and just about every other thing materialistic, HT is big only because we have nothing close to that, or any other stores like america & co. then again, we dont even have HT so its not like we can compare it. O_o what a waste of breath.

I'm with you. No reason to skimp on jeans. I mean, it's a lot better then some of my friends who go to abercrombie and come out with 5 pairs of $90 jeans, or my other friend who shops mainly at Urban Outfitters. That place is so damn expensive [but I love the pants!!!]. I'm pretty much poor compared to a lot of the other people around here D: I just hide it from them.

Mmm, $90 is a bit too much. But I don't see the harm in spending $50 or $60 on jeans when you're like me, who only owns two pairs of jeans but wears nothing else.
