I'll usually draw in pencil (doodles are in pen though) and then I redraw the picture in ink. If I'm feeling really risky, I'll scan it and do it in photoshop.

I'll draw with anything, seriously, even if its with mud and a stick. But traditionaly I'm a pencil girl. It kept me from getting ink poisoning from all the tatoos I used to draw on my arms in high school when I got bored....oh the joys of US history class stare

I really like using pencil the most... you can make all the mistakes you want and easily erase them. Sometimes I just keep drawing and simply erase the extra marks... yet I know for CGing the stuff it's best to scan them in inked so I sometimes do that and that's how I mess things up x.x
However I found that inking the lines witha tablet seems to work best in my opinion.

mechanical pencil 0.5 lead, i dont usually color my pictures.... i like them better if i just use diffrent shades of black and grey...... skin i usually just leave alone..... might shade in some parts...... if i really like the pic, i will throw it on the scanner and save it to a file...... but i dont usually like my pictures enough to scan them......
Very hard on my own pictures...... if they arent the highest quality, then they arent quality.......

Pencil adn paper but when I doddle I use a pen because its mostly during class I doddle sweatdrop

I use a .5mm lead pencil for the outline, then I either go over it again with the .5 but darker, or go over it again with a ball-point pen (which reminds me: I have to try using blue, green, and red ink on one of my pics) then if i don't use the pen for the shading and stuff, I usually use a .7mm and a .9mm lead pencil to do the shading. That's basically it for me.

Usually I do the sketches and CG with tablet. But when I get serious, I use pencil for a sketch first.

I use pencils 95% of the time, sometimes charcoal pencils, but when I want to make it colored, I just use CG, I can't color well with colored pencils or any color tools of the sort. sweatdrop

A 0.5 mechanical pencil(can't stand regular pencils anymore), ink pen, and when I color my pictures I use colored pencils.

I use probably any pencil that allows me to draw. I would ink my sketches if I had a better pen.

Since I got a tablet, most of my art has been with that and my doodles with whatever pens or pencils are lying closest to me. Or whatever I'm required to use in art class.
