What is really ticking me off are the liberals who claim that the radical muslims want peace and tranquility, and that we should just talk it out with them in the middle-east.

That's bullshit, their extreme form of Islam, the Jihad or something like that, tells them to kill and shun non-believers of the Islam faith. No matter what we do, the radical muslims will not respect us, or anyone else.

I am pro-choice. We should have no say in a woman's choice, because it is her baby.

I also find most democrats and liberals to be ignorant, the world isn't a happy-go-lucky place, peace talks can't solve everything.

And I find the 1/2 news hour to be hilarious, awesome show. biggrin

I'm Conservative, and just to be brief, I'm rather annoyed at Bush right now, not to mention some of the republicans running for president.......and all the democrats.

Hello folks. My name is Starcrush and I've just recently started to get involved in politics. I am a moderate. I do not belive in a bi-partisan system of government. It doesn't always give people like me a good choice when it comes to political candiates.

I am pro-choice, however, I believe there should be a limit to the number of abortions that a woman may have performed. Using abortions as birth control is irresponsible and reprehensible.

I believe that there should be mild gun control, but we should be wary of where we go in that direction. I am for leaving Iraq, but only if we can assure that they will have a fairly stable country. It is, afterall, our fault that there country is as big of a mess as it is right now. Our foreign policy should be scaled back and more effort should be turned inwards towards our own country.

Right now I am livid at our country. So many people just sit back and let a few elite people make the decisions. Those elite people are only out to fill their own pocket books. We need a massive political purge. All of the corrupted offices need to be replaced. The government needs to be more receptive to the rights of the citizens. I believe that illegal aliens from ALL countries need to be expelled until they become legal immigrants. We need to improve our borders for safety. I don't care how many hard working people come over here if they are here illegally. They are breaking the law. That why they're called "illegals". The odds of a terrorist coming over here is just as good as anyone else coming over here.

There's a bunch more that I'm irritated about, but I shall save those for another time. I hope I can make a good contribution to this guild.

What really makes me mad is that politicians on both sides are using the war-- where good people die and I believe a whole heck of a lot is on the line -- for power games.
And people thinking they have some right to direct my life, that really infuriates me.

Greeting everyone. I'm Max A Draco. (you can leave out the A, it was a typo rolleyes ) Well, what can I say, I'm a 20 year old college junior in Massachusetts..........and a militaristic conservative. You can see my dilemma. I can't tell you how much the liberal communist hippie mentality of this state/region gets to me. And believe me, people know it. I'm one of three AFROTC students at my school, Westfield State College. My unit is comprised of around 50 cadets at a school of at least 10,000 (UMASS Amherst). Life's tough, to say the least. ninja

Be it I will be commissioning into the Air Force in two years, I am very militaristic. I believe in the Iraq War and the War on Terror. It irritates me that when I say that, and someone goes off on why Iraq is/was a mistake, they can never remember, or never even knew, why we're over there. Then, when I tell them, they think I'm a nazi or something. I get into very heated arguments, mostly because everyone believes in being anything that's "cool" (id est, liberal, or the more daring socialist). I also think that wars should be fought by soldiers, not politicians, and am firmly against the popular belief that having money or being in a movie or two makes you an expert on international politics or military strategy.

I'm excited about joining this guild and look forward to having actual intellectual discussions on politics with you all. cool
