I hate it when adults name their kids something completely out there, do they know how much their kid is gonna' be made fun of.
I heard "Peek-a-boo" and I was like, "What's wrong with George? Or Steve?"
Their kid might be made fun of so much he becomes a psycho killer! (My dad wanted to name me "Moon Beam"... then my parents stuck with me name now. ^_^)

Common names like "Bill or Sam or Suzie"
Well..they're just common really. Can't do much about that.
I'm proud to have 'Isabella' as mine name though :3 Even though I'm named after a dead person ;_;

In Jr. High I had this friend who went by Stacie, and I was so mad at her that she shortened her name from what it was to sucha common name, cause I thought her name was freaking beautiful. Her name was Anastasia.

Some names really baffle me. My parents are scared that I"m going to give my kids anime names because I love anime. So, I guess people can get judgemental on what you like. And transfer it to names.

Maya just has a bad effect [Mai-yuh], because when people say just, "My", I think they're calling for me, so I always turn around. Also "Newhouse" has bad affects. Lots of crazy stuff happens. Or this the name Michael Janson, bad luck, big. Getting called Michael Jackson, so sad. . .

I named my daughter Monica. I've always loved that name. And I know, like, no one with that name. I've always thought it was so pretty. ^^

i new this girl whos perants named her bethlehem. I am catholic but i would never name my kid that. Surprisingly no one made fun of her just because in school she went by the name "betty" and no one suspected anything until her mom blurped it out on the first day of school. From that day she had a stain on her name forever

Bubblegum Electric Hmm, have you ever seen the movie or play, "The Importance of Being Earnest." I'd imagine that you'd enjoy it.....it's about this man who pretends to be called Earnest...and umm, this girl falls in love with this "Earnest" and stuff....so in one of the scenes she's like, "I don't think I'd ever be able to love you if you had any other name.....Earnest it just....." and so on and so forth....it's very funny indeed. Written by Oscar Wylde, by the way. I read that book for English! It was actually an enjoyable read.
Well, I don't particularly like my name. People have often found it unusual and some even had some difficulty pronouncing it. :[
