I recommend you go to Bassken (the main lake) first, since the fish are much easier to catch.
Durem is the hardest of the lakes, so it's not best to start there.

I stick with Port of Gambino and sometimes Bass'ken Lake. Durem Reclamation Facility is the toughest fishing area with Bass'ken being the easiest and Gambino being the happy medium. Ever since I found the upgraded rod that worked best for me, fishing's become a lot easier.

Port of Gambino the Intermediate Level Lake
Durem Reclamation Facility is the Advanced Level Lake
Durem is hard but it helps if you get the hang of the other two lakes first. Get used to them one at a time.

xPasta-KittyKatx Jigsaw is my game! I am that type of person who likes puzzles. I love the INSANE puzzles, they take about 45 minutes, but it's okay. Sometimes i fish with my friend. But even if don't get any fish it's okay! Cause, I don't buy my bait. I wait `till I get enough time from daily chance....

.........Well, I am going to go play some jigsaw now! i usually jigsaw too ^_^ its so much easier and you get gold faster. I tried an insane puzzle once, but it took me like 3 hours lol cuz i suck at hard puzzles >_< I'm still a beginner to fishing, but i will agree that it is very frustrating, which is why i dont do it often either lol btw i love your sushi sig, its sooo cute! ^-^

I like fishing but it is hard to catch alot of fish but I have no tips really.

1. Predict the movent! Pull the other way! And when the fish turns, go to the other way!
2. Upgrade the rod if nessicarly.
3. Pratice pratice pratice!

I'm a pro at cards. But fishing.. That's another story. I used to fish... I never got a better rod and I never managed to catch anything anywhere other than barton lake.... One day I'll start fishing again... but cards is enough for now....
As for tips, you seem well off with these tips.. Just practice, it's not like you'll lose the bait. I'd say make sure your computer does not lag and try once with Grade D or A bait.

If you're fishing and not making money then you're doing it wrong. Even on Bass'ken Lake if you just use F-bait you'll make a profit off even boots, tires, and guppies.
I fish only at Durem though. Distance Rod PLUS for the win and all that. Still only use F-grade bait, but I profit like hell on it. Patience is the key wherever you fish though.
