Hotaru grabbed her book and sat down to wait for him. Once he was out and ready to go she kept hold of her book as she followed him out the door.

Kai smiled at her as he walked and then stopped at a cross walk.
"So, where is this place?"

Hotaru frowned. "Across the street from your restaurant." She told him. As she read her book while walking.

Kai nodded and then started heading out there and then gasped lightly as he saw the amount of people.
"Wow.....thats a lot of people....."

Hotaru glanced over her book and started chewing her lip as she took in the amount of people that were at the opening. She gulped and her grip on her book made her knuckles white. She didn't realize how rapid her breathing had become, only that her vision was beginning to swim and she was a bit light headed.

Kai looked over at her and frowned as he grabbed her and then set her down on a bench and looked her in the eye.
"Hotaru, calm down, calm down, its not that bad.
I thought youve been to one of these before?"

Hotaru shook her head as she groaned and put her head between her knees. "No. I never have. I never submit my work anywhere." She put her hands over her head and whimpered. "I don't like people, especially lots of people."

Kai frowned again as he sat her up fully.
"Ok, I see that no matter what, you wont be able to go in there, we are going to have to get you used to being with other people first."
He sighed.
"Im taking you home, and your going to calm down, I dont need you passing out on me."

She automatically started to calm down due to the order. "I tried to tell you." She reminded him as she stood up and quickly followed him back to her place. Once there she leaned back against the door.

Hotaru quickly pulled the heals off and tossed them with her boots and the other heals he had gotten her. They were obviously the only shoes in the house. She moved away from the door and let herself fall back on her small bed. "I don't like people in general. Large crowds freak me out."

Kai laughed and nodded.
"Apparently, but im going to fix that, and im going to need your cooperation with it."
He smiled over at her.
"I assume I dont have to order it?"

Hotaru rolled her eyes and rolled on her side so her back was to him. "I don't really control the way I react." She reminded him. "It's a little thing called being human."

Kai thought for a moment and then sighed.
"I order you to be calm."
He said it as a test to see if it would work at least temporarily.

Hotaru rolled back over to look at him. "I already am calm now." She rolled her eyes. "You're fired." She muttered before turning her back on him again.
