This being that had been walking in the shadows was a man that has been seen as dead and most likely no one truely knew him though his name was pretty famous due to his family, the Sieghart name that is. He was none other than Rasiel Sieghart, he now came to a house with a man with purple hair standing in front of it, he could tell that something was different by this house, he felt a rather large aura from it but in sense since he couldn't actual feel or see aura. He now walked towards it wanting to see what was going on and hoping that this isn't a place where the towns people pln there attacks upon witches, which he kinda thought it was, but something told him other wise.

((They're not bickering. They're communicating. >.< And we were trying to make it a bit challenging for everyone too.))

Telaria rolled her eyes as Goldor left with Brim. "It wouldn't kill him to smile every once in awhile," she muttered grimacing slightly before turning to the rest of the group. "All right then...Ayatane and I will escort Eisti to her home to persuade her grandmother. After that we will meet the rest of you at the entrance to the catacombs." She hoped that they would all be able to make it there safely.

Eisti stood up and tucked her mirror back into the sash tied around her dress. "He looks like he ate one too many sour grapes," Eisti said commenting on Goldor's demeanor. "Shall we all go then?" she asked them curiously. She wanted to get to her grandmother quickly and could only hope that her grandmother would see things their way. The woman really was very stubborn.

Ayatane smiled at the two girls and opened the door for both of them. After they went out of the house he looked back at Matheus. If we can't take the Catacombs or if the elderly lady won't come we will send word to you some how. If you feel that your time is pressed then by all means, go ahead of us. I may not know your name, sir, but I promise you that I will do everything that I can to help your friends. Just... trust me is all I ask.
Ayatane bowed his head and closed the door to the house and came up alongside the two girls. He subtly and gently took Telarias hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. He looked over at Eisti.
Don't worry Miss Eisti, if worse comes to worse I can stay with your Grandmother for the night, if you want.

Rasiel saw several people leaving the house but didn't stop in his tracks, most of them were also wearing cloaks or un usual clothing so he found ease when walking towards them. He knew they weren't villagers at first glance, infact he could tell that they were witches but he has never seen so many in one place, nor has he seen them gathere with the blessed ones like this before, something must have been happening so he decided to advance in order to find out what's going on.

Telaria bid a brief farewell to the others and turned walking out of the house. The rain had stopped (at least I'm assuming it did) and there was fresh dew on the grass and leaves causing everything to sparkle beautifully. Telaria's cloak was still slightly wet, but had dried some-what. The night wind lifted a few loose strands of her hair causing her to shiver slightly under her wet cloak. She intertwined her fingers with Ayatane's as they walked.

Eisti cast a small smile at the couple walking beside her. Even though she was very naive when it come to her own love life, she was not so when it came to the romance of others. It was easy to see that these two were very fond of each other despite the fact that they had most likely just met not too long ago. She nodded in response to Ayatane's words. "I'm sure we can persuade her to come with us," she said a hint of hopefulness in her voice. "If we provide a good enough reason that is." Her house soon came into view. "That's it over there," she said as she led him all the way to the door. She opened the door and stepped inside. All the candles seemed to have been blown out except one. Eisti smiled. It was a tradition that her grandmother had started a long time ago. No matter what time Eisti came home, her grandmother would always leave one candle burning as a sign that she was waiting for her grandmother.

The sound of rocking could be heard not far from them. "Grandmother?" Eisti called into the dim light. "Eisti, dear," came the voice of her loving grandmother. Eisti followed the sound of her grandmother's voice until she found the elderly woman sitting in a rocking chair knitting a quilt. "Grandmother, I need to talk to you." However, before Eisti could get the words out, her grandmother held out a hand to silence her. "I am very much aware of what happened today. Before you say anything, know that I will not be going with you. I know that you may argue with me...but hear me out. My time is near. The time that I will soon pass on to the next world. It would be very difficult for me to travel even if one of your friends was to carry me. Eisti, I ask that you please go without me without arguments. I will keep the Grim Reaper from knocking on the door until you return. I will be perfectly fine here by myself," she promised.

Eisti had opened her mouth to argue, but closed her mouth seeing the expression in her grandmother's eyes. She knew that no amount of arguing would persuade her otherwise. Instead she swallowed a large lump in her throat and leaned down to hug her grandmother. "I'll send you a letter soon to tell you how I'm doing," Eisti said before kissing her grandmother on the cheek and standing back up again. She turned to the others. "My grandmother has decided to stay here, but she wants the rest of us to go on. I believe we should respect her wishes."

Rasiel walked up to the house and looked at a man with purple hair who had been standing outside(Fayte). "Excuse me, but may I ask whats going on here?" He asked as he could sense this man was not human and he could sense the same about others in the house also.

Very well, Ayatane nodded. He had a feeling that she would say that, from his understanding the people here were very proud. Eisti looked discouraged, but Ayatane smiled at her. Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be fine and I think she knows that we will do everything in our power to protect you, and I think that gives her a peace of mind that her Granddaughter is safe and sound. But come along now. If you feel that we should respect her wishes then we will. We can always come back to see if she's okay and I'm sure the neighbors will keep an eye on her as well. She has weathered many storms before, and she'll weather this one as well. So keep your chin up.
Ayatane nodded and then looked to Telaria to lead the way. He tilted his head to the side. He gave a soft hum.
Admitiedly I was hoping to be a hero and carry someone to safety...
Ayatane wrapped his arm around Telaria and lifted her into the air. Holding her close so she could benifit from his cloak if she needed it. She looked a little chilled and normally he would have offered his cloak but it was just as wet as hers.
There, now I feel useful again. Shall we go, Miss Eisti?
PostPosted: Sun Jun 28, 2009 12:42 pm
Telaria let out a small shriek as Ayatane lifted her into the air and began to carry her. She playfully beat on his shoulders with her fists in protest, but only half-heartedly. "Now, you put me down right now," she said trying her hardest not to laugh. Part of her felt terrible for being in cheerful spirits, especially after she lost a dear friend of hers. But Ayatane seemed to have a special talent for making her smile no matter the situation. There was a deep pink tinge upon her cheeks as a result of being this close to Ayatane.

Eisti bit her lip biting back the beginning of another argument and nodded. She gave her grandmother one more kiss on the cheek and said good-bye before walking out of the house closing the door softly behind her. Her lips twitched into a smile as she watched Ayatane and Telaria. It was quite simple to determine that Telaria was enjoying herself despite her half-hearted protests.

Ayatane's smile broadened at Telaria's feeble attempts to get away, as well as how her eyes sparkled with joy while she was in his arms. But my lady! It would be considered ill mannered for a gentleman and a warrior such as my self to allow a beautiful lady such a yourself to have to walk needlessly. I mean... look at all these puddles that you could potentally step in and get those adorable feet of yours wet and cold.
Ayatane spun on his heel once and then stopped to look at Telaria, the color red had returned to her cheeks. He assumed that the direction they were ment to head to was in the direction of where they came from. If not, then Telaria was sure to let him know...probabily by knocking him about the head lighty or something. He looked down and smiled at her.
Look at it this way, you get to rest after such and exosting day all all you need to do is point out the directions of were we're headed. Right? So come on now, Poor Miss Eisti looks like she might be catching a chill and the best way to ward off the cold that is publicly acceptable is exercise.

Matheus stood up, and sighed once Eisti, Telaria, and Ayatane were gone. Be safe Eisti... Matheus thought. She wished it could have been her going with Eisti, but they really didn't need more then three. Eisti would be safe...or at least Matheus hoped. That Ayatane better not try anything either. Matheus bit her lip a little. Wait a minute, was she really feeling jealous? No..that couldn't be it. Eisti was just a crush after all, and Ayatane was a stranger to them both. Attemping to get those thoughts to leave her head altogether, Matheus busied herself with throwing a few things together at the last minute before those who remained would leave. Her alchemist bag was filled with essential supplies, and tools, along with a couple things she couldn't bear to leave behind or loose in the case that her house was raided. With that taken care of she pulled on a weather beaten, light brown colored cloak, and pulled the hood over her head, "Let's go." she said to those who remained in her house, and then left to head for the catacombs.

Telaria let out a joyful cry as Ayatane spun her around. She wrapped her arms around his neck clinging to him so that she would not fall. She regained her composure after a few moments and moved a few strands of hair away from her face. "You win," she said finally giving in. "Just keep going in the direction that you're facing. It's only a few miles down this road. You'll know it when you see it. If I'm right, we should arrive there about two minutes after the others arrive hopefully.

"You don't need to worry about me," Eisti said in a rather embarrassed tone of voice. "This would not be the first time for a cold for me. I've had them plenty of times before. They're really nothing new to me. My grandmother claims that I was born with no immune system. Of course if that was true, I would be living in a bubble for all my years." She hoped that she didn't sound ridiculous. She knew Telaria as an acquaintance, but barely knew Ayatane so she wasn't used to speaking to someone she didn't know very well.

Yes Ma'am! Ayatane said with a bright smile. He looked over at the other young lady that was accompaning them and gave her a reassuring smile. Well regardless, if you feel cold please don't hesitate to let us know and well see what we can do to keep you warm, alright? You may be tough but your not invincible and your friends would never let me hear the end of it. You have some very good friends, Eisti.
Ayatane continued to follow Telaria's directions, he didn't know if it was good or not that her friends were so protective of her. He was happy for her that her friends were so close but at the same time it was going to be tough to earn their trust. Ugh... oh well. Rome wasn't built in a day and at least Telaria seemed very comfertable with him. Heck, she was in his arms and looking rather pleased with that at the moment.
So... Miss Eisti, how long have you know the young man in the house we just left?

Rasiel then heard the door being opened once more as he seen a young woman walking out(Matheus, he knew this woman wasn't human, he knew exactly what she was and has seen her around a few times but had never actually spoken to her, he walked away from the man with purple hair and walked over to this woman and cautiously and calmly showing no sort of hostility. "Excuse me, but may I ask what is going on?" He questioned in soothing tone of voice.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 28, 2009 2:03 pm
Eisti was silent for a moment thinking. Finally she answered his question. "I would have to say I've known Matheus since the first time he came to Salem. It's been so long, I can't even remember how long it's been. Ever since then, he's always been so protective of me and I have no idea why. Of course I never protest...well at least not all the time," said with a mischievous grin. "I met the others not too long afterward, but I rarely talked to any of them besides a bit of small talk here and there. I always had a feeling that there was something different about all of them."

"We're all different, not just this one specific group," Telaria said. "The problem is, the people of Salem do not want to accept us because they are afraid to realize that these differences might be a good thing. They have been led by those who would rather strike fear into their hearts and plant stories into their heads about our kind." As she spoke, her body became a bit warmer and warmer, not just from Ayatane's body warmth, but from her own element working its course.

Well, by the sounds of it. This Matheus gentleman has some sort of attraction towards you. At least, thats how I see it. When a man has something precious to him he protects it with all his strength. But I wouldn't worry about the difference at all. As Telaria says everyone is different and we all have those little quirks that make us who we are. But at least now you understand their distance, right? It was to protect themselves as well as you and everyone else that was close to them. But now you have a chance to get to know them better because why they kept you at an arms length is out in the open.
Ayatane looked down at Telaria and quirked an eyebrow playfully at Telaria, he could feel the warmth from her but said nothing about that.
Are you comfy, m'lady?
He looked over at Eisti as he walked at her pase so as not to leave her behind. He was entrusted with her safety and quite frankly he wasn't going to allow that entrustment to rot because his legs were longer than hers.
I admite that the group doesn't come off as overly friendly, spare Telaria, though I can see she has a spark of fire in her eyes and that makes me a little worried. Maybe keep an eye on this one. Ayatane cast a wink at Telaria to prove he was pnly being playful. But seeing as you know Matheus then I imagine that your acceptance will come more quickly then mine. Seeing as I'm an outsider and out of towner its going to take a lot of work to earn their trust. But don't worry... I'm sure the movements of the planets and the stars will be in our favour and we'll earn some new friends. And thats never bad right?
