"Well, I could, but I won't," Vence responded, smiling. "You see, there's a problem with that... there's not enough food unless I order seconds." Smiling, he took one of the last bites left, befoer washing it down with almost the last of his drink as well. As he did that, Mayloo had once again expressed her hard-to-hold-in-excitement about the whole travelling concept. it made him smile everytime, reminding him of how he used to act when he was younger. It wasn't that he had matured or anything, but past circumstances made it... difficult, for him to act much as a child anymore. He envied Mayloo for it, really.
Deciding not to leaver her wish ungranted, he stood up.
"Well then, I shan't make you wait any longer, if that is indeed what you wish," Vence said, pretending to act a little formal. It was bad attempt, honestly. How many people used the word "shan't" in a sentence in their lifetime nowadays?

"I wouldn't mind if you did. I mean we'll have to pay for other food down the line" It didn't seem to matter anyways since he stood to suffice her impatient and or anxious behaivor. Pushing out her chair, she hopped up rushed to his side to snag his hand with alittle giggle.
"Why thank you sir" Vence had gotten her into doing it too. "And without any further adu" Swinging their arms, Mayloo headed out.
"Yay, to the boat we shall go!" It wasn't far from there at all, only a few steps really, or a few meters but she liked to believe it was right there in front of her.

[Couldn't help it. whee It's spelled "adeau." I know, why do the french people have to spell things weird? rolleyes ]
Vence didn't have much of a choice when it came to following Mayloo out the door. Just before heading out, Vence tossed a gold coin to one of the waitresses, making that their payment. And now for the boat downstream.
"Well, I think it's time we stop saying we're going to the boat and actually get there," Vence said, smiling. Who was the impatient one now?

Lol, xD I'm taking French two. Ah well. They have a bunch of irregular verbs and stuff and they like to be complicated O.o ))
Mayloo watched shortly as Vence sent the coin to the table. "Oops" She told herself for not letting him have payed nicely instead of just rushing out the door.
"hehe, true. Well then guess what?...Your it!" And with that tag, she went sprinting off to make it to the boat finally. There was alittle trouble. She couldn't board it without money for it which Vence had. "Dang" Mayloo smirked for her plan of keep away had been foiled. Ah well.

Sorry I haven't been stopping by as often, btw. Work is catching up with me. sweatdrop ]
Vence couldn't help but laugh as he continued to walk, rather than catch up to Mayloo. She had obviously forgotten he had the money to pay. When he finally arrived, he pulled out four silver coins - two for each of them - and handed them over for their trip.
"You sure you don't want your money back?" Vence asked, a smile on his face as he made his way onto the boat.

That's ok, I figured you were swamped. It's cool this is a 1x1 cause you won't have a bunch of people skipping ahead you))
Standing patiently before the boat man, Mayloo awaited for Vence to approuch and pay their fee. 4 coins wasn't too bad, atleast it you divy it up to 1 coin a day.
"I'm sure, knowing me I'd probably loose it all or something." Boarding the boat behind him, she couldn't help but smile still. "Let's make sure this is a fun trip ok?" And with that she did sort of a tackle hug.
"It won't be long..."

"Well if I kept some money in two different places then maybe...then again knowing me I'd lose one after another. don't chance it. I trust you." She said smiling while looking around. The railing on the other side of the boat somehow caught her interest. Grabbing his hand, she rushed him along side her. "Look, in about two days we will be on the other side in another city." Mayloo was alittle shakey with excitement.

"Oh, then have three places," Vence said, still joking around, figuring it'd get old pretty quick though, he added, "But I'll take your word for it."
He loked around at he landscape for a few seconds, particularly toward Altyrys, still visible from here. All looked as it should there, but for some reason, something about it wasn't quite right.
He was pulled from his thoughts when Mayloo took ahold of his hand, leading him to the other side of the boat. She was excited, no doubt about that. He couldn't help but smile; It was like watching a child fascinated by something it knew nothing about... like playing peek-a-boo.
"You make it sound like this is a vacation, complete with cruise and resort," Vence replied, still smiling. If you put it as simply and loosely as possible, it could be called that. An interesting outlook, really... for the meantime, he would see it that way. Who didn't like vacations?

"Maybe by the first two lost I'd learn a lesson" And with that dropped she smiled wide and looked around the other shore, before looking to the horizon, and then around at the boat. "I consider it more of a getaway from daily life to begin a journey." It was nice being away from the house and parents etc. Eventually it may catch up to them, but for right now it was a time to relax. Maybe "I think I'm going to go look around and maybe question some people"
And before he could respond, she had disappeared. (Time Skip)
The day had passed to now reside at sunset. Mayloo had definantly questioned some people, mostly the people who ran the ship, but there were others that caught interest. She felt like she had learned alot of everyday people and what they go through to create life to function nicely.
She now sat at the back on the boat, looking over to watch the water churning as they glided steadily along the peaceful night. Now only if Vence found her...
((Sorry I wasn't on much. I was at my friend's trying to attempt some parkour. lol, instead I met a creep O.o Thank goodness though my friend will never bring him along to another meeting. How was your day?))
