Onyx walked, silently watching everyone. Studying them, closely. /she was always intriged by the behavior of people and how they interacted with each other. She stared into Da-ku's eyes, basically reading his thoughts. "Uhm, Da-ku...." She said "I don't think you should...hold it, I honestly think that Phiara should...sence she seems to know what it's capable of..."

Myraku folded her arms across her chest and pouted.
"You're such a meanie," she murmured, then continued to follow him, still trying to look at what he was reading. She was actually a little worried, as exciting as this all was.

Phiara sighed at being picked out as "the expert" on the book, but let the comment slide, deciding it wasn't worth getting wroked up about again.

Myraku glared at Da-Ku.
"A barrier?? Seriously???" she asked, a bit ticked that Da-Ku was trying to ignore her.
She kicked the wall continuously as they walked.

"Sorry, I wasn't trying to keep you out, and I won't use it constantly. Just a quest for knowledge" He smiled and read some more, then erected a black sword from the book then placed it back in... "Dark magic.... And I thought this was gonna be simple"

[ i seriously thought this was gonna be a basic roleplay but this is a hell of a lot more interesing]
We came up to a door, "Hold on!" Ishouted to the crowd as I faced the door
"Necrateemahailatona...." I continued chanting then flexed my palm at the door... A dark globe shot out my palm and hit the door with a flash of pure darkness... a mist melted off the door and I smiled
"We can get out of barriers now"

Myraku eyed Da-Ku even more suspiciously.
"Something's not right..." she muttered to herself, then continued to follow the others out of the barrier that Da-Ku had just SUSPICIOUSLY blown to bits.

(( I think I may have contributed to that just a tiny bit ^.^ ))
Phiara stepped through the doorway, trying to ignore the feeling in the middle of her chest that this would turn out badly. She folded her arms and kept her eyes on the ground, becoming sullen and slightly depressed.

Da-ku's mind began to race.... The power... It was trying to corrupt him.... He could feel it.... Seeping into his every gap, every hollow space in his soul.... He focused all the energy he could onto the book.... He tried to burn it, spear it, melt it, anything.... Nothing worked.... he just felt a searing pain in his head... He walked along casually like nothing happened
