Nanashi turned to Pri, and gave him a wave of the hand. "Sup Pri. Long time no see." Nanashi said, then looked at the three genin in front of him. "Ok, well since everyone is pretty much up to par when it comes to Jutsu, you guys, and gal, shall begin making your first puppets." Nanashi preformed a couple of handsigns, and put his hands into the ground in front of himself. When he pulled his hands back out, they were holding several scrolls. "Ok, so, I am going to give each of you guys an axe, and you are going to go into the forest behind me, and get your wood. Then, when you come back, you will use the tools provided to make your puppets. Any questions?" Nanashi asked.

Pri smiles shocked that he would already be making his puppet. "No questions at all! I have blue prints for my puppet right here I have been working on!" He says excited and ready to start making his puppet.

(I already got a puppet approved am I just going to be making that one?)

"Ok, get to it then. Whoever impresses me the most doesn't have to do 100 push ups." Nanashi said, as he tossed the axes up, making it so there was no way any of them could miss the handle, and even if they did miss it, it would go to the side, as to not injure them.

Kimochi hadn't thought they would be making their puppets already, he still had two more justu to learn. He wasn't with Makoto or Pri during the meeting but the man's voice had traveled allowing him to hear the announcement. Kimochi attached chakra threads to the practice puppet and made it go and grab the axe out the air. He didn't feel like all this work. So the last sound justu he needed to learn was the Koukaon no Jutsu (Sound Effect Technique).


Koukaon no Jutsu (Sound Effect Technique).
Description: Using the Cannon and Glove in tangent, the user can create a sound effect of choice. The effect might be the sound of an explosion, an animal roaring, footsteps, etc., but cannot be a human voice speaking in sentences; the sound has to be simple. "


"Oh well." Kimochi moved the puppet to his locatin and grabbed the axe. He started by cutting the practice puppet into pieces of wood. He then went into the forest and began chopping a tree, it was hard work, because he wasn't very strong. Kimo only managed to get a few pieces from the chopping. So he put those pieces down and ventured deeper into the forest were a wolf was lurking. "What luck!" He thought. He had needed artificial or animal fur to give his Wolverine and Sabertooth puppets full effect.



Kimochi decided to improvise by learning the last justu on the list.

Kimochi focused his chakra through his vocal cords and made slight sounds making sure that they would vibrate. The cords vibrated but needed something to enhancve the sound. Kimo then focused his natural sound element from the village into the technique. He made a slight pur as a cat would do. THis was a mistake as the wolf had heard.(1/4)


KImochi now chatted his teeth together making a footstep associated sound and the wolf moved swiftly in the other direction. Kimo didn't expect to have to chase it, he would need to do so cautiously. To practice the remaindant of the justu he would need to just practice limitlessly with this wolf.(2/4)


Kimochi now slowly but surely followed the wolf. He saw it's black fur through the greens and greys of the forest. He chatted his teeth together once more and this time he added his tounge which made a wolf call or natural speak. The wolf heard and turned for Kimochi having his mouth open growling. Kimochi made the osund of an explosion from behind the wolf. In fear it charged for Kimochi.(3/4)


Kimochi then stood his ground and made a bear growl. THe wolf wass now the one in fear. It was confused. It began to run. Kimochi made a bushin and it appeared in front of the wolf. Kimochi made another bear growl as the clone opened its mouth causing the wolf to think that it was the clone's growl. It leaped and dispersed the clone. From cover Kimochi through a kunai hitting the wolf right between the eyes killing him.(4/4)






Kimochi now used a kkunai in his pocket to skim the dead beast of fur. He left the wolf there and walked away with the fur. He now needed to get more wood. Kimo went back towards the training grounds and found woood lying around and he returned to camp. Ready to start making the base of his puppet at least.

Makoto opened the scroll and hurried on her jutsus to learn, before Nanashi got impatient.First up was Fusenmei.Makoto focused her chakra out of her body. She looked down at her arms{Trippy.}. She felt herself able to move around a little.{This will do some good.} She released the jutsu.((1/1))

Makoto looked down the list.Otokakimazeru.{Wow, long name.}She released the jutsu on her self, to see what it was like and almost immediately regretted it. Sounds seemed to come from where ever and at what ever decibal.{I don't like this!} She whined inside her head.((1/1))

Next up was Yubi Kausi No Jutsu.{Oh, this one is more advanced.}She made several handsigns and focused her chakra into her hands.She looked over at the nearby tree and gave it a swipe. No cuts were yet to be made.((1/4))

Makoto tried the jutsu again. It wasn't complex, so it should not take her this long to learn it. As she tried to cut the tree again, she left small indentations, where her hand had passed over.((2/4))

She looked at the tree trunk.{Well, at least I'm improving.}She thought to herself. When she did the jutsu this time, she could almost see the extensions that were over her fingers.((3/4))

{I almost have it}Makoto thought to herself.This time, she could clearly see the extensions. She moved her hand over the tree and they neatly sliced the bark.Growing absent minded, she began to carve Nanashi's name into the tree. Realizing what she had done, she cut it out quickly.{Moving on....}((4/4))

Last on the list was Shizumaru.{Simple enough}She focused her chakra into the area around her. As she moved around, her hearing did not seem as well as it normally was.{I think I know what this is for.}She attached her chakra strings to her puppet and snuck up on Kimochi, placing the puppets hand on his shoulder.{I hope this surprises him at least}((1/1))

Kimochi jumped slightly but after realizing that it was Makoto's practice puppet she had been given earlie, He turned around and grabbed the hands off his shoulders to make it seem as though he wasn't surprised and threw the puppet to Makoto. "Bad try, I'm not affected by such childish behaivor." Kimochi was starting to be aggitated by the girl, he hoped the new squad member Pri wasn't a jokester, it would mean hell on earth.


Kimochi now pulled out his Wolverine pppet blueprint. He decided to make Wolverine first and Sabertoooth last. Kimochi started by carving the wood pieces and making them straight. They appeared sturdy and strong. He tried bending each piece of wood and the ones bendable were placed in a seperate pile. To make the base of the puppet, Kimo planned on making it hollow inside at first and was going to add on the detailed features because he hadn't had exactly every piece of equipment he needed. He hoped the master puppeteer arrived soon. (1/5) ((OMG 5 post for C ranked puppets, wow.))

Kimochi then used some glue he had in his bag to start gluing the wood together. He now had an ovalur belly of Wolverine. It had a hole in the top for the neck and four holes at the bottom for the puppet legs. He then shaped the legs and put the bendable wood where the calf meet the thigh of the leg. He also used screws to make the llegs bend properly. Now he made a wooden cylinder. It was made of all bendable and the weakess material he had found and so it was the puppet's weakess spot(weak joint). (2/5)

Kimochi decided on taking a break. He leaned against a tree near his supplies and current puppet structure.

Makoto dodged the puppet."I'm still making my blueprints."She said with a sigh."Is there a way I could help you guy?"She asked Kimochi and Pri, indicating their half-built puppets.

"Hey Makoto, come here for a sec." Nanashi said, pulling a paper from his shirt. "How can you be making blueprints? They look done to me. I took these off you earlier. They don't look half bad. So I think it is best to get to work on your own puppet." Nanashi said with a wink at her. He handed her back her blueprints with a smile and a small laugh.

Makoto blushed."Yes, Nanashi-kun."She grabbed the axe and quickly shaved some wood from the trees to build the frame. She quickly ran next door to grab some plastic and set down to get to work.

She grabbed some of the wood and quickly constructed a rude frame of the head and joints for the arms, still letting it lie in many pieces.((1/5))

Kimochi thought it was weird that after his arrogant actions towards Makoto hadn't caused her alarm and dislike towards him. It was mysteroius to him and hoped that she knew that they were only teamates and not friends. He had no friends. He though friends brung upon the downfall of everything. "Well actually I dont need any help, I could have used some more wood but you should get to work on your puppet I guess." He said without emotion. "Sensei, I can only finish my puppets base and I will eventaully have to modify my puppet once each tool I need for the construction is ready. So once my base is made which shouldn't take much longer, I am inneed of a scroll."

Kimochi found some plastic and used it to shape balls for eyes. He then made the wolf head. He based it off the wolf he had killed. He placed the eyes in the eye holes and glued around the edge making them hard to come out and would need to be melted by fire to be removed. He then glued the head on and glued the legs on. Now he had a base and he glued the captured black and brown fur onto the puppet making it look like the dead wolf.. All he needed was the insides of the puppet and the steel for claws and teeth. He had to consult with the puppet specialist. (3/5)

So he walked over to Nanashi and explained in depth his puppets functions and why he had to wait. So he decided that he would enjoy a brake time and relax laying near a tree. He walked over and laid down.

Makoto looked at the frame she had constructed. She filled the gaps with the plastic she had brought. She picked up a bit of paint and painted on eyes.{Yay! the face looks good!}((2/5))

Next Makoto turned to the arms. They were barely constructed and not attached yet. She inserted the knives into the exterior of each joint, a painstaking process, since there were 48 jointed limbs on OCHO((3/5))

Makoto picked up the arms and carefully put the spikes on the interior of each joint so that it would be able to grab onto things better.{This is so tedious}.She attached the joints together into eight limbs.((4/5))

Makoto quickly attached the eight limbs to OCHO's head.She turned the puppet over and installed the beak onto the base of the face. She pulled out two cartidges carefully. She installed them into the beak, one on each side. Flipping OCHO back over, she attached chakra strings and got used to moving him around.((5/5))

Nanashi tossed Kimochi the scroll he would need. He then turned back to the puppet that Makoto made, and grinned. "Very well done, Makoto. It looks very nice."

(Ok Sorry for the slowness. Been busy with other things in the guild and my other RPC and what not. I am hoping to get better with this.)

Pri catches the axe and quickly pulls out his blue prints from his pack excited as he slides them out on the ground and looks them over. He reads how much wood he needs and other things he would need and sets off into the woods to find enough wood to complete his complex puppet. It would take a bit of time to finish this puppet he had planned out but he was dedicated and he wants this puppet. He rolls up the blue prints and puts them back in his pack and grabs his axe and runs off to find wood for his puppet.

After searching for a decent tree he finally comes across one quite a bit a ways from the training grounds. He lifts his axe and swings it sideways and begins chopping down the tree. This tree seemed to have just the right amount of wood he would need to make his puppet. After quite a few chops of the tree it comes tumbling down. He then chops the top part of the tree off just leaving the tree left. He grabs one end of the tree trunk and drags it back to the training grounds where he would begin construction. He finally makes it back to the training grounds and sets down the trunk. He pulls the blue prints for his puppet back out and looks them over. He would need to make the base/body of the puppet first. He goes to one end of the tree and begins chopping out a large enough body for his puppet. It looked a little rough so he pulls out a carving knife and begins carving the body of the puppet. It was a hard and long process but after at least 3 hours he finishes the body of the puppet. He had build small holes all around the body where he would place senbon and left a larger opening to place the contraption that would shoot the senbon out. Finally after setting up the contraption he had built and all the senbon in the body having a few problems along the way he wipes the sweat off of his forehead. It had taken him almost 6 hours just to finish the body of this puppet. It was then he realized that it would be much more work then he originally thought to finish the puppet.

Yukio walked onto the grounds, counting the money from several different wallets. "Man, guards have got to be some of the dumbest ninja in the world." he laughed before noticing Nanashi, along with various young ninja he'd never met before. "Hey Nanashi, how's it hanging?" Yukio cheered but was quick to put the wallets away before doing so. Nanashi was never so enthusiastic about his theiving habits.
