Kirlia patted Cubone on the head. "There, there. It's okay, you don't need to pick a fight with any of us" she said soothingly. Riolu looked up at Lucario and nodded. "It'll probably take about two days to reach Vermilion City". He looked at the map that Lucario had. "It would seem that the fastest route is through the Diglett's Cave. That should bring us out right in front of Vermilion". He adjusted his bag and looked at everyone. "Well then. Let's go!"

Pokabu was staring at the ocean hoping to see Mijumaru. "I promised myself I'd find them, and that's what I'm going to do." He said to himself.

"I'm trying to find some friends of mine that were taken by Team Plasma." Said Pokabu. "In your travels have you seen a Tsutarja and or a Mijumaru?" He asked Vaporeon.

"That's Mijumaru!" Exclaimed Pokabu. "Where exactly did you see him?" He asked.

It took a lot less time to reach the Diglets Cave that Riolu thought. He looked inside and saw several Diglett and Dugtrio moving about. Then something happened, a human stepped out of the cave. He was fairly tall and had short, spiked brown hair. The most curious thing about him as that his eyes seemed to be closed, but worse than that, the pokeball he was holding, signified that he was a trainer! "Well, well" he said merrily "This is a strange-looking group I stumbled across. Are you going on a journey?" he asked the pokemon.

"A Lucario huh? That brings back memories" Brock replied nostalgically. "Oh, since you can understand me, I have favour to ask". A small pokemon stepped out from behind him. It looked like a small green snake with legs. "This is a Tsutarja, a grass type from the Isshu region" Brock explained. "She seems to lost. You look like a dependable bunch, could you help her?"
The Tsutarja looked up at them. "I can't find my friends, Pokabu and Mijumaru. Have you seen them?"

Riolu and Kirlia smiled, knowing that Pokabu had gone off after Raichu, who happened to be where they were headed. "We can help" Riolu replied. "We've seen Pokabu recently, if you come with us you should be able to meet up with him".

Riolu nodded to the Gym Leader, whom said his thanks and went on his way. "I guess not all humans are bad huh?" Riolu said as they walked through the cave. Kirlia nodded as she held Tsutarja's hand. "Yeah, there are some good ones, but there some that are not so good". She turned to Tsutarja "So how did you get lost anyway?"
The grass type looked up at her, "well... I..." she didn't seem too keen to answer.
"Never mind, it's okay" Kirlia repiled. She squinted her eyes as they emerged from the darkness of the cave and into th sunn port city of Vermillion. "Well then, here we are!" Kirlia announced.

Xatu's attention shifted from the moon the the nearby trees. Raichu blinked and looked over at him "Somethin wrong"?. Xatu stayed silent but then issued his answer "Someone has entered the city...but i do not sense the enemies..but then again i could be wrong". Raichu nodded "well i aint takin any chances"! she jumped off the roof and landed in front of the other animals "Okay! the enemy may be near! Xatu sensed them! so everyone keep up your guard! the enemy could be here any moment now and i dont wanna have to be the one to scrape up ya dead body off the ground if ya get taken out" she chuckled as well the others "So! stay on guard"!. She then looked over at Vaporeon and Pokabu "Hey you two get over here! we might need your help"! Vaporeon looked back at raichu then pokabu "Well better get goin" she smiled and walked over to the rest of the group.
