Yuki ignored her, already absorbed in her book. Riley rolled her eyes and took off, needing to drive. All this, this new world, these ne powers, they were taking their toll on her. She shook her head, hoping to dispel the dizzies that were taking over her thoughts. She pulled over amidst honks, yells, and obscene gestures, and rested her head on the steering wheel. Inky black clouds swam in her vision, and she stumbled outside, collapsing once she hit the grass. She lay there for a few momentsfeeling her strength come back.
