Well Bob can't leave his skull without permission from Harry,...so he was kind of grounded for a while. No leaving the skull and no dime store romance novels. xD
But apart from that there's really no way to restrain Bob when Harry lets him hijack Mister (Harry's cat) to run errands.

Well Bob is a spirit so he has to be inside something that can act as a body for him at all times, so he either lives in the skull, hijacks Mister when he needs to move...And once he possesed a T-rex that Harry brought back to life. xD Bob had a lot of fun with that one.

Yep. xD It's fun being on top of the food chain.
But Bob and Harry aside my favorite character in the series is Thomas Raith.

Yep. xD
He is missing in the tv show. But he's in every book after he's introduced in the third book. ^^ And he's been a major focal point of a couple of them.

Well because they're neat characters and it's fun watching them develop and mature, Billy especially since he's pretty innocent at the start of things.
And also because they're college geeks/nerds that end up turning into really cool, rough and tough werewolves that protect the area near thier college and house from any threats. xD
