Ark and Nezumi

Ark finished getting dressed and grabbed his keys. He considered saying goodbye to Nezumi, but figured he was asleep. He left in a rush, sure to be early for the meeting.

(blahblah and then the day happened, it's Thursday, right? :c After this I am goin to keep track.)

Nezumi finally got up about noon and started doing all the house work. He put the chicken in the oven and went to his room to clean up. While he was 'cleaning up,' he found his box of old cosplays, so he tried on his neko ears and tail. "Nya~ emotion_bigheart " he said to Hamlet, before he could smell the chicken; so he went back to the kitchen, still with them on.

Ark got home around 5:00PM, not in the greatest mood. He entered the house and locked the door behind him, planning on feeding his birds and going to his room to read.

Nezumi stepped into the living room, smiling with his neko ears and tail on. "Welcome home Ark-kun!" he said in a cheerful mood.

"Yeah, thanks," Ark said, not paying much mind to Nezumi. He was visibly irritated, and made no effect to check his behavior. He went straight to his birds, doing what had to be done for the day.

"Are you ok?" Nezumi asked, worrying about Ark, he was never this grumpy.

"Fantastic," Ark said venomously, finished feeding his lovebirds. He opened the cage of the sun parakeet to feed it, too, not paying attention to much else.

"I cant see that your not!" Nezumi said raising his voice slightly, 'Tell me what's wrong."

"What makes you think you're entitled to know?" Ark asked, closing the door to the birdcage. "It doesn't affect you."

"Fine! I was just trying to help," Nezumi said stomping into the kitchen, sighing slightly. Once in the kitchen he took his newly found bad mood, out on the dishes on the sink.

"Well, I don't need it," Ark said, a bit more calm. He went to his room, took his shirt off, laid back on his bed to relax, and started reading. He hadn't bothered to close his door, because he didn't want to inadvertently slam it.

Nezumi finished the dishes and pulled the chicken out of the oven. He wrapped it up and sat it on the bar, before he stepped outside into his garden. "Obaasan, what should I do?" he asked the small tomb stone by the pond. He sat down and let his feet touch the water, careful not to get close enough to fall in.

Ark continued reading, occasionally stopping to rub his neck or sigh. He was seething, and just wanted a break, or some way to relax. After a while, he suddenly remembered that Nezumi had been in his bed earlier. He wasn't sure why the thought occured to him, and quickly brushed it off.

Nezumi came back inside and made two plates, sitting them on the table. He fixed himself a large cup of coffee to relax but he knocked on Ark's open door. "Dinner's ready if you want to eat," was all he said before he returned to the table.

Ark was too irritated to be hungry. He remembered what happened last time he took just his dress shirt off and how Nezumi reacted, and he didn't have the energy to get dressed again. He decided to just stay in his room and read, and eat later if he felt like it. He wasn't sure whether he should tell Nezumi or not, and just decided to not make any comments.
