Chase beamed and bowed to his teachers.
"Yes..I will. Thank you for the lesson."

Hurridly, he rushed out of class, but went the opposite way than where the dorms were. He needed to find Lutia and Raziel.

((I can't remember if Chase knows Raziel's name...dont think so?))

"what a nice kid, that one is going to be a fine magician one day"

"quite a comedian as well!"

the door to the deans office was open with the hidden staircase still hanging open

gren and little miss metal ninja plushie minion stopped in the middle of the stairs to witness the strange battle of slink vs brawn

Chase sped by the Dean's office, then backtracked, seeing the hidden stair-case. He figured either Lutia or raziel had found it already and proceeded down the stairs.
"Fun fun." he sang softly to himself.  

[Angelic King Raziel]

Raziel's mind was racing. So far their attempts to destroy the creature had failed. A thought that the creature was a deity-created toy crossed his mind, but he blocked it out. He remained hovering above the creature, far out of it's reach as it continued singing it's irritating song. Nemo was beginning to get heavy, and he wouldn't be able to keep them both aloft for much longer.

"Lad, take a look. The stairs seem to have no ending in either direction."

Indeed Raziel looked, and the dwarf was correct. As far as he could see, in either direction, the stairs stretched on into eternity. Destroying the creature seemed their only option of escape, but what could they do against it that they hadn't already tried?

At that moment, a strange sound filled his ears. At first it was faint, but it continued to grow until it began to strain his ears. He looked around for the source, but could see nothing other than themselves and the creature. Nemo seemed to not notice the disturbance. He began to listen more closely, and to him it sounded much like the cry of a Hawk. Why would he hear such a thing in this god-forsaken place?

Suddenly a brilliant light burst forth from the gem on his recently claimed glove, spitting out a blue globe that circled about his head, nearly scaring the dwarf right out of his hands. The globe settled on his shoulder and shifted into the form of an elegant Hawk. Raziel was stunned, but not speechless.

"Attack, Gwen!"

The hawk let out a shrill cry as it took to the air, sweeping down upon the slinky and barrage it with devastating passes of it's energy attack.

"So You Are Both Powerful Summoners. I Shall Not Be So Nice Any Longer."
Shroud waved his sleeve towards the two "Fire!" The trench coats with machine guns fired at the Dysfunctional Duo.

the slinky continued down the stairs seemingly unharmed by the attack
"slinky! slinky! safe from being eaten slinky!"

the shots fire sending a few holes through macks hat as he flew threw the air leaving a bullet imprint in the wall of a smiley face "Hold Still Jarian Summoner Clones!"

gren turned in midair as chase decended down the stairs and waved towards him pointing at the battle below with the gun lutia gave him  

[Angelic King Raziel]

The dwarf watched the creature continue on it's way down the stairs, feeling slightly sheepish as his lack of thought about the slinky's physics.

"You know, lad. I don't think the creature is of any concern anymore, do you?"

Raziel had to admit, he felt more than sheepish as well. He cleared his throat and placed the Nemo and himself back on the stairs, watching the creature disappear on it's journey down the stairs. The hawk landed on Raziel's shoulder and at once turned into a blue sphere, returning to the orb on his glove as if it knew that it was needed no longer.

"Guess our only choice now is to follow after the thing. Our prize must be waiting down below."

Raziel nodded in agreement and began his march down the stairs, followed closely by the dwarf and the strange sidekicks that Lutia seemed to have left in their care, as well as the lagging Chase.
