“Michael Sheen [got to] try on a lot of different clothes - a lot of different coats and jackets and waistcoats and shirts and things like that - in which they were ‘finding Aziraphale’. Part of the joy was seeing the final shots where he’d found clothes that made him happy and were gloriously timeless. And I love the fact that Michael Sheen (who loves the book) had actually reminded the costume lady that while Crowley gets to create his clothes out of supernatural nothingness, Aziraphale buys his and then holds on to them for a very long time.”

So, essentially Michael got to do a Doctor-Who-new-incarnation-clothing-montage-until-signature-look-is-found moment when deciding on Aziraphale's final appearance.

Pretty cool to know Aziraphale's final look is all because of Michael. xd
