"Now...If you really WANTED to do that, I wouldn't DECLINE the offer....."

"We're only stuffed in a trunk on a bumpy road, with no means to even MOVE enough, let alone do it safely!"

"You still thought of it, so I thought I'd be nice..." Nick grunted, looking away from her.

"...Why do you keep looking away?" Beatrice asked, her eyes narrowing into a glare.

"Because this is getting annoying..."

"So you look away to some other place in a trunk?"

"Well, seeing as you're now snapping at me whenever I talk, I can't really do much else, can I?" Nick asked, staring up at her.

"I haven't been snapping at you every time you talk."

"NEARLY every time. And now you're ridiculing me for looking in another direction."

"It's just odd. Most people I deal with just act like complete jackasses whenever I 'annoy' them."

"Well, I'm not most people."
