 IrisShrugging off the comment about breaking death's heart, Iris gave the couple a kind smile. "well, maybe if you chose a rapper that doesn't swear so much? i'm sure there's a few of them out there." she mumbled, rocking on her heels awkwardly. "or perhaps... something more traditional?" she added, tucking her hands behind her back.

Adrian Darcy " Adrian. My name is Adrian," snipped the tall male to the newcomer, power radiating from each fiber of his being. " I'll ask you not to refer to me by my title. To you, it seems respectful; to me, it seems ridiculous. I beg you, ask next time, or simply call me Mr. Darcy." Angered red eyes flashed in irritation at the beta male (at least, Ray was in his eyes), before returning lovingly to his beautiful and heavily pregnant wife. He set one hand over the one on her stomach, eyes only soft as they looked upon her. " I tried to suggest a lullaby sung to me and my siblings by my mother, but she seems to think it too dull for our child. Honestly, as long as she doesn't choose that strange Azalea woman, I think I can be coerced. Anything for my wife." Those intense eyes once more glanced to Iris, warlike rage hidden deep within the lava-like pools that were the Scotsman's eyes. " Reminds me a little of Dante. He wasn't that surprised to hear of your whoring about once again, Iris, but he says that he should've expected it from you. I suppose I should thank you for opening my brother's eyes." His gaze slid back to his wife, directing her to a booth not near Iris and Ray's. " Come, darling. You need to eat before we leave for Albion." He helped her sit, touching her at all times as if he wouldn't let her out of his reach if something bad happened.

Iris"Whoring about? with whom, exactly," Iris drawled, her voice surprisingly calm considering the anger welling up inside her. "After all, I've been doing nothing but work for months now, haven't had time to even talk to my siblings, hell I don't even sleep. But its not like any of you would know that about me, you'd rather just assume I stand on a street corner and hook up with the highest bidder, wouldn't you," she continued, her voice only cracking at the mention of her family. Ignoring the tears running down her face and ruining her makeup, the elemental held tightly to her locket as she bit back a sob before once again picking up where she'd left off. "But it's not like it matters, does it? Because no matter what I say or do, I'm still just the annoying whore not even Death can get rid of."finishing her little tirade, the elemental turned to sit down, still not fully aware of her tears.

Adrian DarcyAdrian cared little for the woman's tears, only nodding when she said something about standing on a street corner and about being an annoying whore. With a chuckle, he shook his head and rolled his eyes. " God, you're such a drama queen. You let the man take care of you, then ran off at the first sign that something was wrong with the wars when he took too long to get back, and you're currently having lunch with a man who I'm pretty sure isn't your relative. Honestly, I can definitely see why I have good reason to dislike you for spurning my brother, who only did what he could to protect you and prevent an era ending. You don't deserve your position." He crossed his legs under the table and then his arms, keepign sure that one leg still touched Lena. " You can cry all you wish, but the Riders will have nothing else to do with you. Even Dante is asking if he can pawn off the duty of killing you as the era ends to someone else. I'll tell you now that Famine and Conquest are fighting for it as we speak. Take responsibility for your actions, Iris, and stop whining like a child. You will earn no sympathy from any self-respecting being." He turned his head back to the table, handing his wife a menu and sighing. " Order, dear. Our trip is soon, and we can't risk the baby."

Iris"funny, i thought Dante wanted to be the one to do it as payback for my killing Krona." she said with a bitter chuckle, hands by her sides. "after all, that's why he hates me. i killed the woman he loved while playing with blood magic." she drawled, turning to look at him with cold eyes, her tears now dry. "so stop poking jabs at my feelings by telling me those lies. he could never love me. i'm the woman who ruined his life."

Adrian Darcy" Would you stop being so self-centered?!" he shouted back, eyes glowing and flashing. There was something new in them, the power that already lingered beginning to grow. " All I hear is 'my feelings', 'he hates me', 'I killed her', think about Dante for a change, why don't you? He's dealing with loss, anger, frustration, betrayal, and all buried beneath a ridiculous amount of stress that comes with being the bringer of death, the Pale Rider. If you really cared about him, if anything about him mattered, you would stop talking about yourself and let him be the center of attention for once. You're whiny, you're annoying, you're self-involved, and all you think about is yourself. You don't deserve my brother, and that woman before you didn't deserve you either. Now get back to your boyfriend and leave me and my wife alone." Ending on a cold note, the male squared his jaw and faced forward once more, determined to completely ignore the woman. She wasn't worth his time.

IrisClosing her eyes, the elemental took a moment to calm down before she spoke again. "you're right," she drawled, closing her eyes. "but that whole train of thought is all i know. look out for number one, right? i just don't know how to handle things when my number one is someone else...." she muttered, opting to sit in a corner, away from Ray.

 "Ok, even if it isn't my place to say anything, I feel like I should" He said and looked at Adriane. "Mr. Wa.....er, Darcy, I know that Iris here hurt your brother, how much I am unsure of, but, for the sake of Lena and the child, can we please not raise tensions beyond what they need to be? I'm not saying you have no right to be upset, because believe me, I have brother troubles of my own, I'm saying please don't do it here..." He took a deep breath and looked at Iris. "And Iris, I may not know the difficulty of the situation, or even the status of it, but I do not that nothing comes out of being self centered." He sat down and looked at her, a hand on hers. "Please, let us just enjoy a nice evening, yes? I am sure that Me, Lena, and your child, Mr. Darcy, will greatly appreciate it. I am sorry if I come off rude, but I could not just sit here silently while the same tension that caused me to leave rises again." He took a deep breath, looked down, and prepared to be met with the full force of Iris's, Adriane's, and Lena's anger.

Adrian DarcyThe Rider, whose name is spelled Adrian, without an e at the end, visibly tensed as he was spoken to, turning slightly as the male finished. His eyes narrowed in irritation, every single thing about the male annoying him. Who did he think he was, joining a conversation that had nothing to do with him?! Honestly, of all the stupid, self-entitled things to do! Who did he think he was, king or something? Didn't he know that Adrian had the power to wipe him off the map? Of course, he wouldn't, since Lena would be furious and the only thing he feared now was Lena's anger, but there was still shock at the level of stupidity that Adrian was facing. One thing was for sure: he had never met anyone dumber in his entire life then that male speaking to him. " Do not speak to me, or attempt to speak for my wife and child," he coldly growled at the man, temper flaring once more. " And try not to think, boy. You lower the IQ of the entire street." He handed the menus to the waiter after he and Lena ordered, determined not to look back at the two. Why couldn't they just leave him and his family alone?

Pure T0rture Iris"Don't bother trying to reason with him, Ray. It won't do anything except make him angry," iris drawled, standing up slowly. "And, as much as I've enjoyed talking to you both, I'm afraid I need to get going. I've put off work as long as I can, after all, you can't have the Salem witch trials without Alice Young and Margaret Jones." She sighed, pulling her wild curls back into a bun as she started for the door, her normally quick steps slow and dragged. Pausing at the door, she turned to look back at Adrian, her lips pulled up into a tired smile. "Adrian? I know you don't like me much at all, but thank you for trying to make me see that he cares for me. But I've always known I wasn't good enough for him. He deserves far more then I could ever possibly give him." she murmured, the usually defiant glare she gave him replaced by distant silver hues.

Adrian DarcyIt took a single look to Lena to know that he couldn't let their exchange end like this. He raised a glass in her direction, his own small smile on his lips. " No one has ever been good enough for Dante, not even Khrona. But he's never cared, that's why he's our big brother, and if you allow the feelings of me and my other brothers to affect what happens with him, then you really are less of the woman I expected you to be." The glass, filled with grape juice in respect to Lena, was brought to his lips and sipped once after his small toast, nodding at her. She would make her own decisions, and Adrian didn't expect anything he said to really make its mark. At least she was thinking about Dante again.

"I can see that..." Ray sighed. "My humbleness comes from respect, not fear, Mr. Darcy. I am not a little child, and I am not here to fight." He laughed. "But what could you know about peace, Rider of War?" He sneered. His good eye emitting a small glow. "According to Iris here, a little experiment of mine has run amok, and if I cannot find it and eliminate it post-haste, all of you will have more problems than a grunt like me." He got up and headed out of the door. "Iris, if you have any more free time, perhaps we could continue our assignation at a later date. As for now though, I have better things to do than getting chewed out by something that won't effect me." He said, a bit disgruntled. He straightened up, paid for everything, and began walking towards the door.

Iris"i make no promises, Ray. work's been having me running around like crazy lately." the elemental drawled, a portal opening up once she was further away from the cafe. With one final glance back towards the cafe, she gave a light sigh and stepped through, picking up a large duffle bag just before it closed back up.

Lena Foster DarcyHaving stayed silent for most of the conversation (if you could call it that), Lena eyed the duo that left before glancing at her husband. "You went overboard again." she said in an almost sing-song tone as she casually took in some of her drink. "I know you don't like her, and I can't say I like Ray that much myself, but c'mon, you've got to choose your battles. Or something like that. I don't know, I can't say much after trying to rip Nikolai's head off." she shrugged.

Adrian Darcy" And you're being a brat again," he teased in reply, reaching for his glass of wine and moving it slowly. " Look, I can't stand how she treats my brother. It's not fair and someone's got to tell her off about it. He certainly won't." Setting down the wine glass, he swallowed back his pride and confessed to his wife his thoughts. " It reminds me so much of Amy and our failure of a wedding. That woman tore me into pieces, and I don't want my brother to feel like that."
