Damned Woods

[Hiraru Sagara]

Devin groan, as though expressing displeasurer with where this conversation was going.  

[Julia the Trickster]

"Oh alright..." Kaede replies. She gets up and carries her freshly plucked pheasant over to Pyne. "Here you go, freshly plucked."  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"Thank you." Pyne said and put it on the fire as he took the rabbit meat off. He handed a piece to Kaede and put the rest on a plate.

 

[Julia the Trickster]

"Thank you." Kaede said. She walked over to a soft patch of moss and sat down. She had actually already eaten while hunting, but since she had never actually tried cooked meat, as far as she knew at least, she decided to try a bit.

Devin shifted in place until his paws were under him. Pyne would now the posture for readiness the instant he saw it, and Devin's eye were on the rabbits.

Pyne looked over at Devin and grinned. He reached over and took a whole piece of rabbit and lifted it up for Devin. "Make sure you make it last." He said as he waited for Devin to take it.

Devin sat up, and huffed. There were three rabbits, why couldn't he have a whole one and then some. He whinnied and looked across Pyne for the rest of the rabbit.  

[Tall Italian Boy]

Pyne shook his head. "You need to let Alyxis eat before you feast on all of it. Now take this before you get nothing." He said to Devin.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

Devin gently took the rabbit bit from him, part of the foot hanging out and gave Pyne a look, that said "I'm sorry, you still love me, right?"

Pyne nodded and started to eat his rabbit. He looked over at Alyxis and watched her.

 

[Julia the Trickster]

Kaede sat on her little patch of moss eating the rabbit Pyne had given her. It was not the best thing she had tasted. Perhaps with some spices she though to herself as she ate. But then again she never spiced what she caught, so why did this rabbit not taste as good? She pondered this to herself as she ate.

Alyxis was still wrapped around her bad arm, but she had stopped twisting about, and was simply laying there shivering.

Devin took his quarter of rabbit and ripped it up to eat it, even crunching down on the bones.

Pyne finished eating and went over to Alyxis. He rubbed her head softly as he looked down at her.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

Alyxis turned her head to look at him. Her expression was weak, tired, pained. "Make it end... Just cut it off and let the pain be over."
