Oh my god this b***h is annoying....lamented the Claire's rescuer. Whether or not she wanted this, it was happening and it was for the field generating Owl's own good. Besides, he'd sit her down momentarily. That was when he deemed their distance between the Russian forces and the UNS far enough. "Hey. Girl." Che called to Claire, the thrashing girl who seemed to had calmed finally. "If I sit you down....do you promise not to get caught? Your friend Slowliel took off in that direction." The limber Italian lifted his hand and pointed with a finger to the west. That's where Raven and Roulin were. Should the rambunctious girl decide to walk, she'd be walking for a while....Che couldn't care less about how far she walked. Now that they were away from the Basilica, he could sit her down, take his blows and leave her to herself. "Alrigh. I guess you can follow...I'd prefer it over you running off really but it's up to you kid. If you get caught, that's your a**. Try not to let your power slip into the wrong hands though. I may be your enemy, but those men in black our both our enemies." Turning away from the young woman, Che bid her goodbye as he and Lucien split paths. If Claire wanted to follow him or Lucien, the option was their. As long as she didn't go off on her own, Che would feel safe about her and her powers.
Now that he was on his own path, Che felt comfort in knowing that he was fending for himself and not some upstart Death Owl, some chemist and some...some little girl with a good ability. Sighing, the bushy haired man ran his hand down the length of his face tiredly. This running was getting on his nerves and thanks to the UNS preemptive strike, which Che knew they couldn't have seen coming from The Night Owls and their own SpecOps team, they were now set back many many squares. Of in the distance, he felt a major surge of aura rise, then fall to a flatline. He dared not think of what it was for if he allowed himself to dwell on it, the realization that Noel was now dead and it's impact that would hit him sooner or later may have brought him to tears. For now, he needed to find Kate, make sure she was safe and start teleporting people from the island...
After more minutes of frustrated traversal, Che followed the beacon of aura his dark, emo, russian friend constantly gave off. It was low and that alone brought Che to two conclusions. Either she was hiding herself, or she was injured. Frantically, the elder Presidiomni ran his fingers through his hair before allowing his energy to surge. Fenn's power kicked in and once Che caught sight of Kate, his superspeed broke past it's limits. The ground he exploded upon was disintegrated revealing the sewers and pipes that laced the underground of the city. The cars behind him were pulled forward when his mass shot forward creating a faux vaccuum. Whether or not he wanted to admit it, he was daftly worried about Kate and the bullet that was lodged just above her stomach and below her ribcage...
Now arriving at the woman's side, Che kept silent as he slowed in his approach. From the turn he'd made, cars surged through the area flying though buildings and other vehicles, restaurants and landmarks. The man zoomed fast enough to lift the individual pieces of cobblestone from their sturdy foundation. Laying eyes upon the woman, the Italian couldn't help but feel a tinge of irresponsibility lurch over him with a cold hand. The Mayor didn't plan what he did, but Che already knew that no matter who teleported him and no matter where he went, this would've ended up happening. Disillusioned with many things right now, Che could only drop to his knees next to the woman and gaze. Too many things were going wrong under his watch. And how? Because of one Death Owl who managed to pull a fast one on them? Biting his lip, Che's rage began to simmer...he focused and exhaled to relieve himself of what he would need to fight later. Finally, he was able to bring himself to words in the presence of the woman. No eye contact was made as he said in a slow, soft almost apologetic tone, "I'm---I'm sorry Kate...."

(Soliel - Claire)
After taking a few minutes of thinking, Claire began to feel like she was being a ditz and started to work up an apology. But when she was put down she watched the man started to walk into a different direction. Telling her while he pointed was where Soliel was, it would give her a chance to beat the s**t out of him but watching the guy leave, she wanted to say sorry. After cooling down she stood in one place thinking of what to do. Um, Soliel or the guy who carried me. Without a doubt she began to move in the direction of where Che was going. She wanted to apologize for her behavior and wanted to tell him she was sorry, so thinking while walking she told herself she would meet up with Soliel later and began to run towards Che's direction. Hoping to catch up she started off with a faster pace.
(TFP Serlida)
While moving through the crumbling builds she started off to find the Fallen Phoenix. She wanted to catch up to them so she could rendezvous together. Using her Material power she made a grappling hook and began to toss it high as it caught upon a roof. Grabbing the rope she started to climb up walking while pulling, gripping while grasping, she started to use her strength a bit more and started to climb to the top while making her way she dissipated her rope and began to run towards to the next building, making a grappling gun she shot off to the 5th building across and place a line hook while streaming down passing each roof top and started to land while dissipating the grappling gun and rope. Materializing a M91 she began to go to the edge while scoping the area she didn't spot any TFP in the vicinity. "Damn."

With a brief sigh, Kate closed her eyes. She didn't necessarily want to admit it but that night at the karaoke bar had been... fun. She thought about what her last real conversation with Che had been. Not the one where they had yelled at each other in the Basilica, but the one from the previous night. He had kissed her then. Had that just been something to mess with her head to get her to stay and not leave for Russia? Or had he really meant that? Had Che really cared enough about her in that manner? Maybe she was being gullible and naiive from the lack of people that cared about her, but Kate felt that maybe Che really did like her that much. But if he did care that much, why wasn't he coming to find her? Doubts and what ifs danced across her head as if taunting her. However, this question was answered soon enough. Sighing lightly again, Kate turned her head to the side as if in defeat.
By this time, Kate's senses had faded enough that she could barely hear anything going on around her. But the loud rumbling, crashing, and shaking ground beneath her body was cue enough to let her know that something was happening. And it was getting closer before it stopped nearby. Kate did not really care what was going on around her right now. At least not until she a familiar voice say her name. It was soft and faint, but it was very audible to Kate because it was the one voice Kate thought she might never hear again. And that voice was Che's.
Forcing herself to open her eyes even though all her body physically wanted to do was just lay there and die, Kate's eyes slowly moved to look in Che's direction. Even though he was right there next to her, to Kate, it appeared as if his figure was farther away than it was in reality. Forcing her lungs to take in a ragged breath, Kate started to speak, "Ah... Che... You finally decided to show up, eh?..." Her voice sounded raspy and her breathing sounded raspy between each phrase. The gunshot wound at the base of her rib cage made breathing difficult for her. Even though it was painful to be talking, Kate still felt that she should at least say something to the Mastering Owl right now. Otherwise, he might think she was actually dead. She coughed once before continuing. "I was... wondering when... you would... show up..."

Che was disgusted himself for both the event unfolding before him and the event that was taking place not too far away. Will was over in that region, so Che could only hope that he was attempting some kind of crowd control. If not, someone would be there and the violence would be quelled one way or another. The life in front him though was slowly fading and that only drove a stake deeper and deeper into the elder Presidiomni's heart. His eyes were trained upon the wounds the Russian woman had received and they made him cringe. Just their sight alone reminded Che of what may have been and what he thanked a higher power for preventing. Leaning over, he brought Kate close to him and began to ready something to keep pressure on her wounds.
The Mastering Owl tore the sleeves to his shirt away and proceeded to wrap up each area that was bleeding out. Her waist, which still contained a bullet and her shoulder blade. Her arm would possibly be out of commission for a while and if he could remove either of the lead projectiles, they'd cause infection....Che steadied his hand as he wrapped, but still couldn't diminish the trembling that laced his careful movements. Then, it all started to come to him. Noel, a close friend of his, was dead somewhere...probably in an alley burning to a crisp thanks to the efforts of the Heralds. Here Kate was slowly dying in his arms. If he had his deck, he could heal her, but as this was not the case, Che found himself shuddering, his eyes closed tightly in contemplation...
"Yeah....yeah. I did." Che responded with haste to keep Kate quiet. The last thing she needed to do right now was speak for that was only a waste of energy. When she spoke up again, the elder Owl didn't focus his eyes on her. He still couldn't. His disappointment in himself replaced her gaze with a blank. He couldn't bring himself to look at her....yet. When the process of wrapping was done, Che looked at his sleeves, then traced them to the top of Kate's head. Like her, they were torn, grazed by gunfire and rendered almost useless for their cause. A heavy sigh crossed Che's lips before he lifted Kate's eyes to his...her stare at first seared like a cattle brand against his spirit and pride, but he fought through it just as she had fought through so much herself. Before lifting Kate from the ground to start his trek to some type of safety, Che placed a fond, lengthy kiss atop the Russian's pale, cold lips. Her body was brought close to his to both show his affection and to keep her from growing anymore colder than she had become. If this was Che's last sign of a promise, then so be it. There still had to be a way to lead his teams to victory and he knew he could do it here starting with Kate, one of his driving forces. "I'm going to get you and the rest of us out of here, alright? Even if it kills me dead..."

((I'll put Lucien's post into this in a little bit.))
Adam nudged awkwardly as the gravity pushed in on him. He twisted his arm upward creating a repulsion field around himself. releasing him from the gravity. He stared at her gaping arm wound, shaking his head a little he walked towards her, but he did not attack. "This is what we've done." He whispered lightly. He looked around him, feeling the wind blowing through his hair as it whipped through the silent ruins. It was the silence, the pure, climactic silence that finally hit him. "For centuries we've watched this world. Always focusing on the bad. Never once did we stop to enjoy what was good in this world." He looked towards the blue girl, her arm awash in blood from the wound. "With a wound like that you'll probably never have proper control of your hand again." It was never his intention to win in this way he still had no intention of losing but he liked to end things quick. "Girl. Don't think to harshly of us. We see the world through different eyes. What you see as monstrous, and unforgivable we see as necessary. It's hard to look at the bigger picture when an event affects you, I use to be just like you. When I first became a herald I was young, I wanted to help people, save the lives of the people we were sworn to protect. It's not easy always being the ones that are blamed for every natural disaster that occurs on the planet. I suppose I have been less tenative in my work." He mentioned this because there were no recent meteor strikes that made any sort of actual impact, infact for the majority of Earth's existance his element has done relatively little, aside from a large meteor here, an earth shattering ateroid that made the moon there but nothing as of late. "I would pass my title on, like L I would do it willingly if I saw someone that could match my power. You're not up to it and you're supposedly one of the best gravity manipulators. If you can't handle my position then no one in this generation will."

When Che didn't say anything right away, Kate frowned ever so slightly given her condition. She did not protest as he pulled her closer and began to bandage her wounds. Kate winced a little as Che tightened his shirt sleeves as makeshift bandages over her wounds. She coughed back another cough as well. It bothered her immensely that he wouldn't even look at her. But then again she really did look awful and obviously in terrible shape. As Che applied the makeshift bandages, Kate just barely noticed his hands shaking. She did not say anything about it though because she was still catching her breath from speaking just a few moments ago. Also, the deep worry in his eyes spoke volumes to her right now.
Kate was relieved when Che finally answered her statements. This meant that he wasn't entirely unable to speak to her. She would have said something else as she was finally able to speak a little bit after catching her breath earlier, but Che was already finally looking at her because he had turned her head towards him. His gaze told Kate all she needed to really know at that point: his fear, worry, frustration, and sadness too. It was at that point that Kate wanted to say something to try to let Che know that this was not his fault that she had been shot, but couldn't because her own ability for speech was lost at this point. She just felt so weak from how close she was to death once again in her lifetime that the energy was just not there.
All she could manage as Che pulled her close and kissed her was to move her hand up to Che's face. Of course the hand she had moved was the one she had touched her shoulder wound with so Che might end up with some of Kate's blood on her face. But at this point, it didn't really matter. All that did matter at the moment was that she was back with Che. Even though she might never admit to it out loud to anyone, Kate didn't want to be left cold and alone while she was dying. So Kate felt safe and warm where she was in Che's arms. even as she leaned her head against Che's shoulder. She even hadn't realized that she was even cold until Che lifted her up. The coldness was something that came as someone died, and Kate had experienced it before. One thing Kate knew was that that cold feeling as death came was not something she ever wanted to experience again.

Cecilia stood her ground, clutching her arm. The gouge in her flesh was so deep that bits of muscle tissue and bone could be seen. A wave of nausea from both the loss of blood and the pain she was experiencing washed over her, but her expression did not reveal this pain. She refused to give Adam the satisfaction of seeing her in an extreme amount of pain, nor did she back away. Despite the fact that her heart was beating rapidly, she would not falter. She would see this fight to the end. Cecilia had always mentioned that if she had to die, she wanted to depart from this world fighting with everything she had. In a strained tone, she spoke. "What makes you think I want such a position? I am not fighting you for your title. Yes, I could have tried to run when you first attacked me, but that is something I've never believed in. I've never believed in running away." Her breathing became heavier and it became harder for her to speak. Yet she wasn't willing to go down so easily. "I do not want to think harshly of you nor the other Heralds. I realize that sacrifices must be made in order to succeed at times, but there are still things you have done that I cannot condone." Blood from her wound dripped onto the ground. "I may be injured, but do you think I'm going to allow that to stop me?" Thrusting her uninjured arm forward, she created a powerful force of gravity, sending it towards him at breakneck speeds that the strong push would send him careening into the buildings which were behind him.

Adam was thrown backwards by her sudden assault. He flipped through the backwards pull when his body neared a building he flipped so he was flying feet first. Instantly he canceled out the gravitational wave right at the point of impact allowing him to simply stand on the building's wall. He stared towards Cecilia, the Gravity herald was not without patience afterall. As he walked towards the ground he stepped onto the ground and gazed towards Cecilia. "I don't even have to fight you. With that wound you'll bleed out on your own. I just have to wait until you become cyanotic and pass out." Walking forward back towards her Adam stood a good fifteen feet away, as oposed to the only couple he was last time. "Oh we've done things you can't condone? I would expect no less." He turned his eyes towards the horizon for a fwe moments, just staring into the endless zone.
"You inadvertantly want the position. It's not that you want to be the gravity herald, but you want power. Power to protect Roulin, power to never abandon him. As the Life Owl he will no longer age, unfortunately without some manner of living, such as a deal with that Eternity Owl perhaps? No she's far to high strung, or maybe The Radiant Owl? No she's never been one to deal out eternal life. Well I suppose that leaves you with only one option. To become a herald, if you do that you and Roulin can step into eternity together, forever in peace. However, without that you will grow old, decay and when you die Roulin will move on, don't get me wrong it's not that he doesn't love you but with an eternity it's rather hard to forever stay attached to one person. Dante is a good example of this he had many families over his formerly eternal lifespan." He ran his fingers through his hair before continuing. "My point stands, if someone, an Owl that is unfamiliar with my powers were to take my position it would be like handing the trigger to a nuclear missile to a child. The same is true of all Heralds, no one but someone governed with our power their entire life can handle it."

Cecilia's injured arm hung limply at her side, trying to move it even the slightest centimeter caused agony to shoot, not only up her arm, but throughout her entire body. She let out a weak laugh and shook her head. "Do you really think I care about eternal life? Yes, I realize that Roulin has an infinite lifespan. I realize that without any of the three options that you mentioned, I will die while he lives on. I refuse to live forever while those around me that I care about die out. Yes, I do want a life with Roulin, but what is the point of having a life with him if I cannot forever enjoy it with my friends? Eternal life? No...I was only given a certain amount of time in this world. When it is time for me to pass on to the next world, I will gladly move forward, but only after I have taken my last dying breath." The cold wind that danced around them lifted her silver hair about her face as she looked forward towards Adam. Death was a possibility and she could feel the icy coldness of its hands reaching out towards her, wanting to claim her for its own. "Enough talking. I will not waste words with you while you wait for me to drop at your feet so that you can kill me with ease. If I have to go down, I would rather go down fighting, and not with words either. So if you are going to attack me, do so now."

Adam blinked, a little suprised by her reaction. it started with a smirk, which grew into a chuckle and continued to grow until he was laughing. When he stopped he clapped his hands lightly. "Well now that was an interesting response. You alone may be able to sway me on this topic Cecilia, but you're correct we cannot keep this talking up. As much 'fun' as it would be to sit here and watch you bleed out I'm afraid neither of us have that time to spare." He snapped his fingers as the gravitational pull around him began to spin, which caused the ground around him to sink down in a perfect spiral shape. Staring forward he mouthed a couple words to himself and continued with his preparations.
"Gravity, it's the endless constant that draws two objects together." He waved his hand as the gravitational pull that was given off by Cecilia's body was magnified to the right, what this meant was that the object closest to her right and herself would collide together, in this case it was an over turned car. Adam all the while had inadvertantly nullified the field of gravity in the surrounding area that wasn't directly involved in the attack, objects began to float aimlessly in the air. While his attack was continuing Adam reached over, flicking a now floating chunk of cement. "'An object in motion stays in motion, until acted upon by another force.' wasn't that about the gist of what Newton claimed? Clever man, he explained it so well." With gravity now nullified on the area once an object was moved it would continue to move until it hit something else, the sheer weightlessness.

Without the use of her right arm, Cecilia was greatly crippled in this body for she needed the use of all her limbs for most of her attacks. Cecilia felt herself being magnified towards the right by a gravitational pull given off by Adam. At the same time, a wrecked car was also being pulled in her direction. If the two collided, not only one, but both would be crushed under the sheer force. Lifting her uninjured arm, she created a gravitational push that would repel the car away from her and prevent her from meeting her end so quickly. Yet, out of the corner of her eyes, she glimpsed that a large chunk of cement had been sent towards her as well. Thrusting her hand forward, she unleashed a powerful cosmic orb of energy towards the large concrete rock. Even though she had managed to break it apart into smaller pieces, the chunks still grazed her skin and one slightly larger chunk pierced her lower side breaking two of her ribs and shot out of the lower left part of her back. The Cosmic Owl began to cough up blood, her wound leaking blood in almost dangerous amounts. Her body was now covered in many deep cuts from the impact of the small chunks of concrete that had grazed her. Cecilia spat a stream of blood out of her mouth.

Danny blinked as she reached for him wincing slightly before noticing the stone in his chest as she touched it. he was still wary of people touching him, despite how comfortable he now felt with Nika and Neah. he felt pain as she removed the concrete from his chest, but it vanished almost instantly as his body returned to its usual health. "thanks"he breathed, and stiffly reached to catch her as she stumbled breathing lightly as she wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Physical touch made him nervous from every living thing apparently, but for his injured friend Nika he did his best to settle. She had broken ribs which could cause more damage if not treated he noted taking information from the dead which consisted of doctors as well as nurses, anything he needed to know medically he had access to, stiffly he wrapped his own arm around her and helped her to walk turning slightly red as she leaned into him for support, her rasping breath however made him worry, "Nika... are you sure you are okay?" he asked slowly moving her to the nearest door and opening it to let out some of the dead stuck behind it and help Nika into the now empty room, "sit here ill see what i can find to help!" he said as he left her in a chair and ran up the apartment stairs to see what kind of medicine and or bandages he could find for her, there wasn't much they could do about broken ribs or a punctured lung unless they could find a healer, but he hoped to at least lessen the pain for her... he figured he could do that much for her, after all she had done for him, if worse came to worse he could try surgery himself, but frankly he was to scared of that idea of manipulation to try it. trotting back down to the waiting area he brought Nika an ice pack or two, and a bottle of painkillers that the doctor in his head recommended. "only one for the next few hours Nika, they say it is easy to overdose with these..." he said keeping quiet about the part where the medicine would knock her unconscious till she felt the need for another dose.

Che kept his forehead pressed against Kate's in a loving manner after their lips slowly parted. The amount of moments in Che's life where things seemed to just click to him were extremely few and far in between. The sight of the dying woman cradled protectively in his arms through brought him into another one of those moments. Among to war, the injustice, the prejudice and the hatred, Che at this juncture, found himself able to think clearly and rationally even by passing the whispering voices that echoed from his cards in his head. Wanting the dark and injured woman to hear his thoughts, Che kept himself close to her. Kate was unable to hear the machinations of Che's mind due to him lacking the necessary power, but the man was sure that if she could, she'd smile like she'd never smiled before.
The side of the elder Owl's face was now dampened with the blood of his cohort. When she lowered her hand, it simply trailed leaving a thick red line from his short side burn to his bare chin. As nice as it was to have her return her affection with a caress, she still needed to keep still to conserve energy. Che himself needed to get a move on. The first person on his list was Will. He was sure if anyone knew of Thomas's treachery by now, it was him. From their, he'd find Roulin and Moli. Hopefully Cecilia would be nearby and so would Nik and the Poison Owl, Anya. Herald's needed to be avoided at all costs, so he'd only give off minimal amounts of aura in the form of Fenn's vision and Jesse Owen's superspeed. The Mastering Owl leaned away from Kate and prepared his powers. The whipping winds would n** at the woman's already chilled body, but Che simply knew the faster he got to Will, the faster he could get help for both Kate and his mission.
~~~
Moli had managed to keep himself away from Herald activity using techniques his father showed him. Aura suppression and walking had to be the two best ways. Aeon was in tow, but even still their combined aura when put together while suppressed, was still almost unnoticeable. After period of walking and placing head shot after head shot on Owl after Owl, he came across another battle with a man dressed in white and some white haired girl. Moli's eyes lowered in annoyance...he didn't want to fight anymore right now, so his first response was to turn away and leave. It was when the girl spoke though that made him reconsider his choice. "Ce--Cecilia? And that's...a ******** Herald...oh my god..." Moli almost fell to his knees when he realized who it was. It was Adam, the Herald of Gravity and the youngest Herald of them all. From the looks of it, the man seemed to have the sheer upper hand here as Cecilia's body was batter and beaten. Part of shoulder was injured so badly, that the dark red of her muscles beneath were exposed. From just how she spoke alone, he could see that she was in need of help and a lot of it.
"Aeon....hold on please. There's something I have to do..." Moli was sure that if this moment was whiffed, Roulin would lose his girlfriend to the hands of the relentless Herald. As Adam and Cecilia had their back and forth, Moli began to take aim with his index finger, but he didn't charge an attack. That would've just given him away due to the light and the sound. When Adam prepared his final attack, Moli would unleash a beam of light he could only hope would damage the Herald enough so that Cecilia could escape or something.
Khalifa Marcellus
Having appeared along side Roulin and the rest of the Four Suits including Moli and Aeon, Khalifa stood not to far from the rest of his team had with his eyes glowing their Azure color, he was scanning his surrounding area in search for any Owls to either approach them or try to help Raven but as of now he was rather bored being that it seems all the Owls were either busy or to scared to attack. With his energy sensing ability at its max at this point to cover a wider range but what he felt next was all bad, he felt one enormous energy suddenly appear which could only belong to that of an Herald, though before he notify any of his teammates Cecilia was attacked and before he could do anything about she was already seriously injured and now it was time for him to step in and help her. He knew Roulin wouldn't forgive him if he stood idly by as Cecilla was killed, Khalifa took notice to Moli preparing to help Cecilla just as he was about to so he kept that in mind for a strategy as he then used his Owl ability to reduce himself to the point where his figure could no longer be seen. Khalifa took this time to create a copy of himself at the same size would take his place in distracting Adam while he got Cecilla out of there, the identical copy of him then teleported, it then appeared before Adam though he wouldn't have known.
The copy charged it's fist with a large amount of energy before taking a stance and returned to its normal size, the moment it had immediately went on the attack not giving Adam time to react in the slightest. With him being a boxer he had took an unusual stance, his right arm being dropped to his midsection with it being his leading arm, the copy now began jabbing with his right more like a whip in comparison, this was known as a flicker jab and with his increased speed and strength making it that much dangerous and harder to read the trajectory while the explosive energy would release a concussive pulse of his energy rather they landed or not at this point was meaningless as he was only trying to set up Moli's attack which he knew Moli would know to fire once Adam was distracted for it was only a copy and he just as easily dodged the attack in time since he knew it was coming. All the while the real Khalifa had teleported beside Cecilla and returned to his actual size, mind you that this copy had a mind of its own only linked to Khalifa in a hive mind effect so his attention was on the sapphire woman as he knelled beside her and tried to figure out how he could help her. "Cecilla, are you alright?" He knew it was a stupid question to ask but he needed to know if she was at least stable for the time being.
(Edit, Cecilia wasn't moved)
((TFP---Raven))
The blonde haired female found herself tutting in annoyance when her attack made contact with the Italian who seemed to have messed up on how he would evade the cannon ball style shockwave. Raven’s back was facing the direction in which the bright light had occurred, even with her plain normal eyes she would have been able to see a small amount of the bright light. Raven stepped forth as Roulin was forced into a forward flip by the French woman’s attack before he collided with the ground in a cringe worthy way. The blonde female smiled kindly yet creepily as she closed the distance at which they fought only stopping when she was certain the distance between them would be accurate enough to deliver the best of her shockwave power. Her eyes were trained directly upon the raven haired male, waiting for him to rise up and continue this game of life and death. If he were to remain on the floor Raven would blast him out of her sight and end up feeling quite disappointed.
Roulin however, did rise back up onto his feet. Raven’s smile widened but she kept the subtle hint of seriousness hidden directly behind her eyes. “Come Roulin, surly you won’t keep showing off that healing power of yours.” Raven muttered in a chiding manner as the Italian man righted himself and stared directly…. through her? “Hmm?” The blonde female narrowed her eyes, squinting somewhat to make out Rou’s face more clearly through the dust that now drifted in the air due to Raven’s last attack and Roulin’s totally ungraceful landing. “Your eyes…” Gone was usual spark of fire that was usually present in the Italians’s eyes and in its place was now nothing but a dying ember in the midst of dense fog. Quickly hitting the replay button Raven went back over what had just occurred. Roulin at first had seemed very much ready for her shockwave. But, in the last moment...he had closed his eyes, which quite possibly meant, something had happened in that short moment that screwed over the Italians eye sight. “The..”
The Quaking Owl stared right on back and let out a small mocking laugh and shook her head a few times “You wish to continue fighting like that?” She took another few steps forwards but she knew that in his current state the young Italian would be using any power he had to sense her every movement. “Hmph, with the amount of pride you have I would only assume your answer to my question would be yes.” Raven slid one foot back until she was in her usual defensive stance. She no longer needed or wanted to say anything else on the annoying matter. She held out both her arms and concentrated for a few seconds before moving them in such a way that she created a shockwave on the shape of an X. The body of this shockwave was thin and just as sharp as her crescent moon shockwaves. The only difference was the size and doubled power behind it. She was not ready for this fight to end…and she was quite sure Rou felt the same way. With her jaw set, Raven lurched forwards into a run, heading directly for Roulin in the wake of her shockwave.
((TFP---Serena))
Serena frowned slightly when Will retold the time Serena had lied to Daryle and the pair had ended up in a really strange fight after the truth came out. What the lie had been was for another time. Right now Serena was more interested in that what this so called surprise was that Will had planned. “Yes I do say so” Serena said as she backed up her previous statement about the Fallen Phoenix being different from their selves. The white haired female was about to press Will for more information when she noted a scowl upon his face. She opened her mouth to ask if there was something wrong but was beaten to it when the Satan Owl said she had to get going. “Company you say?” One glance downwards towards the street left Serena cursing.
Turning on her heel, the Vanishing Owl approached the fire exit door and booted it open with one neatly placed kick. “It seems our little reunion has been cut short. And don’t worry, I will still be waiting to hear what this surprise is that you mentioned.” She shrugged her shoulders and turned to glance over at the Satan Owl. Letting out a slight sigh she held up one hand in goodbye “Until we meet again, Kitten~” Serena laughed as she made a swift exit from the rooftop and the building. She needed to locate Kojiro and do what Will had said. Get their asses out of there….
((UNS---Daryle))
“Ah but AnnieBear, there is always time for singing” Daryle laughed in attempt to lighten the current mood, but he knew that it would take more than a carefully chosen song sang in his own kind of style. “Listen Annie, I need you to stick with me at all times. There are some very very bad people running around and they will kill you before you can say hi!” He pointed to the back of his head where there was dried blood clinging to his blonde locks. “One even smacked me on the back of my head with a plank of wood!” The Breezy Owl was pretty sure that he would not get any sympathy from Annie until all this was over. “I reckon now if the best time for you to experience Daryle Express Airways!” He puffed out his chest and picked Annie up bridal style and gave her the biggest grin he could muster.
Putting on a fake voice Daryle began to run through the flight rules and procedures that were laid down when you were traveling on an aircraft. “Should you require any assistance just hit the button directly above you; of course this plane does not have that feature, so you will have to make do with yelling in the ear. Should you begin feeling sick I would suggest you inform the captain immediately….We hope you have a safe and pleasant flight.” After doing a lousy mock-up of the rules, Daryle broke out into a very fast sprint before taking off upwards into the air. “Relax and enjoy the ride, Anniebear~”
