Inside, Alex let out a triumphant smirk as she continued to whimper on the outside, finally looking up as she had a single tear slide down her face.

"...I don't even know what I did to make him hate me so much."

Both Slade and Morris began to beat the ever-living s**t out of Nathan...

Alex just leaned her head on Trig's shoulder.

"Why does he hate me, Uncle Trig..?"  

[Zahzi]

"...You know that was just mean, right..?" Trig asked, clearly not falling for her trick.

Alex could only give a small smirk.

"He needs it..."  

[Zahzi]

"He's the result of having your family die when you're an infant. Take it easy. He didn't have someone like your old man to watch over him."

"Slade and Brad turned out differently."

"From what we learned, they had King. Nathan only had himself."

"A child can't possibly raise itself. Not out here."

"He did. Yet he chose to ignore the vices that claim so many others."
