What about its mannerisms? If you listen carefully you can actually make out what he's saying most of the time, and he's very angry. All the time. Unless he's burning people, in which case he's happy. For example, http://tf2wiki.net/w/images/6/67/Pyro_standonthepoint01.wav^ always sounded like "GET TO THE POINT, YA f*****t" to me. Doesn't particularly strike me as something a woman would say.
