High School Secrets (Anime XOver) Open

Kagome frowned to herself and forced herself to her feet, stumbling a bit. "InuYasha's stubbornness must be rubbing off on me . . ." she muttered to herself.

InuYasha growled in irritation, hearing what she muttered, glaring at her from the sidelines.  

[Kyriod]

Growlmon nodded and swung his tail at her once more, positioning his feet correctly so he could get a good deal of force behind it.

Kagome turned and held out her hand, a pinkish glow surrounding it. She then focused her energy outwards and a force flowed like a wind from her body to stop the tail.  

[Kyriod]

He turned his head, flames being conjured up in his mouth. He shaped and compacted the flames, readying himself to fire at her.

Kagome's legs were shaking from trying to keep herself up, but she refused to give up. She looked up and saw the attack Growlmon was charging up. In turn, she pulled out an arrow and aimed it up to parry the attack, her spiritual energy flaring around the arrow as she struggled to keep herself standing.

InuYasha growled protectively, not liking that Kagome was fighting.

Kagome pulled out an arrow and strung it into her bow. It glowed pink as she aimed it at Growlmon and then let it fly.

Miroku finished his prayer and looked up at Vergil. "We don't wish to-" but he was cut off as Sango walked forward.

"Kirara and I will fight." she said, glaring at Vergil. "And you'll learn that just because a human and a demon fight as partners, it does not mean that the demon is a pet." she said and then threw her boomarang straight at Vergil. "HIRIKOTSU!"

"puh...working together....."Vergil side stepped just as the massive boomerang spun by,he grabbed it with his left hand.he allowed the weight of the object spin him around just as Sango came back into view and released the behemoth boomerang back Sango,now traveling twice as fast

Sango dodged her boomerang, drawing her sword, and ran at Vergil, Kirara charging along beside her.

Vergil shook his head,the smile still glued to his face"crossing swords would only be the quickest way to die......especially with me little girl"there was a quick flicker of light,Yamato suddenly back in it's sheath with Vergil's hand still close by.a brief moment had passed before Snago's sword broke in half,or cut in half to be precise"you don't seem to learn very fast.......that must be another human trait you all share"

Growlmon took aim not at her, but at the ground inbetween them and released the ball of fire, planning to hit her indirectly with the force of the blast instead of directly.

Kagome aimed her arrow to where it would intercept the attack and let it fly, in doing so, releasing the last of her energy and falling, unable to hold herself up any longer.

InuYasha, seeing Kagome fall, raced over and caught her before she could hit the ground and jumped out of the way quickly. "That's enough!" he growled, holding Kagome protectively, noticing that she had fallen unconsious. She had used too much of her energy.

Sango froze mid step as her sword broke. Kirara growled and then gestured backwards with her head towards where the Hirikotsu had embedded itself into a tree. Sango nodded and ran to get her weapon out of the tree while Kirara continued her charge, her claws and fangs bared as she attacked Vergil.

Vergil shielded his face from Kirara's fangs and claws with his arm.he looked up at his arm,the demon's fangs had gone completely through his arm"hehehehe....what did you expect to accomplish out of this.....worthless thing"he drove the butt end of Yamato into the ribcage of Kirara with his free hand"you should learn to back down like the week littler vermin you are"a bright white light coated his arms and legs,a set of glowing gauntlets and shin guards appeared"now get lost"he then jerked his arm away from Kirara and then drove his knee up into Kirara a repeated number of times
(ya think Miroku would have already joined in)

"Kirara!" Miroku yelled with concern and threw his sacred sutras at Vergil, running into the fight as well.

Kirara did not loosen her grip on Vergil's arm. That is, until he kneed her one time too many and she let go stumbling back and changing.

Sango saw this and her eyes widened. "Kirara!" she yelled in concern, giving up trying to get her boomarang out of the tree. Instead running to the, now kittenish, Kirara, picking her up gently and glaring at Vergil.

"Sango, get Kirara out of here!" Miroku said, worried about his friend's health.  

[Kyriod]

They both gave a nod, and Growlmon de-digivolved back into Guilmon. "

Sakura dared to come over to Inuyasha and Kagome, now that it seemed that thier fighting was over. She still didn't know what events had led up to their fighting, but was glad to see it was over.

Vergil chuckled yet again,his right hand began to glow with a bright light"is that all you have?tiny slips of paper?!you truly are a poor excuse for a human...AND a challenge" he lifted up his glowing hand and released a small ball of energy,the ball may be small but it traveled fast and if it hit....well,there won't be much left of Miroku
