Anya scowled at Nik as he told her to stay put. She was about to tell him she had no intention of fighting anyone in her condition. Anya knew her limitations when it came to fighting... usually, that is. At last, she finally just gave in. It didn't look like Nik was going to let her do anything until she was healed anyway. "Ugh! Fine! I'll stay here then..." she grumbled a reply, turning her head to look in the opposite direction from Nik. She was not happy about being confined to a bed. She didn't even turn to look as Nik disappeared to go find someone that he thought could help get her back on her feet. "Dammit... So overprotective..." Anya growled under her breath in annoyance. Once Nik was finally gone, Anya decided she could at least try to sit up. Nik couldn't yell at her if she didn't try to stand. As long as she stayed on the shadow bed, she should be free from him telling her to stop moving. He didn't have any right to do so in the first place, but whatever. Anya slowly sat up, ignoring the pain from her stomach and leg. Once seated, Anya took some deep breaths. to relax herself. She didn't know what to do with herself now.

===

When the hoped for assurance from Che came, Kate was relieved. Even though her expression clearly showed the pain she was in physically, Kate still had a tiny, almost imperceptible smile on her lips. It was mostly covered by every other emotion and physical pain she was in at the time. But Che may or may not be able to tell that the smile was there. His reaction and reply was enough to let her know that he had understood what she had meant even with the odd phrasing she had used. Closing her eyes, Kate could not do anything but stay where she was now. Not that she really wanted to move away from Che at this point anyway. She couldn't even speak right now even if she wanted to because of how much she had already used her voice in the last hour in the condition she was in. After she felt Che kiss her on the forehead the second time, Kate tried to re-open her eyes again. But this time, she found that she could not do so. Her body must have been so weak that she couldn't work basic muscles in her face to open and close her eyes now. Her brow furrowed in her worry. Was she really going to die this time? Granted she was happy now, but Kate had no intention of dying now that she finally found someone who cared enough that she existed. The Eternity Owl was not ready to give in to death just now. Not at all like she had felt years ago when she tried to take her own life. A small shudder went through her body with this realization. But she believed that Che would definitely find a way to get her to a survivable condition.

Sabrina's armor began to decompose as she looked at Thomas. The son of a b***h was was annoying her, him and his power of negation. She could feel the affects of his negation taking a hold of her, she would soon have to change forms in order for this fight to continue. The atmosphere she had created for them to fight in began to to push its last round of effectiveness.

Utilizing the light she was able to store the energy from the sun. Her body emitted a large glow as she began to run in a higher speed as she released a set of thorns from her body and vines began to to rise up to try and attack Thomas. While that was going on her body began to emit a wave of solar energy as it began to break down the forest she had created as it was rushing towards Thomas.

Sabrina was pushed backwards from the release as the rock formation swallowed her whole body and enclosed her body. The ground began to shake, as Sabrina was going from one form to the next. From nature to sheer rock. This stage was primarily a defensive stage where her physical body would be enhanced and strength but her movement would be slow. Rocks began to pile upon the rock pod where her body was as it began to grow larger and larger until it began to take form of a huge golem that stood several feet tall. Raising her left heavy arm she slammed it into the ground as torrents of rock spikes rose flowing like snakes, adding on to the rock like structure, attempting to entrap Thomas. Unlike her primary form, this was a mere way to take some hits while also resting.

((TFP---Raven))

The French woman cocked an eyebrow when Roulin summoned forth what appeared to be paper. Apparently this was going to act like his amour, an interesting power and an interesting way of using it. Now it was just a matter of seeing how much this amour if his could stand. Well, he can rest assured that in the hands of Raven it will be tested thoroughly. Raven took note that he had only covered his upper body with the layers of paper, while his lower half remained being protected by a pair of trousers and nothing more. Most people may have already decided that that was the area they would concentrate on, not Raven though, her attacks were going to be aimed at the Life Owl’s upper body. Although, depending on the size of the shockwaves she used would play a huge part in what part of Roulin’s body would be affected.

It seemed Roulin had noted Raven’s change in demeanour and taken into account that she was no longer interested in playing games for the Italian proceeded to lunge towards Raven like a blood thirsty panther. The currently white haired female summoned up a shockwave to deflect the annoying pieces of ground, rock and gravel which had flown at her courtesy of Roulin. Speaking of which, he was still coming at her with razor sharp claws. Raven knew better then to stand around when there was an angry cat baring its teeth and nails, so when the distance between the two was only mere metres, Raven evaded any form of contact by side stepping and releasing a shockwave which would act as the scratch post in her place.

As much as it would be fun to remain close Raven knew it could never work out. Not in her favour anyway. So she acted fast and sprinted further away. Once at a good enough distance, Raven propelled herself upwards into the air and turned herself round to face down at Roulin. Not even a smile would grace her features at this point, smiling would come later when Roulin was dead. She held out both hands and fired off a few small shockwaves. It was not often that the sky rained partially invisible forces that could shatter a person’s bone on contact.

((NPC---Deimos))

Through the dust, smoke and fire stepped forth a brown haired man who appeared to be in his early twenties. His black eyes were listless and dull even though he wore a smile. Glancing around at the carnage, Deimos breathed in deeply, savouring the smell of blood and fear that came with the lung full he had inhaled. “Slaughter he says….Ha…hahahhahahaha! YOU HAVE IT WILLIAM! I WILL SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!!!” He cackled madly like he was some mental patient had just escaped some high security compound… “Let’s play!!!” His pale fingers were wrapped tightly around two long black swords. Each blade perfectly crafted until they were efficient enough for the likes of Deimos.

Cackling still, Deimos raised one blade upwards and the other across his front. He took aim at his very first target with all the cunning of a demon. Dei threw his right hand downwards slicing the poor woman from her head to her waist, while the second sword was played a split second later, cutting deeply into the woman’s flesh from one hip to the other. The female crumpled to the floor spewing blood all over Deimos and the cold concrete where she now rested. Dei licked his pale lips as his eyes narrowed in frustration. “Not enough! WHERE ARE THE ONES WHO CAN FIGHT?!” He looked around frantically and half crazed until he spotted more people. Surly one of them could prove fun….

Nikolai grinned when the girl said she could heal, he nodded once before saying, "Alright, be right back, don't go anywhere." Nik then sank into his shadow, noticing Anya sitting up and looking stubborn, he walked over and said, "Alright, found a healer. Let's go." He manipulated the shadows and pulled Anya out of his shadow along side him as gently as he could manage. Coming up right where he left the girl, he gently set Anya down in front of her and said, "Alright kid, work your magic." Nik hoped that the girl could heal Anya like she said, it would make Anya stop complaining, but it wouldn't stop her being stubborn and going to fight Raven again.

Timothy's hand met his cheek and lightly, it rubbed the area that Will had slapped him. It stung only because Will had the strength of his title backing him....that goddamn devil. Somewhat, the Herald's pride was dented, but he regained his composure and stood by as Will came at him. Timothy had no idea why Will had entered his other form yet, but it mattered not because he hadn't either. That only meant that he either wanted to drag this fight out and savor it like the greedy little devil he was, or he wanted to buy Che some time to escape. Allowing his gaze to escape the Satan Owl for only a moment, he noticed Che was out of sight...

The blonde devil's uppercut was briskly evaded, but barely. Timothy and Will were two of the fastest Owls around so the Spectral Owl had to remain on his toes if he intended on keeping his chin attached to his face. "If I succeed, something will change. You'll be dead baka!" Timothy's counter saw him pushing forward off of his back foot and throwing an electrically charged punch at the blonde devil's face.

Che had managed to sail through the steel, concrete and cobblestone remains of what was now the lost city of Rome. The Mastering Owl felt a tinge of disappointment fall over him like a thick blanket. One of the holiest cities on the eastern hemisphere was destroyed by Owls and humans alike. And now that Raven was about, they would only fight and fight until they couldn't anymore. Most Owls that did fight to their bitter end would explode after a series of postmortem nuclear reactions. The situation was a quagmire now and Che only wished to leave it behind and try another strategy later on. Timothy had taken out the UNS building Che was aiming to raid as a part of his sick forced ultimatum, so while that was a positive, it was a negative as well. The Herald would just be after him again. His friends, his family, and the woman gradually losing life in his arms.

Just on the horizon was the fight of the century. His son against his used to be schoolyard bully of an opponent Catherine aka Raven. Upon nearing, Che's speed in flight seemed to slow. He was passing into an area dense with animosity, tension and aura. Each Owl's drive to win was almost palpable...thanks to Fennel's power, he could very well see the amount of energy they were giving off. Che knew better than to even think of interfering with this. Roulin could handle it. He was a goddamn Presidiomni after all and he had his Life Owl powers running on max. Taking perch atop a building, Che took a seat and from there scanned the area looking for anything that looked like a healer...his son whom he needed direly was far too busy trying to put Raven away.

Moli could feel the weight and pressure on his back and knees increase thanks to Cecilia's body trying to accept it's new role and abilities. It was far too much for the girl to absorb and take in at once, and if kept up, a black hole would be made that would tear away the Earth itself. This wasn't going to work and Lomoli, being the true thinker of the Presidiomnis, knew this. Cecilia had to calmed somehow, but how? Thinking back to the talks both he, Aeon, Cecilia and Roulin would have, he remembered she had a adverse reaction to photokinetic abilities. "Oh my god man.....what do I do?! C'mon, I can't let you die!!" He didn't know if they'd kill her outright or just stop her powers, but something had to be done and fast. The half-focused, half-panicked blonde had an idea.

Moli enveloped his hand in a glove of light. If he was right, then simply touching her and hold on would deactivate her power at some point. He'd have to let go once it became a threat to her being of course. Lifting his hand to hers which now felt as though it weight at least thirty times it's weight, he took grasp of it and clutched tightly. If need be, he'd concentrate his energy more, but he prayed it wouldn't come to that. Now Rome was destroyed, all landmarks blown away and their was a nice sinkhole to mark the death of the youngest Herald. For ages and ages, this fight will be remembered. If not by those who fought it, then by those who were lucky enough to witness it.

~~~
Roulin's armor was steady loading like data into an active program. Slowly, the process was moving along it's not-so-brisk path, but now, the paper trail ended at the middle of his thighs. Raven, of course, was not about to give the Life Owl the leeway she would've amiably offered him before she broke out her second source of energy. To Roulin, that was fine. That only meant he would have to be twice as fast in order to evade the white haired subwoofer and her bass filled attacks. Double the threat, double the thrill.
After Roulin's first attempt at clawing his heart out of Raven's chest failed, he quickly pivoted and lowered into a stance of sheer defense. Knees bent, he kept his back leg extended with both his hands clawed at his sides. As if the little woman was his prey, he gazed at her for only a moment, and bared his paper tipped fingers again. Giving no time to the girl, he sprang forward and tore through her dense shockwave with razor sharp claws. By the time he came at her with another swipe, she had already taken flight. Again. Roulin's eyes narrowed once more in thought. That technique had saved her too many times now and while he could fly, he still opted to wait for her landing. Unlike Raven, Roulin was more of a down to Earth person save for the quips and moments of cockiness.
To mix things up, Roulin once again raised a stone slab behind Raven just as he did a while ago. This time, he quickly covered the top of it using a flat, but expansive rendition of his left hand. Just below the woman's feet, he brought out a platform that he hoped would catch her and jar her from whatever strategy she may have had. Roulin was already on his way up to her by this point. From the ground, he created steps that meandered on their way to the white haired vixen. He still had to by pass her other shockwaves somehow. Now that his body was steeped in paper, his speed had nearly doubled thanks to the figure it took. Clutching this opportunity by it's throat, Roulin charged a different, but recycled type shockwave. It was the same elementally charged kind he'd used to severely damage the terrorist leader last time. It wasn't as big as it crafted to fit the area around his fist, but it's power was nearly the same. The shining, burning, distortion which even drew in a few pebbles for elemental measure wasn't aimed to win the fight, but simply to nicely damage his combatant. The attack was double edge though, for it's power when compacted tighter only meant a bigger release for both the attacker and his or her target.
Thomas found himself cursing Lucien and his damned sharing of his ability. Thanks to him, his Negation didn't coagulate as it should've....the Negation that dripped from Thomas was no longer thick like paste, but rather it was soft and far more malleable....like water or something. The elder Owl of Death wasn't to fond of this, but he was reassured that by now, Lucien was having a time with the UNS soldiers and the Russian army that was hunting him like the dog Thomas knew he was on the inside. That idiot kid was in the way verily now and soon, he'd have to be dealt with just like each up and coming Death Owl before him.
One of Sabrina's thorns tore away at Thomas's right side leaving him with only one eye, half a hat and a curvature of missing material that began at his knee. The other hit him at such a speed that it took away his left leg and dropped him. Still though, he wasn't taking much damage from any of this. If anything, the pheromones that she made to slow him were starting to get through his exterior. Thomas, the tough Texan, knew it would take more than this to make him kneel in fatigue.
Sabrina unknowingly found another one of Thomas's weakness...or at least a hindrance to his power. <******** ******** thick a** armor...." Once again, thanks to Lucien, his powers weren't as fast or as acidic as they were supposed to be. From past experiences though, Thomas knew how to deal with the "biggin's" as he eloquently called them. When Sabrina's arm slammed into the ground, Thomas rolled as fast as he could to dodge. Stopping in a kneeling position, he brandished his gun which had been modded thanks to his dark transformation. Now was the time to go on offense. With just six rounds to his name, he evaded the rocks which were to ensnare him and began to run the length of Sabrina's arm. Taking aim, he fired two shots at the Herald's eyes. He needed to stun her and bring her out of her armored form as quickly as possible. Either that or damage her further.
Oh God...Oh God...Was this really happening? Right now, the gravitational destruction was only causing Rome to suffer, but what if it spread to other parts of Italy, or other parts of Europe for that matter? How would it be stopped then? Was this the cause of the massive powers that her body was trying to absorb? It was being unleashed at the same time? How much could her body take before it was torn under the pressure? Turning her eyes, she directed her blurred vision towards Moli, pleading silently for the older brother of Roulin to find a way to help her. Out of the corner of her eyes, she glimpsed a glow upon one of his hands. It became clear what Moli was attempting. She thought back to the conversations that she'd had with Moli, Aeon, and Roulin. At one point she had mentioned, in passing, that she was weak against photokinetic abilities and more often than not, they would nullify her own abilities or greatly weaken them just enough to where they couldn't cause any damage at all depending on how powerful the photokinetic touch was.
Cecilia's body soon felt the prickling sensation that came when one's entire body falls asleep after remaining in one place for an extended amount of time. It wasn't exactly painful, but she did experience some discomfort. But as Moli grasped her hand, she slowly began to feel her mutation slipping slowly and slowly into what could be described as a drug induced sleep. The destruction that was happening around them and within the streets of Rome, ceased, but the damage could not be undone. Yet she knew that if he let go of her, there was a good chance that her mutation might awaken at full force. The dying Cosmic Owl clutched Moli's hand as tightly as she could, which wasn't tight as well given the fact that she was very much weak right now, her body, which normally carried what could be seen as a comforting warmth, was now like ice.
Turning her head weakly, she caught sight of large sinkhole within the earth. Within that sinkhole was the body of who was now the former Herald of Gravity. Cecilia had not woken up with the intentions of fighting such a battle on this day. She had only heard of the Heralds in passing from other Owls who knew more about them that she did. The Cosmic Owl had had no idea that one day, she would become one of them, that she would be responsible for controlling the gravity of this entire planet. If she somehow did manage to live, she would remember this fight for the rest of her life, which would be for an eternity unless she was killed by another force as that seemed to be the only way that Heralds could pass on from this world. Moving her eyes away from the proof of the intense battle that had been fought here, she looked up at Moli. Her life was in his hands now. She was placing her trust in him. Would he succeed in finding help for her?
((UNS - Will))
"Oobaka yarou, that won't help you, you narrow minded spark," the Satan Owl growned back as he shifted and was instead nailed in his shoulder. Will smirked. That was refreshing. The hit. Because the two of them were both electricity users, it just didn't hurt as much as if nonelectricity users were taking the hit. "You're going to have to hit harder than that, Timmy." Stall time. That was the idea. Prevent Tim from getting to Che and hurt Tim a bit. Keep him on low ground so it was harder to see where Che was with all the buildings and dust in the way. The blonde could feel a bunch of people cursing the devil especially from the area where the Vatican was. It was too bad he wasn't the one causing the weight of air to crush the area, but it worked to his advantage. Well, fools could pray to a nonexistant God, and it wouldn't help them.
Will did back up a step or two following impact with his shoulder, but he grabbed Tim's arm and used Tim's forward momentum to execute a motion, the motion to throw Tim over Will's shoulder and have Tim land on his back against the ground. At this point, Will had allowed his hands to become a bit more clawlike, so his hold on Tim may have drawn some blood from the Herald. Once the throw motion was executed, Will would turn to face Tim again though like Tim, he'd be able to sense the other.
Off in the distance, Will could sense the chaos going on caused by his servants. It was all grand for him because the chaos was just feeding his appetite. To add to the chaos, he decided to call forth more of his servants with a simple command that did not need to be verbalized. Join the fun, Tai.
((Oobaka yarou = F***ing idiot))
Sabrina looked at the Thomas as she could only be stationary as of now. As the bullets struck her eyes, the foundation began to quake as well, as dangerous rock formations began to form. Sabrina was still in her golem like form but she could feel herself weakening from it in defense....a large stone structure was now erect where Thomas and Sabrina were fighting.
Apart of her knew it was a fight but she still liked to show off her power over Earth and many places on Earth have her to thank to it's natural beauty...it's wherever she had ever had a fight at. Her rocky shell began to crack as the rocks began to roll down in an avalanche effect as her body was now buried under rubble. The rocks soon began to float into the air as Sabrina's stony exterior was seen. She was now her normal size but had the appearance of living stone.
Kojiro was keeping pace with Serena, he was careful not to step on her heels, leaving him with an awkward stride, as the world continued to spin around him, something clicked as he realized they were fleeing. Kojiro tugged on Serena,"W-Wait! we can't leave!...they are still back there!" he called out, tugging again, he stumbled and lost his footing, losing grip with Serena and stumbling to a stop. Kojiro looked back to where he could hear the fighting, He would not leave his family fighting behind him. Kojiro knew he was not the strongest of the group but he had to remain responsible and at least be there to help where ever he could.
A bolt of lightnign appeared,and in an instant, a dark shadow was now in the area it struck,"...Now....What does that Demon want to waste my energy...on..." his words trailed off as he spotted soldiers heading his way,"...Oh...My...it seems as though I have ironically been blessed by the enigmatic Leader of mine...honestly I have been getting tired of paltry servings of weaklings trying to grasp on to their mortality.....but...weak or not....perhaps making them bleed a little will entertain me.." He smiled with a wide grin, he moved like shadow and quickly rushed to the approaching forces,"...He sent that stick in the mud Sebastian before me?!...awww...now thats just hurtful....why does he get to have the fun....no matter...I'll just take it out on them" he hummed in almost a sing-song voice. As he approached the first soldier he stood in front of them,"...Oh...well if it isn't a scary human...here I am....shoot me...I am....a unfuly little pest!" he did not want to speak anymore, his taunting fell on deaf ears, looking at their lost expressions, nobody ever got his sense of humor. He rushed towards his first victim,and in a swift movement, he whipped a small razor from his sleeve, slipping it into the man's torso, then slamming his palm onto the small cut,"....Shh...bleed...." he mumbled, and in an instant the man turned pale. as the color faded from him, and his torso began to swell, right where the palm was, the other soldiers began opening fire on him, some beginning to lash out with their powers, Tai took the rounds and laughed,"...you guys are making too much noise!....you didn't even let me....FINISH!" in another second the victim's body burst, splitting it in half, and crimson tendrils began to whip wildly at the surrounding forces, slashing and lashing at the poor fools in his range. Some fell to pieces, others continued their assault, Tai smirked,"...You brough your toys....now I have mine...ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?!" he called as he sent a crimson spear at one of the fire users.
((TFP---Raven))
Roulin’s razor sharp claws had been able to rip through her shockwave. It was quite impressive, but he would need to be better than that if he were to continue fighting with her. Raven’s face dropped into confusion when a platform was placed just below her feet. Looking up and around she noted the wall and the fact that Rou had covered the top with what appeared to be a hand. This narrowed her escape and pretty much left her trapped like a caged lioness. Raven’s eyes zeroed in on Roulin as he began to head towards her using steps that he had created. “…..” Raven could sense the shockwave that the Italian was charging around his fist, this would be a problem for her if she were to take the punch. Last time the force had sent her crashing back and delivered a nice amount of damage. Damage she could not afford to take anymore off. She needed to think up a way to deflect as much of the damage as possible. Time for thinking was up. Now it was all down to Raven, her power and her ability to react to a situation in an efficient way.
Raven prepared for contact. She summoned forth a shockwave that acted like a second layer of skin, she only hoped this would minimise the damage she received by a decent amount. Next she held up both her hands and brought forth a wall like shockwave, the first part in her defensive action. The next was the shockwave she had charged in the palm of her hand….she planned on releasing that directly at Roulin as soon as her wall was down. Her mind raced into overdrive as her concentration was split between different shockwaves, Roulin and the pain she was expecting to feel when all was over.
Soon enough, her first line of defence was down and out of action. Raven pulled her hand back before pushing it forth once again releasing the condensed shockwave she had had charging there. Her open palm stopped short just before Roulin’s fist, there was no need for them to make contact in that way. Not when the two opposing forces could do it for them. The Fallen Phoenix leader squinted as she held her ground against the pressure that was building between herself and Roulin. It was a matter of mere seconds before the two attacks became unstable and sent each user flying. Raven was going to have a hard time for the wall still remained behind her. Roulin however, had a clear exit. As she had expected, the forces reacted to each other and pretty much exploded outwards in all directions. Raven winced in agony as she was sent flying directly back into the wall with enough force to send her crashing through it.
It almost felt as though she was falling in slow motion…her silverish blue eyes glistened through slits as she stared upwards to where she had just been standing only moments ago. With a sickening thump, Raven’s body touched down on the ground amidst rubble and bits of building debris. She remained still for a while. In fact, she will remain there…let Roulin come to her…
(UNS - Diana Marone)
Sitting while watching the battlefield with Thomas and another she started to sit their having her book open, monitoring the battlefield of people that were suddenly written with names. Healing Thomas of any damage that was dealt she waited for the man to return. Feeling a bit slight headed she started to erase the damages from everyone except the person that Thomas was fighting, after a moments notice the man appeared and had someone placed in front of her. Looking at her she began to place her hand onto her being and began to work her recovering and started to remove all damages that were dealt upon her, now while doing this Diana started to overlap her being and began to heal everything even her clothes. After a short while she sat their breathing in and out. "Your healed Ms. Anya, 100% recovered, plus I took the time to fix your clothes that were probably damaged." as Diana smiled.
The gap between the fallen phoenix and the night owl constricted and closed as Roulin briskly made his way to Raven. When the girl was within his striking range, the Italian prepared for the worst and tossed aside any instance in which he wouldn't take damage. For both faction leaders, it was inevitable and there was no evading it. No more holding back...now was the time to capitalize on the situation he'd created. The young leader threw his guided punch carefully, but with the speed and force of any other punch he'd thrown before. His fist was at first met with a nearly invisible wall. With her options covered, Raven knew she'd need a wall....and where there was a wall, there was always a counter right behind it. Roulin's punch slowed as a result and whether that caused him at least twice the damage he could've inflicted would be a question he'd ponder when the fight was over.
Just as the tactician expected, there was the counterattack. Raven's fist was coiled tightly as if her he life was literally in her hand. It was and Roulin's intention was to break it free one slender little finger at a time. Once again, Roulin's fist was met with another unseen force. Fantastic...something else to mitigate his attack by a trillionth of a percent. Slightly frustrated in the moment, Roulin pushed against the shockwave sheet. Now that he was within a much better range, Raven returned his attack with a shockwave of her own. She didn't connect her's with his which Roulin thought to be clever, but not the best choice. Still, the attack pressed against his chest like anvil and sent him bounding in the opposite direction like a weightless rag doll.
His body was thrown backwards, but not at an angle of any sort. The impact of Raven's shockwave, which carried him for seconds before allowing him to fall off like a fly's remains against a moving car's windshield, shot him away from the white haired girl in a straight path. As much pain as it brought him, he was happy to see that his opposition had taken just as hard a hit as her...maybe even harder. Thanks to his Life Owl Vision, the rubble that would've shrouded her path to a non-Owl didn't hide her agony.
The Italian skipped off of one of his own stepping stones, the grazed the ground before gravity had it's way with him. His shoulder was the first to take the beating, then his arm and side. His body rolled to a nice stop against a large slab of concrete that cracked and crumbled soon after. In his Life Owl form, he was unable to heal at the brisk pace he normally would, so the pain from the numerous impacts settled in before he got up again...once on his feet, he wasted no time in restarting things. Ignoring the pain that made him stumble at first, he lifted his right leg high and coated his shin in a thick grieve of light. With only one plan now, he teleported to Raven's side and dropped his leg with as much force as his muscles would allow. The glistening crescent streak it left behind was only a visual ode to his brother whom taught him the technique.
(Auto hit as per Scythe.)
Timothy far too blinded by just the thought of bringing harm to Will that he hadn't noticed that his attack contained too many holes. One was revealed to him when Will brought him over his shoulder with a grab and pull technique. Thanks to the Owl's rather jagged claws he'd formed beforehand, a bit of blood was freed from the lacerations that were created. Now on the ground again, Timothy found himself aggravated and frustrated. The surge of electricity that spread out beneath him was only a sign. Looking up at Will again, the determined Herald gnashed his teeth and his eyes, with which he used to stare beams of pure hatred into the blonde, whitened to match his pastel hued hair.
With a mighty swing, Timothy's arm slammed into the ground by his side causing a small fist shaped crater to be formed. The muscles in his mid-section burned with effort as he quickly drew his legs upward toward his chin. Rolling backwards into a tightened handstand, Timothy released a horse-like back kick when the angle of his handstand was optimal. The kick was filled with enough force to uplift Will's figure and send him flying into nearby church. It wasn't a big church that garnered the attention of all the liars and sinners in the area, but rather a local one that would fit one hundred at the least. Either way, Timothy was already on his way over to Will. Che could wait and so could his dying little Owl girlfriend.
"Gah.....this woman and her...damn it..." The dark figure of the Death Owl arose from the pile of rocks and stones that nearly buried him when Sabrina's large armor fell apart. Thomas licked his lips when Sabrina arose from the pile of stones. She was a voluptuous woman, yes, but that wasn't the reason why tongue parted his lips like a komodo dragon gathering the scent of it's surroundings. It was because her many forms were rather impressive and intriguing. Because she had so many, the elder strategist had to stay on his toes to combat the girl using his dampened powers. His rank was higher than her's but his strength necessarily didn't have to be.
Four rounds were still contain in his revolver. The hatted demon was assured of this when he opened his gun to reveal the cylinder. Snapping it back, he took off for the Herald once again taking aim and shooting at just her upper body. The armor only made anything lower than her belly a bad place to shoot as the damage would simply be halved. Why not aim just for the vitals? After chewing another wad of his own Negation which would not regain it's rubbery consistency when chewed still, he spat it at the woman's legs. If bullets weren't going to work, then maybe a bit of slow, burning damage would.
Moli released the breath he'd been holding every since he'd taken Cecilia's hand. The girl's power was steadily growing and that would've only spelled destruction for the entire planet. She'd killed Adam, the Herald of Earth. That meant that all of his powers over Gravity drained into her, filling her until spilling over her physical brim. Fearful, Moli knew he had to act and act he did. The girl was now stable and the area was as calm as a theater of war could become. The blonde tactician had saved the day, but not really. If it gave him the courage to actually move towards the real battlefield, he take it and run. After lifted Cecilia in his arms to protect her from harm, he called Aeon who should still be around the buildings behind him to follow. They were now going to find Rou--
A bullet rang off of a downed lamp post and then into the window of a nearly flattened car. Of course Moli at first flinched, but then he began to wonder. Who on Earth would bring a gun to this kind of war? No one was stupid enough to---
"Halt you Owl scum. We are members of the UNS and we are here to take you into custody...or kill you. Are you going to comply with us...Lomoli Presidiomni?"
Goddamn it, the ******** didn't need this right now....like any soldier, he simply wanted to escape with his girlfriend to a place where there wasn't much fighting going on. Instead, he gets an army filled with both humans and Owls? This day couldn't get anymore tedious for the blonde haired, blue eyed man. He nodded to Aeon to take Cecilia and to run as fast as she could away from there. Moli would handle them and return safely. At least he hoped to. "Yeah, I'll comply, but first you have to let my girlfriend and this blue lady here go. She's a human and she....she held her breath too long. And dyed her hair white...cause girls do that kind of thing here in Rome."
Cecilia's powers were still swirling in her very being, they had been sedated only temporarily. There was no way of telling how long it would be before they would resurface nor how long it would be before she was able to control them completely. True, she'd already retained power over Gravity even before the events today unfolded, but the immense power she possessed now had not been within her grasp pre the event. When Moli took her into her arms, she bit her bottom lip in agony, just the tiniest bit of movement caused her so much pain. The Cosmic Owl rested her body closely to Moli's. There was nothing romantic in her intentions. It was merely her own silent way of telling the pre-Herald that she trusted him and to remain as warm as possible.
The Cosmic Owl awaited Moli's movement, yet she was unable to feel herself being carried. Perhaps this was because the UNS had decided to show up at a most inopportune moment. Turning her head, she let out a silent snarl towards those who had betrayed Lucien. While she was not fond of Roulin's friend and rival, the fact that they had betrayed the man who had led them was sickening to the dying Herald. Yet she remained unspeaking before turning to Moli. He wouldn't be able to fight them (if it came to that) while he was carrying her as well. But what would happen once he let go of her? Would her powers remain nullified long enough for her to be able to grasp them some-what, or would they become unleashed again, this time in full force? What had happened just a short while ago was only the tip of the iceberg with her powers.
Cecilia looked from Moli towards his girlfriend, Aeon. She desperately hoped that the UNS would allow them to pass. She wasn't too worried about Moli. The Cosmic Owl knew that he could take care of himself quite well. But Aeon...while the girl was powerful...what if she was attacked while carrying Cecilia? What if....Cecilia didn't want to think about it. The new Herald's worries were broken by the sound of Moli's voice. She arched her left eyebrow wincing slightly at the slight movement. "Really, Moli?" she whispered so that only he could hear her. "If I live through this, I am so going to beat you over the head for such a stupid excuse. Holding my breath for too long...honestly..." This was her way of attempting to lighten the somber mood despite the fact that she did not feel very "light" at the moment.
Aeon looked at the UNS officers and looked at her boyfriend. Was he crazy??? Swallowing she had to push aside her pride and leave with Cecilia. She then took Cecilia in her arms. "Okay girl...we're out of here" she said to her as she began to walk off with Cecilia, the UNS members staring at Aeon. "We need to get you to a hospital" she said in a low voice. The damage was immense in the area and she didn't know if Cecilia would lose control again or not. Aeon wished she could have provided some comfort of the Sapphire OWL but she couldn't...she barely had control of her own powers.
Sabrina yelled in pain as the negation hit her leg. "Really Thomas?!? Come harder...true I can feel your negation but as a stone...it's hardly phasing me...well at least immediately" she said revealing that damage was still being caused. She ran towards Thomas as she began to flip, then tumble until she looked like a large boulder, though only her body was curled as jagged spikes were released from her body like a rolling pin cushion towards the Death OWL.
((TFP---Raven))
As she lay there gathering her strength and thoughts, Raven couldn’t help but feel rather impressed. Her opponent was more then she could ever have wished for. He was quick and very smart, strong with a skill for planning out his moves. Not like those other mindless people she had fought against in the past. There was no denying the fact that Raven clearly enjoyed these little encounters. Despite the pain she was so blatantly in, she smirked. Why she had smirked was nothing more than a result of a private thought she had for a brief moment. Not that it held any importance right now. Raven opened her eyes slowly, as she had suspected, Roulin did appear. Right at her side with an attack ready and waiting in the wings. For a brief moment her eyes met with his, her smile still in its place, cold and haunting like she knew something he did not…
The beautiful crescent streak which was left behind as Roulin delivered his attack was rather stunning. Luckily, it did not blind the French woman too much. The speed and force that Roulin had put into his attack meant it was too dangerous to simply allow it to make contact. In other words, Raven needed to block it out with as much force as possible. The silver haired woman shielded herself with a dense shockwave that protected her body in a tomb shaped way. The ground beneath Raven cracked and groaned with the building pressure as a result of her shockwave creation. The injuries that Raven had sustained during the fight were starting to make their selves well and truly known. As a result of energy loss the Heart of Life was beginning to weaken. Her silver tinted eyes were already changing to their usual icy blue selves. It didn’t matter. She could still kill Roulin. Her determination was being back 110% by her never ceasing spirit and will.
After a few seconds, the Fallen Phoenix leader carefully began to gather the shockwave and directed it all to one single point, Roulin’s calf. With the shockwave was in place, highly packed and ready to be released, Raven pushed her hand forth in order to direct the shockwave more efficiently. Her hand was in sheer pain as it took most of the force that had been behind Roulin’s light themed kick. In fact, she was sure her wrist may have just shattered…Right now her mind was far too occupied with what was going on above her to even think about broken bones. Despite the pain Raven never let up; the whole time she kept her condensed palm sized shockwave pressed upwards. And then she released it, the double edge blade that would deliver just as much damage to her as it did for Roulin…
((TFP---Serena))
Serena and Kojiro had been running for a while now. The white haired woman was sure they would be safe as soon as they got out of Italy. Serena let out an irritated sigh when Koji continued to tug on her sleeve before he actually stumbled to a stop. “What?! I am sure they can look after their selves!” She grabbed the Frozen Owl by the arm and proceeded to drag him by sheer force…only to stop in her tracks. “Goddamn it….” She rounded on Kojiro her expression one of seriousness. “Ok, we go back and help out. If things get too out of hand, we back away, got it? No questions and no what ifs. I will drag you away to safety by your hair if I have to.” Turning back the way they had come, the Vanishing Owl sucked in a deep breath before taking off at a brisk paced jog while keeping a hold of Koji’s hand so as to not lose him in all the current confusion. “Well sorry Will, I couldn’t follow your order completely”
