I will say that, unless Thor applied for Canadian citizenship (he use to live in Canada in the comics emo ), America would crush just about everyone in a super hero war. 8D

Although we did kind of make the executive decision to deport the Hulk (into SPACE), so I don't think we technically have the Hulk anymore. o vo

We do still have patriotism, though! Lots and lots of patriotism...

We'll get the Hulk back if the writers want the Hulk back. Especially if they plan to tie the comics in more to what the movies are doing. rofl

Weeell, they did bring the Hulk back. xD Just not in the way anyone hoped for. (After Planet Hulk, the comic where they decide to launch Hulk into space so he can't hurt the Earth ever again, he lands on a planet, kills the ruler, takes it over, and then comes back and nearly conquers Earth with his army; aaand they all lived happily ever after. lol)

But yeah, I get the feeling that they're trying to make the Avengers movie tie in to the three biggest stories in Marvel comics.

And I admit, I have almost never read an actual comic. >_> I just read character bios and summaries of comic events.


Also those 3 biggest comic book storylines are the introduction of the Avengers, the invasion of Thannos/the Kree/the Skrulls/Ultron (a lot of aliens find our little planet and decide to conquer it, one after another xD Also Ultron is just a d**k), and the Civil War Arc. There's actually a 4th, X-men vs Avengers, but it JUST came out a year or so ago, and they don't own the movie rights to X-men anyways...


But yeah. They've already introduced the Avengers, the stinger revealed Thannos coming, and the Guardians of the Galaxy movie they're working on involves the Kree. And there's an Ant Man movie coming, and Ant Man creates Ultron in the comics (although they say Ultron, the villain in Avengers 2, will be made by Tony Stark in the movie).

Long story short, I really think they're aiming for the Civil War arc where, you know, there's a civil war. xD And Cap'n America and Tony Stark champion either side. (They ARE the two big names in Marvel's movies)
