No, honestly, before I even had the kind of hatred for Ashley I got in about my 3rd play through, when Leon went to extract the plaga from her, I honestly thought that's where she was gonna die. Simply for Dramatic effect, plus the Plaga was in her longer, I thought she would have died and the ending would have been a bit more... real.
