Saiya snorted and moved so that she was in front of him with her hands on her hips. "Yea this is my buying your line of crap." She rolled her eyes as she moved so that he was making eye contact. "They're quick to eat and easy to pack. So yes. Now that I've answered your question you answer mine."

Now that Kai had nowhere to look he was stuck. Trying to think of a way out of this, he went ahead and ate the rest of his power bar. "Mhmrmrhmr." he muttered, turning to try and look at the forest.

Saiya narrowed her eyes and leaned on her tippy toes till their noses touched. "Swallow and try again." She said with obvious irritation at his avoidance. "Don't make me use my favor."

Swallowing, Kai tired without avail to Saiya's glance. "I said, 'this power bar is really delicious'. What flavor is it?" he asked. He was not going to tell what the real reason was, it went against everything he'd been taught. Giving into his emotions was wrong... Wasn't it?

Kai sighed as he looked back at Saiya. "Look, I know this is going to sound kind of weird and all... And I know we haven't really know each other long but..." he rushed through, trying to keep from getting tongue tied. "Its just that, you seem to bring out certain emotions in me that I'm not very good at handling."

Saiya tilted her head to the side like a confused puppy. "What kind of emotions?" She asked him curiously.

Truthfully, he didn't know. Kai had always avoided his emotions so he didn't know how to label this one. All he knew was that right now all he could think about was kissing her. "I'm not entirely sure." he stated nervously.

Saiya studied him for a moment. "A little trick humans learn when it comes to emotion. Sometimes the best way to handle an emotion is to go with what it's telling you to do." She licked her lips. "Like now." She leaned forward till her lips were almost touching his. "Something I figured out about my 'gift' a long time ago, it's most powerful when I let my emotions guied me."

"I'll keep that in mind...." Kai whispered, unable to resist the urge anymore. Wrapping an arm around Saiya's waist, he brought her to him as his lips pressed against her's. Pent up emotion finally released in the one thing he'd been thinking about since she'd walked into the cottage.

Saiya's feet were off the ground when he pulled her to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and returned the kiss, her teal eyes closing.

Drawing the kiss out, Kai finally came up for air. Remaining close as he leaned his forehead against her's, Kai ran a hand down her cheek. "I have to admit that wasn't a bad outcome of emotions." he commented softly, still a little out of breath.

Saiya smiled softly at him as a blush rode on her cheeks. "Not bad at all." She agreed with a small laugh. "Unless you feel the urge to follow your emotions again, you might want to put me down." She teased as she wiggled her feet to show him that she was not longer on the ground.
