As the day rolled on, with not much of any sighting of Mayloo, Vence was, quite frankly, bored. He would grab an occasional snack, sit down, chat with some passangers; loiter around, basically. The ship just seemed too... lifeless. There were people, things to do, sights to see, but there was no feeling in it.
So much for a happy trip, Vence thought to himself. He stood up from his chair from the front of the ship, and headed around to the other side. Bringing up his hand to sheild his eyes from the setting sun, he gazed out about the deck, searching for anything that might interest him. He didn't expect to spot Mayloo at the very back of the boat. He couldn't help but feel slightly awkward, staring at her from a distance. It seemed almost too coincidental; the time, the place...
Vence shook his head slightly, forcing the blush he could feel coming on away. Please, I have more self control than that. He easily crossed the distance between the two of them, slowing more as he got closer. The sun refused to give way to night, it's rays still shining, but diminishing by the minute.
"Having fun?" He asked, coming up to lean against the railing with her.

Mayloo was alittle startled by Vence sudden approuch but it was a kind of subtle startle that got her heart to kick start. "S-somewhat" She responded before moving a tad towards him. "I'm getting tired but I refuse to rest just yet..." Her hand took his as if simply examining it, her way of fidgetting I suppose...
"Just not yet..." She went on messing with his hand before finally just placing it within his before hugging him with her free arm. Mayloo couldn't help but smile before questioning his little trip so far. "How's the boat ride going?"

Vence remained silent, allowing the night's presence to seep in, rather than ignore it, as Mayloo fiddled with his hand a moment, before she hugged him. He returned the embrace, naturally; he felt an odd sense of of peace whenever he did, without fail his instincts telling him not to let go, though he knew he'd have to eventually.
"Are you referring to now or before now?" Vence asked, answering her question with one of his own. Of course, he had to slip in a touch of light romance. For some reason, to him, it felt appropriate.

"Hm.." With a wide smile, she tapped her foot alittle atop the ground. "Both prehaps. Before and now." Her body certainly didn't want to stay still as she continued moving in tiny ways. Fidgetting with her hair like any stereotypical nervous girl would do, she couldn't help but look at him with a blush upon her face. "You know what...Don't even answer" And with that, Mayloo wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and stood up on her tipytoes so that she could slowly draw herself in alittle closer. How he responded, was his choice.

[FOUND IT!! xd Sorry I've been gone sooooo long. sweatdrop I hope you can forgive me. smile ]
Vence was not at all taken aback by Mayloo's response. It was strange to him; this was his first time ever being in some sort of relationship. He never asked for it, he never wished for it, dreamed of it even, but here it was, staring him in the face, speaking to him, "What's your next move, Vence?"
He didn't have to be told twice what to do. Both his body, mind, and heart moved with one accord. He smiled as she pulled herself closer, letting his own hands wrap around her waist.
"I think I won't, at that," he whisperered softly. He hesitated only slightly - he wasn't exactly a natural at this sort of thing - before he did what he thought he never would: He kissed her.
A hundred years could never have prepared him for what he felt. A wave of joy rolled through him, threatening to cripple his mind of all thought. He wouldn't have minded, at that, not if this was what it meant to be together. How could he have been ignorant of such wonder existing?
Thank the Gods above for love, was all he managed to think of properly. He didn't want it to end, but somewhere, a part of him fought to keep sense, and told him he should. Reluctantly...very reluctantly(even that doesn't fit), he pulled away, trying to make it last as long as possible. In place of the joy, a slight ache was left in him. A new door of his being was opened, and there was nothing to show for it.
Vence stared into Mayloo's eyes, trying to find some answer to his own predicament. Maybe she would have an answer?

Her heart was pounding as she moved in and with her eyes closed, she wasn't sure whether Vence was accepting it until his arms wrapped around her waist. Feeling a his breath lightly for a moment, her skin felt as if it jumped before finally his lips embraced her own.
Mayloo's hands clenched upon his shirt collar as if she was struggling to believe this was happening. The corner of her lips upturned in a small smile for she was only focused on the contact they made with another and how the emotions between them sparked like lighters within her. Why hadn't she done this sooner? Then again, would it have been so strong? She certainly didn't regret having waited.
Waiting was like ripening, it would make it all the more sweeter. (My own little quote =D ). When he pulled away, she was left with his hands still around her and his emotions finally drawn out. His eyes were staring within her eyes which were held wide not in fear nor hurt, but in a disbelief for the happiness that flooded her. It felt somewhat like hot water boiling up inside.
Mayloo's lips began to move in an attempt of words. "I-I believe I have, fallen" And although that was intended for a different meaning, her knees gave in abit which caused for a stumble. Fortunately for her, Vence's hand were still around her to catch her.

Vence was only able to find movement again from her words, allowing him a smile. He even managed a small laugh as well as he drew her closer to prevent her from stumbling to much as she did so. Ironic how her words were intended otherwise, and remained true both ways.
"If you fall, I'll be here to catch you," he whispered in her ear. He wished he could have said more, but as it was, he could not seem to think straight. Perhaps it was enough, those words of reassurance.

Mayloo was glad Vence had pulled her back into his grasp while allowing her knees to stabilize themselves but they only wanted to hold till the same breath tickle at her ear with sweet words. Her knees nearly buckled again but she wanted to stand tall with him as her face became totally awashed in a deeper red tint. "I kinda want to tell you, that was actually my first kiss" One of her little hands were drawn up to cover her mouth while the other remained wrapped around him in support. She snuggled her face in to his torso abit and the boat chugged on.
After having admitted what she thought to be a tad nerving to say, she added in. "I-I'm getting alittle sleepy, How bout you?" Even within his arms, reality started swarming in to remind her of the night that had fallen.

Vence smiled again as she admitted her inexperience. Truth be told, he was just as much so; he had never even cared to consider another girl. Why now was different, he did not know. Not that he was reconsidering or regretting; quite the opposite. He was still quite surprised with himself...or with Mayloo? Both? Regardless, he was glad he chose this. For the sake of the moment, he said nothing.
That is, untill she asked a question. He couldn't ignore that, could he?
"Maybe before, but I think you woke me up." How could he resist throwing a bit of romance in? "Would you like to rest for the night?" he added, on a more serious note. He had to be considerate of her health he supposed as well; it was only logical.

Her hands tightened around him a moment more before she began pulling away enough to look at him with her fatigue hinting face. Regardless, she giggled alittle at his comment. Was it really possible to recharge a person in the exchange of a kiss?
Well it seemed anything was possible, it was their night. "It's not mandatory yet. I may be able to remain awake for some time more for you"

Vence shook his head, unable to surpress yet another smile. He wasn't the only one who was good with words, it seemed.
"I am hardly qualified to recieve your attention, Mayloo. If you're tired, you must sleep. I hate to say it, but tomorrow will be just as busy as today." He was partially right, of course. Although they had just another day of wandering the ship, one would be surprised to see what there was to do. He had to admit, too, he was concerned for her, even though all she said was she was tired. He might have been a bit overreactive, but was that his fault?

(( xD yeah, I know...but man, if you stumble upon simple roleplays, you can find some pretty crude stuff. lol, and then you read others complimenting the drama or something. It's funny))
Mayloo suddenly cuddle back up to him "You are worthy of anyone's attention!" and then went on giving a reluctant nod. "Fine then, I shall slumber soon. But I must request of you to rest as well?" She knew he had claimed to be hyper and everything, but the idea of having him atleast in the same place sounded comforting. Yawning, she turned to look both ways in attempt to track where they were to sleep. "I just hope the day tomorrow can be as good as this one"
