Sanoskue blinked and smiled softly, "I'd love that." He said gently.

Kanti blushed under her fur and looked up at Sanoskue shyly. “Really?” she asked, almost not believing her ears.

"There's noone I'd rather start a pack with than you." He said smiling and nuzzling her.

Kanti whined happily and nuzzled Sanoskue back, her tag wagging excitedly behind her. “Then let’s go say hi to my old pack and let my family know I’m okay. Then we’ll start our own,” she said softly.

"Sounds like a plan." Sanoskue said

Kanti licked Sanoskue’s muzzle once more before standing up and stretching. “Lets go, if we hurry we should be in pack territory before nightfall.”

"Sounds good to me, lead the way." He said stretching and licking her cheek.

Tail wagging, Kanti started off through the snow, leading Sanoskue around the upper ridge of the valley, staying well clear of the village.

Sanoskue followed her happily, feeling happier than he ever had in his life.

Kanti sprang lightly through the snow, excited to be so close to seeing her old pack, but even more excited to begin a new one with Sanoskue. The sun had just reached the treetops when they came to the edge of the forest, having escaped notice from the villagers. “We’re almost there Sanoskue!” Kanti barked happily.

"Yay!" he said, eager to meet her family.

Kanti chuckled and bounded into the forest, Sanoskue on her heels. She didn’t bother to move quietly, it was actually better they made noise so her family would find them sooner.

Sanoskue tripped over a root and crashed into Kanti, he started to laugh and appologized, "Sorry, I'm just so eager to meet your family, I'm not really paying attention."

Kanti laughed with him. “It’s fine love. Look, I hear them! Guys it’s me, Kanti!” she barked excitedly. There was a pause, and then a slender gray muzzle slide out from the bushes. “Kanti is that really you?” a thin she-wolf asked.
