"you should've gone to your bed!" she pouted, hugging him more. "you've got bags under your eyes...." she frowned, able to see his face since he still had his mask off, bandage on.

A weary chuckle came from the man. "I'm far too busy to sleep." he said. Patting her head, Chaos rose to his feet and reached for his mask, which had fallen from his grasp during his sleep at night.

"you should still do it." she huffed, crossing her arms and puffing up her cheeks. "if you don't i'll make you!" she mumbled, hopping off her bed and out the door to go make breakfast before he could say anything to her.

The now masked man raised an eyebrow at her. Make me? he thought and watched her retreat, reduced to just staring at the doorway. He didn't know her powers, but he was more than positive that she was simply giving him a childish demand. Chuckling softly, Chaos picked up the rest of his supplies and began making his way downstairs, buttoning up his coat all the while.

by the time he got downstairs, the small child was already making breakfast, standing on her toes so she could see over the rim of the pan she was making an omelette in. "you want something?" she asked, looking over at him as she continued to add cheese to the pan.

"Actually I'd like one of whatever it is you are cooking." Chaos commented with amused, frosty eyes. "It smells quite good."

"can you please get me two more eggs from the bowl then?" the girl asked, smiling to herself as she sprinkled a few onions and some bacon on her omelette, grabbing the salt and pepper from their places on the shelf.

"Of course." he nodded and strode over to get the groceries. Getting the eggs with one hand, the masked man turned around and strode towards her, handing her the eggs. "Here you are."

"thanks~" she smiled, taking both eggs in her one tiny hand and setting them carefully by a bowl. "Imma finish this one and then I'll make you're, okay?" She hummed, spreading cheese over the omelette as she prepared to finish it.

"Take all the time you need." Chaos nodded and wandered towards the table, sitting down with a sigh. Now that he wasn't on his feet his exhaustion was catching up with him. Taking on a mortal form did have its disadvantages now and then, and he couldn't take his original form of just darkness anymore, at least not for too long, now that he had a child to care for. But it was a problem Chaos was fine with. Cybil was a good child, sweet and smart. He loved her just as he did with every mortal, and he's more than happy to take care of her.

setting her omelette to the side, the child smiled to herself as she began making Chaos's omelette. "what do you want in it?"

"Hmm?" the masked man mused, snapping out of his thoughts to look at her. "Ah, anything is fine." he assured with a smile in his frosty eyes before looking away.

"okay!" She smiled, pouring the eggmix onto the pan and letting that start to cook as she tried to great more cheese, struggling since she was too tin to put any good force behind her movements.

He noticed this. "Cybil," he started, already rising from his seat. "Do you need any help?"
