Island Resort ~The RP~

Chase hastily wrapped up his self-inflicted wound as the black wings slowly disappeared in the wind, keeping a watchful eye on Dustin. Frankly he didn't care what the other thought, and managed to bow politely to the other seeing as Chase wasn't willing to drag the rude man along with him.

"Nice working with you. I hope you accomplish what you need and maybe we'll meet eachother again."
He sincerly told Dustin before running off in pursuit of Viva's aura.

He barely caught sight of Xi and Viva disappearing into the side of the ship and would've been puzzled as to where they went if he hadn't seen.
Hesitantly he reached out to the metalic side of the ship and nearly jumped out of his skin when the door appeared before him.
With one last glance at the island, Chase opened the door and proceeded through.

The Jarian dolls, the copies of former members now gone, were now in the process of restoring the island resort to the way it was before the devastating invasion. The defeated aliens, now being the Jairans spoils, assited in the clean up. Their fleet badly demolished, their wreckage was moved to one side of the island along side the surviving vessels as the resort proper was being reconstructed from the ground up.

The alien UFO that the island was built upon had remained untouched during the entire escapade, its secret remained undiscovered.

It seemed ironic to him that the same stretch of beach he landed on was the same his squad had landed on during the counter-attack. He sighed quietly as memories of the assault flashed through his mind. Then the final image of him making his way across the hull of the flagship burned into his mind before fading away as well.

He shook his head and smiled. None of that mattered now. He had a mission now and he was determined to see it through.

And so he began his investigation.

The Island had changed some since his last visit. The remaining aliens had constructed an artificial island and harbor adjoining the island resort from which the aliens few remaining ships and their wreckage was being docked and worked over.

The dopplegangers continued their work reconstructing the damaged buildings though the foilage showed burns and damage that would take years to heal.

Suddenly not an hour after Raziels arrival the earth shook with enough force to send objects flying off shelves, people off of their feet and some of the damaged buildings to cave in on themselves.

From the beach one would see the sizable waves moving away from the island, growing to become a small tsunami.

He had been eating a small lunch at the time the tremor struck, but luckily he had managed to keep his food from being ruined. After the tremor subsided, he packed up his small camp and proceeded further inland.

The further inward they went the more severe signs of the tremors showed. Trees were toppled over, cracks split through the ground and what few buildings that had withstood the invasion were nearly toppled inward from the loosening of their supports.

He sighed quietly at the devastation. Not only from the invasion, but also from the very recent tremor that had ripped through the island.

He understood from that first tremor that it couldn't be natural. It had originated from the center of the island, which was possible with a volcanic land mass. But as far as he knew, the island had no volcano.

So his first order of business was to head toward the central mountain and investigate it's inner workings. Perhaps there was something to be revealed.

Eventually Raziels investigation lead him to a sudden drop obstructed by the deeper foilage making it almost invisible until you fell right in.
It looked recent, as one of the treees was tilting over the side, creaking as its roots strained to remain earth bound.

Ending explored the island, enjoying the tropical forests and curious fauna populating it.

He knelt carefully at the lip of the drop. With his astute observations he was able to avoid falling right into it.

His eyes couldn't see anything of interesting in the deep gloom, but he knew that his true investigation would begin somewhere within the murky darkness below.

Without another thought, his wings came into being and he began his slow, hovering decent into the shadows below.

Hearing the loud flapping sound, Ending followed it and before she knew it, fell straight into the pit.
As Ending began to fall, she quickly lowered her weight to near nothing as she looked around for something to grab hold to.

The deep pit continued on for quite a ways. At the bottom the ground was a strange metal. It appeared to be a part of a much larger source. The tip of the iceberg one might say.

As he landed upon the strange metallic surface, the heels of his boots produced a serious of sharp clicks that echoed around him for a good minute or so. It seemed he hand come into a large cavern, but he couldn't see very far in the darkness.

He produced a small globe of blue flame to light his way as he began exploring the cavern around him.

Unable to find a good handle hold, Ending conjured one of her bombs in one hand and ignited it, throwing it down as she decended. As it neared the bottom it exploded in a gale of hot wind, slowing Endings decent greatly enough that she touched down unharmed. "Wells that there was a fun ride!" She said with an odd smile. Holding up a burning starter stick, Ending looked around curiously. "Well well well. Wherever am I now?"

It was not a cavern so much as a pit for it went straight out and there were no adjoining tunnels.
The unusual metallic ground was covered by a thin layer of dirt but it appeared unusually clear of debris. Another thing of note was that the ground on the way down appeared distributed in perfectly even layers.
