"Alright...confirm Identity of the following names and bodies....once confirmed...we will call weapons free, until then do no open fire unless ordered by your command."
"Roger!"
Soon enough sounds of engines and light thumping of blades spinning began to echo in the distance form the battlefield, several shadows began converging as they entered Italy's skies...
"Sir! we are approaching last transmission point!"
Suddenly the sound of another microphone began to click. The thick Russian accent began to clear his throat as he began to speak as the aircraft began to approach their destination,
"Now.....I have to be honest with you men...I have my own reasons for conducting this mission...we humans are not at the greatest standing with these...how is the best way to put it...people?...In any case...you have been given orders...orders from me, your commander to carry out this mission. This being said. You are not helping them! You are simply following orders...If I find out you tried to take an action for what you personally believe is just....I'll gut you myself and serve my own kind of justice!...I know it will be hard to swallow your pride to do this but you need to remember you discipline I-"
"Sir! We have confirmed the presence of hostile units...UNS are coming in large numbers!"
There was murmuring through the helicopters as their concerns began to rise, The commander held a hand over his microphone on his helmet and was silent,"...Izayoi....they must have REALLY pissed someone off...I hope you are right about this..." however the commander quickly got back on the radio,
"Looks like we have been...how do you say..."Later for the party?"....alright....Have med evac standing by! Ground units! prepare to hit the ground!...Gunship door gunners, begin checklists for aerial support! wait for my Mark!"
Several helicopters began making their way as they swarmed over the city, utility helicopters and larger carriers began to fly closer to the area.
"Sir! beginning confirmation!...Confirming presence of select members of the Fallen Phoenix!....multiple sighted! UNS hostile presence confirmed!"
The commander laughed as he looked out his aircraft, the carnage was immeasurable, he looked at the pilot of his helicopter,"...Who is that over there?..." The pilot looked over and began naming the faces, "...Ahead....names registered....Lorna Dayne, Serilda Madde, and Catherine Turner, and...we cannot confirm the other....several names...Presidiomni!" The commander shot a glare at the pilot,"....Che?...impossible!..." he looked outside and through his Binoculars,"...Negative...that's not Che!...but those others...Begin approach..." the man took his hand off and smirked,"...Alright...let us begin..."
"UNS are here to save the day!....they might not be too happy to see us....they are not your priority! Ground units and gunships...confirm presence and you are able to fire upon sight!....I am not saying to piss em off!...but if they are looking for a fight!...Give em one!....Weapons are now hot! Pilots! Your priority is to extract the Fallen Phoenix and consolidate upon completion!....If you happen to get distracted though...that is all I have...comply with orders from your Squad Leaders!...Sabre 3 out!"
"Roger!"
Suddenly the helicopters began to disperse throughout Italy, all taking several directions, some began to land further into the heart of the city where the station was, and ground troops began running out, weapons aimed in on their surroundings, their Squad Leaders began directing them with information with the Identification of their objectives. And they began heading in, gunning down UNS forces upon sight.
As they began flying over Italy, a Door-gunner on one of the gunships looked towards the wreckage,"...Sir!....so....we are actually gonna try to save em?....why?....for all we know they might try to kill us!" The pilot sighed,"...From what I heard, the Commander was real adamant about saving these guys...something about a debt or something....I swear...that old man should have retired years ago....but we have out orders...don't do anything stupid...look sharp! We are taking fire!...Tear those fools down!...show em what they are up against!" the Door gunner nodded and turned out the door, kicking the barrels of his minigun towards the UNS,"....Alright...lets see how you like this!!!!" suddenly the mini-gun whirred to life as the lead rain came down onto the attacking forces, the sounds of gunfire and explosions began ringing through the city as the rest of the Units began to follow suit.
The commander, looked towards the horizon seeing his mission beginning, and then looked back to the group he saw on the ground,"...Hold fire and continue approach..." he muttered over the microphone.

((TFP---Raven))
Raven listened closely to Roulin’s words. His vision of what his life would have been like was one of pure bliss. Strangely enough the French woman could picture his little fantasy world almost as clearly as she had with hers. Letting out a small laugh when Roulin stated that what Raven had pictured was not the ramblings of a young girl but were in fact things Raven wanted. Maybe he was right in what he said; more right than what Raven would ever admit. Despite the fact that Raven would usually deny these types of things, she found herself speaking in a more…cooperative manner. “…They are dreams and ambitions….from a long time ago…As for this nightmare, as you call it….this is what I have created…it will give way to a better…dream…”
The sound of movement pulled Raven’s attention towards the Life Owl who had shifted himself onto his front clearly causing himself discomfort. The blonde female smiled somewhat before looking away once again. She was not ready to try and shift her body just yet. Despite the danger that lurked on the horizon, she felt strangely calm amongst the hard rubble and broken shards of glass, so for a moment longer she will remain lying down. She will allow herself to remain where she was and converse with Roulin in a way that was civil. A whole world away from their recent blood fuelled battle that had brought them right to this moment. A strange twist in what they had both originally set out to do. But this was just a fleeting moment…it was not something Raven or Roulin could take a hold off. All they could do was seize the moment as it was before going their separate ways.
“For you to even say such things….is hard for me to understand…” The French woman murmured “You know what happened….the last time you healed me…Heh, I don’t think I ever…thanked you for that….Forgive my lack of manners back then…” Of course, back then in Japan, Raven’s entire mind was set on killing Thomas nothing else crossed her mind. “A leopard cannot….change its spots….Roulin..” The saying was enough to summarise and to confirm that Raven also knew what she would do once she was healed. She was a cd stuck on repeat until the day came that her dream, her vision, came to blossom. Toady had seen a step forward towards her goal. She knew and relished in that feeling alone….even if it came at a hefty price… “Do you think….that I would do…the same for you? If the chance…ever arose?” Raven was not even sure if she could answer the question herself. But, she was curious to see what Roulin had to say in response.
“You would forgive me?...Why do you put so much faith….into those who…have caused you…and others so much suffering?” Raven closed her eyes tightly, refusing to open them in fear that she would give way to some sort of emotion that may see her crumble right into Roulin’s palms. She was trying to fight of the Italian’s words away. All this talk about the life she had once dreamed about stabbed at her like needles full of regret and resentment. Regret for the fact that she had turned down the many paths that had once been set before her feet, and resentment towards the one guy who should have been using this very moment to finish her off. Raven wasn’t sure if she should take Roulin’s words as pity or a sign of hope; they blurred her usually well controlled mind and almost seemed to morph it into really thinking about the man’s offer. It was right there, plump for the picking. To accept it now…would it really be ok? Did she really deserve this? After all she had done…wouldn’t this be considered her rolling over and surrendering?
“Roulin….” Raven began through drying lips “I….” She found herself unable to fully express whatever it was she was currently feeling. Confused, yes. Uncertain, you betcha…but there was something else there that had not set foot into Raven’s conscience for a very long time. Hope. No matter how much she tried to deny the feeling, it was there flickering away like a wax candle locked in a pitch black room. “You…you know what I will say…and…what would happen in….the end…” Raven finally said after a long internal battle with her thoughts, feelings and emotions. For the first time in a while, Raven turned to face the Italian who was now on his hands and knees “Had this moment….come at an earlier time….I….” She broke off and took in a deep shuddering breath. Though it was unknown whether her breath had trembled as a result of the pain she was in or the wild emotions that currently ruled her. “…would have…accepted… But now, I am already far too into this…to simply turn and walk away ….” She smiled half-heartedly at the young Italian, her once hostile gaze was replaced with a mixture of tiredness, kindness and maybe a slight hint of sadness, her perfect façade had been laid to rest for that moment only. “You better not…be going soft on me…”

(Very slightly edit. Roulin doesn't get shot in the face. He gets shot in the throat) The frame of The Life Owl was still littered densely with bruises, contusions and deep gashes from which blood streamed out unhindered. One by one though, the deep purple blotches of tenderness and pain vanished leaving behind the man's pale flesh that they once plagued. The bones in the Italian's back which had shifted during his magnificently graceful landing moments ago popped loudly as his muscles shifted them back into place. His shattered knee was healed returning to him the power to walk and the lacerations that covered his now exposed upper body closed as if manipulated by a zipper. Roulin's dark purple eyes fluttered for seconds. The fractals of cobblestone, clipped paint and glass were now visible to him and in great detail. The process was done for the most part. Roulin was healed, but not completely. His ability to call forth the familiar energy all Owls used to fight was still inactive thanks to the final attack he placed on Raven. Tilting his neck tiredly, he gave his attention back to Raven as she spoke, confirmed and even denied his claims one by one.
Dejectedly, the Owl's eyes lowered resulting in saddened, half-eyed gaze. What she'd hoped to attain from this nightmare would not be a dream. It would only be another nightmare. If she were to overthrow the human rule and not try to cooperate with them in anyway, then they'd just one day return with the tools need to topple them again. The cycle would be propagated and the road to destruction would be shortened exponentially. The destination at the end of this road, Roulin knew would inevitably come, didn't have to arrive before it's time. Getting the woman who now resided at the base of his shaking, unstable stance proved to be the most difficult part. "Yes, I do know what happened the last time I healed you...and I forgive you Catherine. What gives me the ability to say such things and promise such things is that we both are Owls. That is all there is to it. It's the same thing I said to Lucien before this entire fiasco got started. I'm willing to help all Owls and all Humans. Like you said, someone has to do it...I have the abilities to do anything."
Through the dark tresses that now rested straightened over his face, Roulin stared down at the girl who still wore her smile and almost turned his head away. Her...her emotions didn't fit this. She was confused, scared, contemplative....the sensations didn't fit her jovially intoxicated expression and that alone bothered the bemused male. The french woman and her stupid grin.....Roulin shook his mind free of the thought of her losing it then and there. His respect for her was too great. A mental breakdown would only result in disappointment and him doing away with her then and there. "Stop smiling! This isn't the time to be doing this! I don't know if you'd do the same for me and I don't care, alright? I have faith in you Raven just like I have faith in everyone. It's because I want to see them try...I want to see them succeed at something! No one's life should be thrown away because of war...it's a waste! If you want to live, then live! Don't throw it away fighting do you understand!?" The young man's shouting echoed off of the slabs of stone and concrete that jutted out of the ground bringing anyone nearby into the conversation. Raven was down and out and she wasn't going to move for a while. For those watching intently and listening from unscathed rooftops, Roulin wanted them to know that a chance was being offered to her as well as all of them. If it had to be by himself, then he'd pull the weight.....just as long as it saw his kind progressing in the world and not being killed by it.
It was the silence that drew more onlookers into the fray...Roulin's speech was done and it was now up to Raven to reply with something. His hand was reached out for her to take. With it, he'd help her stand and even heal her with his last ounce of power. He could heal....there was no pain he couldn't endure and no suffering he could recoil from. The offer was there. Roulin's dark purple eyes widened in shock when the woman responded. A part of him expected it and her answer simple cause it to laugh at him foolishly. His arm lowered slightly, though remained outstretched. His palm was now turned toward her and in it was a sphere of white energy. It's form wasn't like any of Roulin's other previously used attacks. More or less, it resembled the concussive beam ability he'd stolen not too long ago. Then again, it's hue matched that of what one would call Aura. It was used by Owls and certain trained humans to save others. It was difficult to tell what the sphere consisted of, but after it hit Raven, the effects would be revealed. "...goddamn it Raven...a promise is a promise."
A bullet cracked against a crumpled lampost and another just near Roulin's foot. Before he could activate his vision to find and stop what seemed to be a sniper, the hand which held his charge shot was blasted away by a hot, steaming sniper round. What may have either killed or saved Raven was now lost thanks to the efforts of the range shooter. Now tightly squeezing his nearly decimated remains of his right hand, Roulin looked forward past Raven's body unknowingly giving the sniper a perfect shot. The fourth bullet fired struck Roulin in nape of neck throwing his body into a wicked half spin before dropping him unconscious next to Raven. In the bullet's wake, there was hanging flesh, dangling nerves and blood pouring profusely from the unconscious Owl's throat.
~~~
Soliel's dark red eyes shined with surprise when they approached the battlefield. Roulin was on his knees and Raven seemed to be on her back. He'd missed the fight, but from this alone, he knew that something had went down. Unable to sense aura, he couldn't tell who was in better shape, but from looking, he felt as though he knew. His fists clenched now in prospect of a fight, but he knew he couldn't interfere here....something had to give and it had to give on it's own.
When Roulin began to shout just what any counter-terrorist would, Soliel simply grew angrier. Who was this guy to tell them what was right and wrong? Had he not been present for the past twenty years to see the injustices owls had to face? "Goddamn this kid...." For the sake of Lorna who'd just awoken, he kept himself calm, but when the bullets began to ring, Soliel knew he had to move. "Serilda, c'mon....Lorna, if you think you're up for it, I'd like you to join me on this. Follow quickly..." Wasting no time, the Magma Owl was off to the center of the battlefield to give cover. If his plan was going to continue, he'd need Raven alive...
Lorna's ears caught the words that The Life Owl spoke. Her lips formed a snarl. How dare he! How dare he try to play the part of Raven's conscience! What about all those who had wronged them? Were they...The Fallen Phoenix just supposed to forgive so easily? No...there was no forgiveness in a world such as this. Forgiveness only wrought more suffering. Still, Lorna had no time to allow her thoughts to rant for at that moment, gunfire sounded. A bullet had struck Roulin rendering him unconscious. Without needing to think, Lorna moved her body forward, a jolt of electricity increasing her momentum tenfold as she sped down to the battlefield.
Lorna was not about to allow the woman who had become like a sister and mother to her to die in such a way. Raven did not deserve a death like this and Lorna would help to make sure that such a thing did not happen. Standing directly in front of Raven and Roulin, who was lying unconscious next to the Phoenix leader, she erected an electromagnetic barrier, around the two while surrounding her own body in a flexible metallic armor, which would enable her to withstand any attacks. She glanced back at Raven who was still conscious, but for how long, the Polaris Owl didn't know.
"I'm only keeping his a** safe so that you can be the one to kill him later," she said with a look of disdain on her face as her silver eyes shifted to the unconscious form of Roulin briefly. "Can't believe I'm ******** doing this," she muttered under her breath at the prospect of keeping Roulin from sustaining anymore damage. But Raven had to be the one to kill Roulin. That was the way it was meant to be. "I swear you two had better not die here," she said with anger in her voice, but there was an outer lacing of worry, which she attempted to hide. However, the worry was more for Raven than it was for Roulin. "You have to be the one to kill him, Ray...I'll make sure that such a thing happens," she vowed.
((TFP---Raven))
Raven’s smile did not retreat even after Roulin had given his speech. The blonde haired female listened to each word that Roulin spoke with faint interest, it was clear that the Italian male was very spirited about his beliefs and at the fact that he felt he could change and help others. “You have too much….faith” Raven slowly muttered as her smile finally faded away until her lips were a thin pale line. “Do not think…that you and your abilities alone…can save two entire races…Thinking that way will see….you dead…” Raven’s blue eyes narrowed as she surveyed Roulin with all the caring of a stranger. “As nice as it is…the linger on these thoughts and what if questions…We both know this will end soon….You cannot change me Roulin……as much as you wish it upon me…I cannot walk down the path you tread…I will continue on my path just as you will on yours….We are both Owls, but we are….so very different…I am the way the world shaped me…I will continue this fight until I see the world changed. Even if I hadn’t taken a stand….someone like me eventually would have…You know that as much as I know that…”
The Fallen Phoenix leader stared long and hard at Roulin’s outstretched hand, her fingers on her right hand twitched at such a sight almost as though they wanted to reach out and grasp a hold of his hand and cling to it like it was a lifeline. A precious source of safety and comfort that Raven had not felt since she was a small child in her parents loving embrace. When Roulin seemed to accept her words, no matter how much it may have pained him, he turned his hand until his palm faced her with sphere of some sort of white energy. Raven’s smile returned somewhat as she watched the swirling force with interest. Roulin had not used this attack during their fight so what it was that this thing could do was a mystery. A sense of calm flowed within the woman; she was prepared for whatever route this may lead to. Life or death, this was a job risk she had accepted on many different occasions. “Indeed….a promise is a promise…Roulin” She kept her blue eyes on his the whole time, she was not going to flinch nor close her eyes, no way in hell would she even dream of doing such a thing. “Don’t hesitate…” She muttered almost as though she was baiting him into doing whatever it was he had planned…Silence…and then came the bullets…
Raven would be lying if she had said the sudden gunfire hadn’t startled her, for it had. Her blue eyes widened as she watched Roulin’s hand blasted away by a bullet, the location of the shooter was unknown from where Raven currently laid. She was about to yell at Roulin to get his a** down but was too late. Another few shots saw one bullet struck the nape of Life Owl's neck. Slightly stunned Raven was unable to force herself to move. Her eyes remained wide as she stared upon the face that lay not so far away from her. The fresh wound that Roulin had received was a mangled mess and bleeding profusely. “s**t…” Anger was the first thing Raven felt. Raw flames of the emotion burned to life releasing surges of adrenaline that her broken and battered body could not handle. Her right hand reached outwards “You better not….be dead yet…” Finding Roulin’s wrist, Raven concentrated. There it was; a heartbeat. “Don’t you dare….fall victim to a gun…You hear me?”
The blonde leader retracted her hand when Lorna landed in front of herself and Roulin. She stared up at the Polaris Owl and allowed the young girl to speak her thoughts on the matter and to perhaps vent a small amount about the fact she was also protecting Roulin with her electromagnetic barrier. “No one here…is dying today, Lorna.” Raven said when Lorna was done speaking. “It will take more than….their stupid toys…to kill us…” Taking in a few sharp breaths, Raven pushed herself upright into an awkward sitting position. Her face consorted in pain as she looked up and around the area in which they were. “Do you know where it is…the gun fire is coming from?” Raven muttered through small intakes of air. She was concentrating on anything other than Roulin who still lay before her. “Heh, faith…I have faith you won’t die here…no matter how big a fool you may seem.” Raven looked up to Lorna with a somewhat thankful expression “I am glad to see that you….are doing well…your timing…is impeccable.” The time for thanks was not yet, but Raven would be sure to thank the young girl and her other team members as soon as she could.
((TFP---Serena))
Serena’s senses were in overdrive as the duo entered the more severely damaged part of town. “This place is a crap hole..” Serena murmured to herself. “Be on your toes at all times Kojiro.” Up ahead, Serena could make out the extent of the damage. She could tell that at one point, this area had been a busy town with all sorts of buildings and tourist attractions. But they had all been torn down, no doubt the result of some huge fight. “Wow…” Serena was speechless as she stared at the mass damage. She had seen a lot of things before but this was something else. “Like I said before, be on your toes at all times…” Glancing towards the Frozen Owl, Serena nodded her head. “Something tells me we are close to the others now..” She took a hold of Koji’s hand once again and turned them both invisible. In the distance the sound of gun fire echoed towards them.
Erin's red eyes looked out across what remained of the beautiful and historic city of Rome, her expression sad. Her sunglasses had been shattered during her fight with Elle. Though, Erin didn't really care who saw her eyes and how they looked now. There were more important things to worry about after all. From what she had seen and knew of Rome, Erin had enjoyed it and couldn't believe that a place so gorgeous was now blown off the map. Now, no more people could enjoy its beauty because of some selfish people trying to bring about peace, each in their own way. Looking away from the scenery, Erin hugged her right arm with her left hand. She had only been standing there not very long when Erin heard a voice call out to her. Blinking in surprise, Erin spun around, ready to defend herself if needed. She had been about to blow them back away from her with a psychic blast, but the person she saw was Che Presidiomini. She didn't know him all that well, but she knew him by name from Noel.
When she heard Che's hurried explanation and request, Erin blinked startled. The sight of the woman he carried, Kate, brought Erin into a concerned and business-like mode. "Of course, I'll help." Erin replied, nodding hurriedly as she approached Che and the dying woman he carried. "What happened?" Erin asked as she studied Kate and began to gently but quickly remove the blood soaked bandages so she could examine the injuries. When she saw the wounds and noted how much blood appeared to have been lost already, Erin began to work. "How long has she been like this?" She asked Che, holding her left hand over the wound on Kate's left shoulder and the right hand over the woman's stomach. "I'm not sure how much I can heal her, but I'll do my best."
With a light sigh, Erin's reddish eyes closed to bring a calm over her as she concentrated. The young blood manipulator became quite still as her powers activated, causing a warm pinkish glow to surround her hand and the wounds Kate had. It would take a few minutes for Kate's wounds to disappear completely though. Erin knew there would be scarring and Kate would have to deal with that. But for Erin to do a decent job of it, she would need to concentrate throughout the entire healing process. Within her mind's eye, Erin could see the vessels in Kate's body pulling themselves back together as if a movie was being rewound slowly, frame by frame. What Che would be able to see was the pulsing pinkish glow as Erin worked on Kate's injuries. As time passed, the injury near the surface would slowly heal and seal itself off. It was a miracle that there was any amount of liquid blood left for Erin to actually work with.
((Kate's going to stay unconscious until my next post, Maha.))
As Thomas sent his attack, Sabrina hopped out of the way as she looked at Thomas. In her attempt to avoid some negation she was struck in her left leg as she looked at Thomas, making a kicking motion with her leg as it extended creating a torrent of magma towards him and detaching form Sabrina. Leaping back into a crack she began to flow underneath the surface of the Earth. She then emerged as large boulders of magma was sent hurdling towards Thomas. She then shaped two blades from the magma from her forarms as she charged Thomas beginning to swing her new weapons towards the Death OWL.
Aeon nodded at Cecila. As they walked into the Hospita, Aeon approached the desk. "Ma'am we have an emergency" she said to the receptionist. The large woman ignored her continuing her conversation on the phone. Aeon frowned as she began to think over Italian. Moli had taught her since they had met but this would be the first time she would attempt to speak it.
"Mi dispiace che penso che non parlano inglese, ma la signora abbiamo un'emergenza possiamo vedere un medico?" she asked in italian. The woman hung up and looked at Aeon and Cecilia. "I'm sorry ma'am but this is a HUMAN hospital" she said in English. Aeon couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Listen you bigot, I don't think you understand she's about to die...and it would be in YOUR best interest to see that she doesn't" she said as her eyes glew a little indicating that a threat was present and could be made.
The portly woman put in a call as a medical staff was rushed towards Aeon and Cecilia. She placed Cecilia on the stretcher as she looked at the people. "Take care of her and no sedatives" she said to them as she was ready to accompany Cecila. "Don't worry CeCe...I'll be here for you" she said holding the sapphire owl's hand.
The hospital, which Cecilia and Aeon had entered appeared to be your standard hospital. The waiting room was near the front. As with all waiting rooms, it had outdated gossip magazines, only they were written in Italian instead of English. There was that medicinal aroma that came with all medical locations. The temperature within the building had to be somewhere in the sixty degree range, but it was not as bad as the biting cold that was outside. Down a hallway, Cecilia glimpsed medical staff rushing in and out of rooms. The hospital was clearly quite busy on this day.
Cecilia's small exploration of the hospital was broken by Aeon's words, which were ignored by the receptionist. It would have been different if she had been immersed in a very important medical emergency phone call, but from the way she was laughing and filing her fingernails so casually, it was clear that this phone call was far from an emergency. A rather large box of donuts lay nearby. The agonized Cosmic Owl wasn't surprised at the woman's bigotry. After all, there were not many humans who supported Owls. Aeon looked at Cecilia as she threatened the portly woman who appeared to jump up afterwards and provide them with a stretcher and a medical staff.
Yet when Aeon did try to follow, the receptionist stepped between her and Cecilia. "I'm sorry, but you're going to have to wait in the waiting room. You can't come in with her," she said making her contempt for Aeon and Cecilia's kind very clear in her voice. It was then...Cecilia, who had remained very calm and patient, rounded on the receptionist. "Why don't you sit down behind your desk and eat your goddamn donuts you fat cow!" she yelled impatiently. Her outburst was followed by another stream of coughing, but as soon as it ended, she glared at the medical staff as well. They did not say anything, but merely nodded towards Aeon as a sign that she could accompany Cecilia. The Cosmic Owl was then wheeled to one of the free hospital rooms where she would be tended to.
The commander was flying above the Scene as it unfolded, carefully making his approach, then shots began to ring out.
"Sir!, shots Fired! The Unidentified Target has been shot!...Locating source of fire, requesting permission to engage"
The enraged Commander was already grabbing a rifle,"...Damn trigger happy fools!...names still have not been confirmed....they should have held fire!...wait..."The seasoned marksman spotted the shooter,"...Its...not ours...Those bastards must be getting close!....Permission?!....I got your engagement right here!" The commander looked over and threw the rifle back where it was, he looked over and took the Sniper from the soldier sitting in the seat, and put his sights on the shooter that opened fire, as the sights danced around the shooter's head, the Commander took a breath and tighten his trigger finger,"...Game Over..." he pulled the trigger and let out a sigh, looking over his sights he could see the shooter falling still. The Commander rammed the weapon back to the soldier,"...Good gun...keep it clean..." he muttered, walking towards the pilot he got back on the microphone,"...Those UNS bastards weill be here any minute!...we got to make a landing and get them the hell out of here!" He growled over the radio. As soon as he spoke those words. It began heading down towards the ground near the group.
Kojiro nodded at Serena's warning as they got closer to the fight scene, however as soon as she spoke he heard the gunshot, he looked at her as she took his hand. The stopped and he began to worry, if this was the case every second the were slowing down he could be too late, Kojiro looked at Serena, but before he could say anything, the rapid firing of a Gatling-gun could be heard, he held Serena's hand tightly. Then the sound of crumbling debris began to sound, he looked up and saw parts of the building collapsing from the machine gun fire. He did not want to make the same mistake again, and he let go of her hand, creating a dome like shield. It was cracking slightly, but it held however, he was surprised on how quick it formed, but he did not question it. He realized he lot go of Serena's hand and he gave his own appearance away, and gunfire began heading their way, the rounds hitting the shield as it began to chip away, Kojiro looked around but Serena was still invisible, he looked back at the shield and then broke it when the dust cleared, the fragments continued to float around Kojiro as he sprint into the fray, his stare was a serious glare as he fired a barrage of the fragments towards some of the UNS, talking them down, He rushed another one, a round richochet off of one of the fragments and shattered it, but missed Kojiro, he lunged towards one of the soldiers and rammed his shoulder into his chest, the fragments shuddered for a moment and then the next second all of them fired towards the stunned victim. Without wasting his momentum, in the sam motion, Kojiro turned towards the Helicopter and a spear began to form in his hand, he reared back and launched it, just as he launched it, it flashed slightly, propelling the ice faster towards the aircraft.
"Incoming fire!...Identifying....Kojiro Izayoi...Fallen Phoenix Member confirmed, Hold your fire and take evasive maneuver!...I repeat! Hold your fire!....Standby! return fire on incoming UNS soldiers!"
Kojiro was creating another spear, seeing the other one missed, however the let go and created a shield. However as he braced for the impact when he heard the gunshots, he looked behind him and noticed the UNS being torn away by the gunfire. He looked back as the Helicopter began landing, the door gunner got off and cautiously headed to Kojiro, "....You...you and your Team are being evacuated!....we need you to get on!" Kojiro looked at him and then trned back to where he saw Serena last, thinking this was one of those situations that he should not think recklessly.
(TFP - Serilda)
After taking a few miles ahead, Lorna gave an okay on her part that she was better and from the looks, she just ignored and allowed her to do what she wanted to do. Walking in the back Someone came into view and was all torn into shreds. Looking at her appearance, Serilda came over by walking a bit faster she held her arms out and caught the girl which was Claire. "Hey!?" before Serilda could reach Lorna she was gone in a flash. "That girl can move..." as she took Claire and began to put her arm over her shoulders she started off walking at her own pace.
(Soliel - Claire)
While limping from the buildings that she came into contact, she found herself feeling a bit tired. She could feel the energy she once possessed was gone from her, she only hand enough to keep moving but at the final moment she fell and thought she dropped to the ground, she felt someones hands catch her. Too tired to look she allowed the person and started walking along with this stranger. Taking her few steps ahead she started to fall a bit but struggled to get up. "Man....I...Hate this" taking a few breaths "Being...so...weak"
((NPC - Myra Bagarth aka Bloody Myra))
Meanwhile back in Japan in the not so humble and quite lavish estate of the one and only king of the underworld was a golden haired woman with reddish tinted eyes who was fuming slightly. Her hands were clenched in fists on the table in the kitchen. Seeeebbbby! You should have gone yourself! All because of you, my beautiful clothes and self was scratched by rose bushes! You never told me there would be rose bushes! Scratched by rose bushes was an understatement. The woman who had gone to pick up Erin and Freya had literally been hugged by rose bushes thanks to the little Freya, who had control over rose bushes. And now, she was trying to get away from that little girl, who seemed to be attached to her. Myra was not a happy woman, and that meant violence.
A quick fist tore away the dark visor of the UNS member as if it were just darkened papier-mache. Before the man could even fall backwards in unrelenting pain, a hand took his collar and brought him to his feet again so that he could receive another direct strike. The UNS member was sent hurtling through his partners who stood idly behind him. They had records on Moli, but none of them covered his sheer speed and agility. As far as they knew, he was still just a walking nuclear bomb. They had no idea that now, the Presidiomni was a light man.
The blonde, converted himself into photons and shot through the chest of one of the agents he noticed. The person was aiming a gun at him and Moli, liking his powers too much, wasn't prepared to have them drained by such means. Effectively, it dropped the shooter, but it didn't kill him. Before he could react any further, the butt of a rifle was being shoved into his face. The pre-Herald diverted it with a simple left-handed wave and countered with his right elbow. To take out a female agent behind him, he rolled with his momentum and delivered unto her cheek a fierce backhand that cause her to spin once before falling. "Haha! ******** you!" exclaimed the blue-eyed fighter. As long as these guys were fighting like how they were, then this would be a piece of cake. Of course, after a moment of losing, they knew different measures had to be taken. In came about three Owls. Moli wasn't like Lucien or his father, so he couldn't tell their abilities from just looks. Hell, the three men wore the same thing. A dark vest, black pants, boots and a helmet that blocked out telepathic abilities. Accepting the challenge with a shrug, Moli squared himself with the three as the others seemed to back away forming a schoolyard circle the four would fight in.
Timothy wasn't a holy man so him crashing through the wall opposite the hole that Will made didn't make him feel any worse than he already did. Of course the Satan Owl had to burn objects holding the bibles in the damned building. Timothy knew of his weakness, but only until he saw the dark ashes covering the dark red floor did he realize what Will had actually done. It didn't matter at all though because The Spectral Owl had his own plan running. If he couldn't get to Che, then he'd just send someone that could. Already, he'd contacted Noah to arrive, but Will didn't need to know that. As long as Satan thought that he was getting somewhere, that was fine by Tim.
"You must really want that Che kid to live Will. It's unlike you to care." Timothy said after bursting through the local church's wall. His hands carried around them rotating charges of electricity. A lone mosquito that was unfortunate to draw near was burned before it even reached the Herald's tightly curled, electrically charged fist. As it's body was shocked to mere ashes, Timothy smiled. Soon, that would be Will. Rather than approach him again, the silver haired man opted to fire off a beam of electricity at the Satan Owl. He didn't plan on hitting him, although if he did, the childish smirk on his face would simply grow. He wanted to clash with him and lock him in that spot until Noah did away with Che and his dying little girlfriend. "A bit of prayer might help you through this day DeScythe! You're in the right place to do it!"
~~~
Soliel looked over his shoulder at Raven as she and Lorna had their exchange. The man remained silent beneath the electric shield. He already knew how fate would deal with this. Raven, like Lorna said was meant to be killed by Raven. It was her fight and being a man of honor, Soliel didn't dare snatch the opportunity away. To provide outside offense, Soliel melted the ground he stood on away and traveled beneath the shield to the outside. These were bullets they were firing and not that green, ability stopping liquid. Apparently, they thought bigger shells would work on an electric shield. Soliel could only laugh for these humans knew nothing at all.
From the buildings on which they stood arose giant magnificent columns of magma that swept most of them away. Their bodies were burned to cinders, but some Owls and humans who either could withstand the heat or had suits to do so lived. This only frustrated the Magma Owl. Looking over his shoulder as bullet after bullet tore away his shirt but not himself, he yelled out to Lorna and Raven, "Get on the helicopter! I'll catch up! Quickly!"
~~~
Che's joy when Erin agreed to assist him in this time of need was immeasurable. Once again, he didn't know the girl besides what was told to him years ago at the UNS stations he would regularly patrol. She didn't seem like a hostile person, however, if she were, Che would've forced her into helping him. There wasn't a need for violence, so calmly, the Mastering Owl sighed. All the while Erin performed her task on the woman dying in his arms, he couldn't help but wonder why he'd never met her. Probably because getting near the Night Owls would involve getting into a lecture with the almighty God Owl Noel. Once the bandages Che had crafted were removed, Kate was laid down between the two of them so that Erin could freely inspect and heal the woman.
"What happened? Don't worry about what happened. All you need to know is that she's been like this for maybe an hour and she needs help..." Che somewhat barked at the healer. After listening to his tone, even he had to admit that had gotten more than snippy with the girl. He still blamed himself for what happened as well and as long as that chew at his conscious, moments like that would continue to follow. After biting at his lip, Che knelt to Kate's side and spoke, "Alright, sorry about that...Erin right? I gave a bad order is what happened. I accidentally sent Kate into a brigade sent by ******** Thomas....I swear that guy...." The italian had to calm himself for this moment. With more effort than what should've been needed, he did and continued to speak. "Anything will do Erin. Any help you can give will do. I promise that one of these days, I'll pay you back alright? We Italian are good for our word."
~~~
Roulin's soulless eyes stared blank beams into the grey skies above. The lower right side of his throat was still leaking massive amounts of blood and so was obliterated his right hand. Both of the wounds had been brought on two precise sniper shots and behind them, they left a mangled mess of skin, nerves, cartilage and muscle. The Owl, even with his healing power, was still in pain unimaginable. Both shells had passed through his lean body, but the points that were struck were already bruised, fatigued and sore from his fight before. The sensation of just lying there as his own body kept him on the brink of death was unlike anything else. The stare in his eyes and the wondering expression on his face didn't signal death. Instead, it signaled a state of conscious unconsciousness that only one could attained when blinded and paralyzed by excruciating pain. His proof of life was shown when his eyes drifted to his wrist after Raven checked it for a pulse. Throughout her words, he wished he could reply with either a quirky comment, or a cocksure statement about how guns were for the weak or something of the sort.. Alas, he could not. His pulse, his hampered breathing and his occasional cough would have to suffice as a response.
The sounds of gunfire, Lorna's voice, Raven's voice, Soliel's battle statements and the deep beatings of propeller blades filled his ears. He couldn't express his dissatisfaction for the moment, but through a gripping of the ground beneath his left hand, he expressed that the ringings were only incrementing his already pounding headache. "...." The downed Owl's lips parted, but all the exited through the bloodstained folds was an exhale. It was meant to be a curse...a damnation for each UNS agent there. Once again, the moment that may have decided the fate of the world was ruined by them. As if to apologize for it all, the Italian's dark purple eyes drifted to Raven's and held themselves there. "..." As his anger for each of the agents there grew, his nails dug deeper into that silver sand that was once part of the peaceful cobble streets of Rome.

((UNS - Will))
It wasn't much later at all when the Lightning Herald crashed through the wall of the church making his own imprint hole to show off his aiming skills....that hole seemed to get bigger though as more pieces kept crumbling. Apparently, coordination wasn't just the issue there. The Satan Owl looked at the leader of the Heralds and simply smiled, ignoring the fact that things also crashed and burned around the Heralds...like a lone mosquito. While Timothy killed mosquitoes, Will chose to kill planets and their occupants if he was in the mood. Currently, that was something to wonder.
The Satan Owl didn't move toward Tim and instead dodged the beam. Tim hadn't moved toward him either. Who was delaying who now? The blonde devil's ears perked as he dodged by ducking...once again by the altar. There was a whimper. Someone was hiding behind the second altar, and Will could see the culprit. He knew the man, and the man owed him. That was how deals went... Softly in the background, there was frantic whispering. " Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done..."
"Unlike me to care? Who said I cared? He's only my student, and you're only a disobedient child who won't let go of the past." He tossed a couple of orbs nonchalantly at Tim. "God never was that helpful," William DeScythe remarked with a chiding tone. "To think I taught her skills that she never used. What a waste. And you, you had so much potential." Even in death, Noel wouldn't be left in peace by her counterpart. The Owl laughed and took a step back behind the altar to peek at the man behind the altar.
It was the pastor of the church. The pastor who was hugging a Bible and had an Afro, which was rather rare in the country. To top it off, there seemed to be a tiny lady in his hair rolling around, or maybe it was the wind and energy fluctuations caused by the situation. The pastor was an Italian middle aged man crouching on the floor and hugging a Bible to his chest. He was reciting the Lord's Prayer or finishing it. "... forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation..." His eyes widened when he saw Will. His words quicken noticeably as he begun to speed through the prayers. "...but deliver us from evil... Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...."
The Satan Owl smirked. "I think it's time you paid your debt to me," he hissed. His face was partially behind the altar as he mouthed the words, "Burn the Bibles..." Ah, my dear Keres... I found a debtor...and he will burn these Bibles or you will have your fun with him. He straightened himself and looked at Tim with an innocent smile.
"... I will fear no evil: For thou art with me..."

Bailey's vectors propelled her through the broken streets of what was once one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. The destruction had left the once proud city in ruins. Even though the gravity had returned to its normal state, they had another thing to worry about and that was the UNS. Knowing that she could not fight all of them at the same time, Bailey ran. Shots were fired narrowly missing the Diclonious Owl. Her vectors had extended from her back and were doing their best to deflect some of the small missiles, which could cause so much damage despite their diminitive size. As Bailey ran, she failed to see the massive crack in the road. Catching her foot upon it, she fell and landed upon her chest and torso. She had hit her face on the concrete busting her nose and her lip causing deep crimson blood to seep out the two tiny injuries.
Shaking off the soreness that she felt, Bailey began to stand up, but before she could, another shot was fired towards her neck. But instead of striking her flesh, it struck the collar. Because the collar was made of an almost bulletproof material, it did not break, but the force from the bullet caused it to crack. It began to spark causing Bailey to wince as the small bits of electricity shocked her leaving small streaked burnmarks on the flesh of her neck. But that wasn't the least of her worries. Because the collar had shorted out, her vectors were no longer under its control. Sensing this, Bailey's vectors shot forth with full force despite Bailey's pleas. All six of them extended with great lengths, charging through buildings that were still standing and destroying them completely in just one swipe. Unsuspecting citizens met their ends as well as the vectors did not stop. Organ, bones, and skin were ripped from their bodies, man, woman, and child alike were not spared.
"No! Stop!" Bailey screamed pleaded at her vectors as she stood, but they did not appear to be listening to her. The long ethereal arms began destroying the streets, driving forcefully through the concrete. Bailey struggled and struggled. No! This couldn't be happening again! Was the past really repeating itself? Would she once again become a murderer? A monster? Bailey had no place to conceal herself. If she did, she would have hidden there and allowed the vectors to take out their anger on her. They were angry for being kept under control. This was their revenge and she couldn't stop them. She could do nothing. If they wanted to, her own powers could end up killing not only everyone around her, but her as well.

((TFP---Raven))
Raven’s eyes narrowed when the sound of helicopter blades grew louder. At first she was hesitant as to whether or not she should trust these new comers. Could they really afford to hop onto a stranger’s helicopter? But, if it would ensure her teams safety…perhaps it is worth the huge risk. It seemed Soliel and Serena was game for taking up the offer for they had already expressed their opinion. “Ok…let’s get going..” She finally muttered. Before Serena had come over to help her back up onto her feet, Raven’s icy gaze had turned towards the Life Owl besides her. She let out an irritated sigh as her mind began debating the pros and cons of helping the Italian out. “He has done the same for you…” She found herself thinking much to her annoyance. In any other circumstance it would have been only too easy for Raven to up and leave him amongst the rubble and glass. Yet, here and now she was struggling. Her internal fight was only made all the more harder when Roulin’s gaze drifted to hers.
For what seemed like an age, Raven kept her eyes on Roulin’s. She found it rather annoying seeing him in his current state of health, even more so when she knew it had been the result of a sniper. His listless stare was really tugging at the strings of Raven’s long lost heart, Catherine’s long lost heart. Back in her early years she would have helped anyone who held out their hand. Now it was just a select few. Today however, her hand was reaching out to one other…“Damn it…” Finally, Raven nodded slowly. “Only this once…” She whispered so no other soul could hear her words “After this…things will be back to normal…This is the last time I help you…”
It was in that moment that the Vanishing Owl appeared at her side and aided her onto her feet. Raven did not budge when Serena stepped forwards. Instead her attention was directed towards Soliel’s back “Soliel, get this guy on the helicopter as well.” She spared Roulin’s bleeding form one last glance “He is coming back with us. Back to New Exire. From there we can take things as they come.” With her part said and done, Raven allowed Serena to guide her towards the helicopter. Albeit she was still in a lot of pain, the expression on her face as she kept up with Serena’s pace indicated to this. Her thoughts returned to what had transpired that day. Perhaps like Roulin, she will live to regret helping him out. Again…she will simply take it as it comes, whatever the outcome.
((TFP---Serena))
Serena watched with a bemused smile as Kojiro began to launch an attack towards those who had been firing towards the Fallen Phoenix’s “Ah, that’s more like it…” Her attention flickered towards the group of Owls; Raven was sitting upright looking worse for wear, close by lay a guy who seemed to be either dead or close to it. Lorna was standing in front of them with the Magma Owl next to her. “I guess I should do something..” The white haired Vanishing Owl made her way towards the others just in time to catch the words that the door gunner had yelled out. “Who are these people?!” She caught Kojiro’s unsure gaze and merely shrugged her shoulders. “You heard the man. I doubt they will try anything funny...if they do…well, they will be killed.”
Soliel had just given his opinion on the matter for he had just yelled to Lorna and Raven to get onto the helicopter as well, which meant that he probably did not see the helicopter guys as a threat. Dropping the invisibility act, Serena crouched down besides the fallen leader. “Come on…on your feet…” She draped one of Raven’s arms around her shoulders and carefully lifted the blonde female onto her feet. “Kojiro! On the helicopter, let’s get out of this hell hole…” As Serena placed one foot forward she became aware that Raven was not budging. “What---“ The Fallen Phoenix leader was staring down at the semi dead guy…and then Serena became aware of what the French woman was going to say…
