i'm a lil stuck actually... she's not turning out any of the ways i planned... but if i can get a decent pose i can import her and make her a paperdoll base then do any clothing i need/ want so fari'm stuck a lil on the hands and feet... the more processes i see the easier it is for my brain to accept the mechanics and i've been looking at your steps and other tutorials..

hm hm, I should have a hands tutorial in a magazine somewhere... Let me see if someone has it online somewhere. EDIT: Hm, not that I can see online. I can't show out online because I don't have any large step-by-step images for hands, but you can represent hands the same way as anything else in the body: with wire-like bone lines and balls for joints, then draw ovals around them to represent the pieces. The hardest part is often that there's a little empty ball kind of in the heel of the hand beside the thumb. I'll go see if I can search them out and grab good pictures by my webcam...

Pretty nifty~ I'd help you more with hands, but I don't draw hands the way I draw bodies, so it'd seem odd. ^^; But I have a tutorial about in my room somewhere, but I don't have a scanner. I also don't have a camera anymore, I need to buy one before the con in February... I can try my webcam, but I don't know what the quality of that will be, soo, yeah. ^^;

My best investment EVER was my tablet. Once I had it, I figured out I could lay my drawings over it and trace them to put them into the computer. So, I didn't even need a scanner. And I do most of my work just straight up digitally anymore, anyway. Nature of my major, though. Mostly computer work.

Oh! And as for hair, the best thing I can tell you is to first lay out a nice, solid outline. Then go back in and vary the weight/thickness/darkness of your lines to create the way you want the strands to appear to be laying. It's the easiest and most comprehensive way I can explain hair drawing. ^^;

i know how i want it to look... it'll just take me a bit to get into a good going on drawing... once i get the body pretty regular and right looking it will move to parts... i.e, hands and feet.. then hair is next.. faces i can do well enough.. and can always tweak once in comp
