I'm not mean enough to keep her own baby from her forever. After all, she was the one who went through the pain of child birth. I merely had to sit through the pain of having damaged ear-drums. x3

There are more reasons than this mere situation that I do not exactly wish to foreclose. But, you're right; I agree completely.
One reason I don't mind sharing is the fact that from now on, with the work I'm doing; I would never be home. I would be off to different providences and countries almost all the time, that isn't fair. She's already lost one parent, I wouldn't be able to bear it to be gone for such a time.

Well we don't know the full story, so I can't judge which move is wiser, so I will refrain from commenting much. I've learned that different relationships and situation can often seem much different from an outsider's point of view, as those are quick to judge by first impression and are very partial. There are probably things undreneath the cover we have no idea about.
