I kinda never got why having such a cast of characters in the Sonic series was such a bad thing.
To be honest, I like the variety.

Regulust WTF an acheievement worth 1 G? I know that Half-life 2 has a 2 point and 3 point achievement, but I have never heard of a 1 point one.

Hero Maul Regulust WTF an acheievement worth 1 G? I know that Half-life 2 has a 2 point and 3 point achievement, but I have never heard of a 1 point one.
Borderlands has a 1 point and a 49 point one.

Mighty the Armadillo one can understand; he was essentially a red Sonic. But then there's a character like Bean the Dynamite. They certainly could have done more, what with his expertise in all things explosive.
And Nack the Weasel as well! The first Sonic character to actually use a firearm; albeit a popgun. Was gonna be a silver magnum, but they didn;t want to cross the line.
