	I don't understand how it's taking the Dining staff 2 hours to deliver meals. It's really not that complicated. Probably the most complicated aspect is remembering what drinks everyone is requesting for. Otherwise it's simply - hot plate or sandwich. I'm able to do temps on my own in an hour. They have 4-5 people helping. So... what the hell is taking them so long?!

	Good morning-almost-afternoon everyone! After this weekend being quite busy - just because residents are allowed back out of their rooms again and they are being quite sociable with their needs sweatdrop , I'm looking forward to getting off.

	I think I had pulled a muscle in my shoulder on Thursday when messing with the boxes of archived paperwork. Definitely made it hard to turn to look a certain direction or put any pressure on it. Thankfully it's feeling much better today so far. And haven't found myself do a "ghost sling" with my arm anymore, so... yay!

	I put in my resignation letter with the theater last Sunday. Between not knowing when the theater will ever open ((and if I would even get any shifts upon the initial opening)) and gaining new hours at the assisted living, I decided to just take advantage of the circumstances and part ways. One of the few blessings this year has brought me - a way of separating from the theater without feeling guilty about leaving the others behind and realizing how little the earnings I was making from that job affected my income. And essentially I'll be making the same amount with my new day at the assisted living as I was at the theater for a couple days per week at the theater.

	I also decided to stop filing UI claims as well since I noticed that anytime I worked a bit extra at the assisted living, it affected how much I was getting from UI (which isn't really that much). So if just a half hour or hour here and there affected it that much, what would a full day's worth of new earning do? Plus I would be getting more from the new hours at work than UI, so... yeah.

	2020 may not be the best year overall due to COVID affecting everything... but at least there are a few blessings I can thank this year for. Once I made the decision to resign from the theater and stop doing UI claims, I felt this large weight lift from shoulders. I don't feel as stressed about the whole thing. And no longer feel like I'm constantly waiting for some definitive indication on when something will occur. Plus I'm finally doing what I said I wanted to - go down to just the one job.

	I must admit I never imagined I would ever go into the mental health field essentially... but the people at the assisted living, both staff and residents, are absolutely fantastic. Even during stressful times, I always feel happy about returning the next time around. I lost that feeling with the theater. The only time I felt happy going there was typically on my days off when I went to see movies. sweatdrop
