[ whee True that, but this ain't no simple roleplay, now is it? razz ]
Vence nodded.
"Of course, I suppose rest would do me well just as much." Now she mentioned it, as exciting the past few minutes were, it was getting late, and the twin moons were rising from the east.
"Perhaps not so much travelling, but maybe some fun can be worked out," he added, smiling. He made a move to work around Mayloo, still holding her, and made a motion toward the small ship's hold.
"After you?"

((well of course not, your here. Duh))
She suddenly became a tad radiate. "Fun? Really?" An extra skip was added to her step as she happily took Vence's hand before he instead indicated to her the place she was to descend within. "As long as I'm not venturing alone" And down she climbed, occasionally looking up to make sure he was coming as well. Secretly, she kinda had a fear of being in here now. The space was more limited then outside and partially surrounded by millions upon millions gallons of water. "Uh..." Her lips parted in nothing more to say but instead no complaints as she awaited before moving on to bed.

"Now, why would I leave you on your own, in a place like this?" Vence asked casually, waving a hand around him as he followed her. She made as if to speak, but fell silent instead. What it was she had hoped to bring up, he did not know, but he wasn't going to inquire about it; If she wished to tell, she would.
The quick descent ended without incident, leaving the two of them in a short hall with a few doors on either side. The captains quarters and the ship's workers were above, while passengers were here; further down was any cargo that was carried along. Each door was cleverly made with an ingenius invention. If one were inhabiting the room, he(orshe) needed only to slide a piec of wood from the inside of the door. On the outise, it was colored with red or green paint, indicating whether the room was taken or not. Whoever had thought up the idea was a genius, in Vence's opinion.
There were a few doors that suggested the rooms vacant, and he glanced at each momentarily before looking toward Mayloo.
"Your choice, or would you allow me?" he asked, smiling.

Mayloo became alittle more incandescent when he fell right besides her once more in the same considerate words he so caringly (new word? heh )spoke. Her face was hovering behind his shoulder like an attempt to hide while looking around the limited space. The air felt like it was beginning to choke up on her. "I t-trust you" By this he can lead them in to which ever one instead of her having to fall stray momentarily to pick one.

Vence nodded in response ot her words, an eyebrow raised and a small smile on his face. He might have guessed now what seemed to be troubling her. At the moment, he said nothing however, but took her hand and lead her, rather gently, to the closest green-paint-door. Just to be sure, he rapped on the door twice; sometimes people forgot about sill things. When no noise came in response, he turned the knob and swung the door inward.
Claustrophobic a bit, I suppose. Good thing I chose this room; quick access to above.
"Ladies first," Vence said, still holding the door open. He glanced inside, taking a look at the small room for the first time. Despite bieng on a cargo ship, the accomodations were rather well made. Two beds on either wall, both made, a corner table with two chairs, four gas lamps paired up, again on either wall, a washbasin with a washcloth and small towel, topped off with a simple yet stylish rug on the floor. All the furniture was bolted to the floor, with the exception being the two chairs, which instead were "part" of the floor; able to slide on a track as convenient.
Vence grinned, and with a small wave of his hand, the lamps all came on at once, lighting the room.
"Whoever ownes this little boat certainly took to making it comfortable," he commented, not really directed to Mayloo; just throwing it out for whatever reason.

She smiled as he lead her along and choose a pretty colored door, though it might've looked better in sun light which was impossible below here. Oh well. He went to venture a quick look around before allowing her entrance first.
"Why thank you" Mayloo went in and looked about the dim place. "I can't really..." Suddenly she jumped when the lights were lit. Obviously Vence's doing being a fire wielder and all. "Well you seem to have a swift hand" He wasn't even fully in the room yet and already making a difference.
Back to what he said though, which she FINALLY processed after giving it a good once over. "It is quite nice." Skipping back up to Vence, she took his hand happily and dragged him in fully before letting it go and stretching. "You made a really good choice"
And of course before she could think about sleeping just yet, she went over to the basin to clean her face before sprinkling water from cupped hands over her hair. "Hm Hm Hm" Humming alittle to herself, Mayloo used the small towel to give her hair a good tossel to dry. "Now I'm ready!" And hopping around alittle with her own found energy, she flopped onto the nearest bed to kick her feet.

Vence smiled when she complimented on his choice. Not that there wasn't any other choice except for location; he guessed they all looked the same, or similar at least. He wasn't too concerned about it, all the same. As Mayloo took his hand and led him into the room, he nodded and said, "Thanks, I tend to be good at making choices." Unfortunately, he couldn't help let slide another comment as well.
"I mean, I chose to stick with you, now look where we are." Stupid comment, Vence said to himself, but he ignored the thought.
As she sat down on one of the beds, he led himself to the only other free bed and leaned back to the wall, his hands preventing his head and the wall from touching as he placed them behind him.

Mayloo had been listening to him before having settled down a tad but then it was right back up on her feet to pace alittle before sitting right back down on her bed. "I'm gonna go get my night clothes" Back up on her feet to venture out the door she went. Of course being alone made her cautiously walk the hall but when she arrived to where their belonging had been stored, she went ahead and grabbed whatever while slinging everything else on her back. Thank goodness it wasn't that much.
Stumbling around at the door, it was managed to be both open and closed. "I hope you don't mind..." Dropping everything gently in the space between their beds, she went ahead and rumaged through her bag to withdraw her clothes. "Um...Can you close your eyes please?" She asked of him nicely before wondering whether it'd be an inconvenient or not. "If you do, just don't go to sleep yet" Looking at the ground, Mayloo was already blushing enough, but when looking at him to ask, the blush deepened and she looked away.
Aside from the creepy boat and having to change, she was nervously trying to build her way up to possibly giving him a kiss goodnight. Now that the feelings were out there, she wasn't entirely sure on how to work them.

Vence nodded and said "OK" as Mayloo left to fetch her clothes. What he didn't expect was 3 minutes later coming back with all their possessions. The sight was somewhat humorous, and he emmediately stood up to attempt to help her unload, but befor he could really do anything she had already laid it accross the middle of the room, and was rummaging through her own stuff. Shrugging, he claimed what was his and stashed it under the bed.
"Why would I mind," he added to her words. He needed his stuff anyway. he opened one of the pockets and took out a small box, opening it to take out a deck of cards. When next Mayloo spoke, she asked if he would close his eyes. He smiled.
"If I do? What, you expect me to watch like it's a play? He chuckled as he shifted himself crosslegged on his bed, and turned himself around, still holding the deck. "How 'bout I just turn around?" While she did her thing, he shuffled through the deck, glancing at each card as he did so, muttering under his breath the name of each.

She couldn't help but stick her tongue out at him for a moment and awaited him to then turn around instead. "Well then I suppose that's ok too" Mayloo kept to her side while stripping down and changing into her usual comfy sleep clothes and once she was down, she didn't feel like telling him but instead crawl up behind him on his bed.
Before any objections or surprise, her hands wrapped around him in a hug. "Nighty night then" And although it was like a goodbye, Mayloo began brushing his hair. It might've been somewhat peculiar but she enjoyed brushing his hair while Vence focused on some cards. It was her way of staying calm till sleep allowed her to go no further.

Vence was content to shuffle his cards absent-mindedly as Mayloo changed. Despite the outward pretense that he was perfectly at ease, however, he was slightly nervous, and honestly, a little curious too. He knew he might have been wrong to think such thoughts, but it wasn't like he could help it though. Damn, one day my youth will get the better of me. And I thought I knew better. Despite the urge to steal a glance, he continued to distract himself with the cards he held. It helped him take his mind off things, as well as entertain him.
Vence had just whispered the name "Balefire" when He felt Mayloo's arms wrap around him in an embrace. He stopped his fiddling, the face of the card still showing a detailed picture of a white violent flame, not so much focused on the cards anymore as what was at hand. She spoke then, bringing her hands up to play around with his hair. He felt himself shiver only slightly; the feeling was so strange. he glanced over his shoulder, which very nearly resulted in the two of them touching noses.
So close, was what first came to mind. He smiled. But...not quite close enough.

Mayloo smiled drowsily and within one blink, found Vence right before her with their noses in contact. Her eyes widened alittle as her thinking began processing past the slight shaking she did. "H-hi again" The brush holding hand fell to the bed to give her a 'footing' while the other one holding his hair slid around his neck.
With a quick glance down, she closed her eyes again and pursued him. At first her lips barely touched upon his as she had a nervous giggle spill for a sec before she finally embraced him once more. He had to be asking for it, just...pulling her in unintentionally, or, she could be good at reading minds.

Vence could feel his mind go blank even before the two of them came together, and the first thing that he felt was a surge of energy, which he swore was addictive. His hands found their way around Mayloo and he gently pressed her against him; He certainly did not want this to end.

(( Hehehe ninja ))
She seemed to loose her breath within seconds of the kiss and her supporting arm was giving way, but luckily Vence had her pressed to him. Xaio couldn't help but break away for just a moment to brush lips before going back in for further kissing. Both of her arms hung around his neck for support while the moment prolonged. For a first, he certainly wasn't disappointing.

[Not disappointing, cuz' he's good like that. xd ]
Vence would have loved to keep this up forever, but unfortunately, all things had an end. What seemed like hours went by(even though he knew it'd only been a few minutes) before he broke away, hesitating momentarily as their lips still touched, feeling the fire inside that seemed to burn through him die. At the moment, he still refused to let go though.
He had nothing else to look at but Mayloo's eyes, and he smiled to her. It was funny, how only a few hours ago they were just travelling partners. By some unspoken word, they had created some bond, first of friendship, which had grown to what he supposed as love. One might have assumed it was just childish passions, but he would beg to differ.
"Wow," was all he managed to whisper for a few seconds, trying to get thoughts straight. He tried unsuccessfully.
