"I think you need it more than I do. And besides, I'm not that hungry right now," he said. He rubbed his chest where she punched him, acting like that had hurt.❞

He knew she was hungry, but if she was going to be polite about it and not eat if front of him if he wasn't, then he would let her eat alone.❞

Go away. Why are you bothering me? ☠Ȼhaos☠ ❝Chaos walked outside, leaving the door open. He was sitting under the awning so the sunlight wasn't on him. He watched the slight breeze ruffle the leaves of the trees. He stood up and made his way to the woods, using their leaves to block the sun. He hadn't been out this far willingly in quite some time. He saw things running through the trees and across the ground all around him. He knelt down on the ground and a squirrel, hesitatingly, ran up to him. He held his hand out to it and it sniffed his hand, as if looking for food. It hopped up on his hand and he stood. The squirrel, relieved that he wasn't going to hurt it, ran up his arm and onto his head, looking around. Chaos wondered briefly where Shade was, but pushed the thought out of his head. Shade always came back. Chaos continued walking through the trees, not going too far. His hand went to his neck, remembering the one and only time that he'd tried to get past his limit. The squirrel hopped off his head and onto a tree, where it proceeded to run off and disappear.❞

Go away. Why are you bothering me? ☠Ȼhaos☠ ❝Chaos, too far into the forest, didn't hear her calling for him. He continued walking. He wasn't sure how long he'd been walking by now, so he didn't know how far he'd walked or how much allowed space was left. As he was walking, he started to feel strange. He ignored it and kept walking. Suddenly, he hit the invisible wall that was his barrier and he could feel strong, invisible hands squeezing his neck. He fell to his knees and grabbed his neck, trying to breathe. He fell back and slid back as best he could, not caring that the ground was wet. The strangling feeling let up and he took several deep breaths. He glared at the invisible barrier. Still strong as ever. He sat on the ground a moment more, not feeling the water soak into his pants. He sighed and stood up, turning away from the barrier and heading back to the mansion, hands in his pockets. He didn't notice the mud on his jeans or that the seat of them was soaked through.❞

It wasn't till he was in front of the steps that he realised that Setsuko was there. Had she been waiting for him? He didn't say anything. He stopped under the awning and looked down at her.❞
