All this trying to catch dust bunnies was working up a thirst. He wanted a DRANK right about now. So much water and nothing to DRANK. The demon didn't even mean to catch his second bunny. It hopped in with the first.

And before Charlie could think of where he'd find his next victim the third went ahead and hopped in his jar.

Well well that had been easy enough. The demon smiled at the contents of his jar. The bunnies didn't smile back.

Maybe he could get a DRANK now. Maybe.

Johan lifted the glass jar up to peer in at its two dusty occupants. The other students had been darting about, grabbing bunnies left and right. The number of fuzzy, allergy irritants was decreasing, though there was one inspecting his notebook on the vacated desk. The toad/lizard thing, seeing something much more interesting than water droplets, was wildly rocking its jar in an attempt to reach the bunny.

Johan ran over and caught the jar just before it tipped over the edge, and crammed it back into his robe. Then he made a grab for the bunny on the desk.

Johan blinked. He was sure he'd just tried to grab the bunny, but it was still calmly perusing his notes. He tried again, pale fingers darting out. There was a blur, almost too quick for the eye, and again the bunny was just calmly sitting there. White eyebrows furrowing, Johan tried again! And again! And again! Until he was practically just slapping at his desk, but each time, the little poof with ears zipped out of the way, and returned to reading.

Dust bunny ninja.

Biting his lower lip, Johan straightened, and studied the little creature. Linty coat, long, fuzzy ears, lambent yellow eyes, and... was that a smirk?!

Johan's eyes practically turned red, as he slashed a rune across the desk. The magic set in like a gunshot, freezing everything on the desk, including the bunny. With a triumphant 'HA!', Johan grabbed the aggravating creature and stuffed it into the jar... with the lizard thing.

Oh. Johan rummaged in his robe, and pulled out the jar with two dust bunnies blinking out at him. He looked back at the other jar. Well, hopefully dust wouldn't hurt the lizard things' digestive system.

Well it seemed most of the students had completed the task no problem collecting three total dust bunnies. Savage gestured for the students to return to their seats and for trollapus to let Danny go. Trollapus let the fire demon down gently and disappeared in the pool with a big splash. The trap door closed shortly after the trollapus was submerged.

“Well well well. Good job students good job.” Savage brought out a little whistle from between her breasts and blew on it. The remaining unjarred stray dust bunnies returned under the bed no problem. Wait. Couldn’t Savage had just done that to begin with rather than torture her class? Probably. But where would the fun be if Savage had done that?

“Very very well done students. I think we can move on now.” Savage tucked her whistle back between where they came from. “Now you all are probably wondering why in jack its important to know whats under a bed? Well its simple, friends. Under beds in the human realm are ripe with fear and thus ripe places for portals for our kind. If your not aware WHAT your going to run in then your useless and should just give up on everything right now. But no, you all decided to come to class. GOOD FOR YOU!” She pointed to the class with a cheeky grin.

“But it is very important to be AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS! Beds are not just limited to bed rooms. Beds can be in hospitals too where you pop up or hotels or even…. CRUISE SHIPS!!!” For a just a moment there where sparkles in Savages eyes as she mentioned ships.

“I wanted you to catch dust bunnies to study them. I’m breaking the class up in groups so you all can study your … goods… together. I want you to turn in your findings. This is important to understanding under the bed.”

To see everyone still struggling with the dustbunnies was almost a relief for Pepin. She'd strut her stuff for her favorite professor (so far) and as long as she didn't appear to be a complete failure she could continue to take Savage's classes shamelessly.

A portal to the human world from under the bed? Maybe, it would certainly be plausible if it were a bed on the interweb and Pepin somehow discovered the right code of numbers, but that was sort of preposterous. She knew that real beds held more magical properties than virtual ones. Alas, she couldn't help but wonder and wonder curiously.

"Riyo?" Pepin's voice chimed. She hadn't met the ghoul yet, and definitely didn't notice her during the dust bunny rampage when she was scrambling just to stay standing. "Oh Riyo, Oh Riyo?" she scanned the room, nearly standing in her seat now that the class was pretty much dismissed. She almost knocked over her jars but managed to catch them and keep them squished against her chest, a delight for the dust bunnies no doubt.

Hearing Savage call for the class to stop, Jericho looked up towards the Professor, listening. Portals under the bed? Well that seemed to be pretty damn handy. However, he did have to wonder how to access a lot of these portals. It was something to think about.

Oh.. and there went the boat reference. He supposed it was too much to go through a class with Savage without them being mentioned at least once.

Once the groups were announced, he tilted his head as he wasn't quite certain who Elsa was. He looked on around, trying to figure out who this student was.

"uh... Elsa?"

Shun didn't really lift his head up as the class was called to an end. Ah, so the beds held portals to the human world. If that were the case, he supposed this could come in handy for future reaping possibilities. People did die in their sleep and all, as far as he figured.

Hearing that he was to team up with Roch, he glanced over at the other Reaper impassively. Well, it would do he supposed. It wasn't as if they'd really have to do much writing... it was just taking care of and studying the stupid dust bunny thing right?

Christof tapped at his jar, studying his dazed and squished dust bunnies already when the professor's loud voice broke him out of his thoughts. He flinched with each raise in volume, but ultimately relaxed once it seemed class was adjourned. Partners? His heart raced... please be partners with Mistress, please be partners with Mistress- By the time he spied the list, his heart sank.

But it wasn't really that bad... He hadn't seen Mr. Johan in a long time! He turned to spy the magician with his own jar, smiling as he gave a little wave. It would be nice to catch up with a friend! He probably didn't even recognize him now...

The whistle...couldn't the professor just have done that from the start? Of course she could have--the problem was that she didn't want to. Sighing, she glanced around at her classmates--all whom who had been, like her, chasing after the dust bunnies to collect a few for their jars--and then shook her head. She supposed that that part had simply been a part of the lesson.

Whatever the case, it looked as if their captured dust bunnies were a part of their homework. Group homework, apparently. Though she couldn't help but hope that she was paired up with a friend, Xiu wasn't really disappointed when she was partnered up with a ghoul named Astra. She vaguely recalled seeing her around, and...she seemed pretty nice! Sitting up straighter, she scanned the classroom for her new partner. Perhaps they could exchange phone numbers?

Picking up her dust bunny-filled jar, she pushed her seat back and stood up. Where was she--oh! There she was! Timidly, the ghoul moved over until she was standing in front of her partner's desk. "Umm...Astra? I'm Xiu!"

Mot managed to find his desk and set it upright again, sitting down with a sigh. That was finally over, and the dust bunnies were now a....ah....aaaah

"AH-CHOO!"

Mot sniffled and settled down again after that sneeze, rubbing his eyes. Damn dust bunnies.

Not wanting to disrupt Savage, Mot kept his sniffles to a minimum, waiting for the class to be dismissed. Savage rambled on about beds and ships or whatever. Mot wrote down a couple of small notes about portals. it seemed important.

But what was this? A group project? Mot felt uncertain about this. It seemed he couldn't just do his homework on his own time, he'd have to rely on a partner.
Mot groaned to himself. Oh well.

"Merope...?" Who was that? Mot raised a brow, worriedly. How was he supposed to work with someone he didn't know?

Danny shuddered as the trollapus put her down. Her eyes were still wide with fear, and remained so for the remainder of her time in the classroom.

Something about homework? And a Hadiyya as her partner. Who was Hadiyya? It sounded vaguely familiar ... but Danny couldn't put a single trait to the ghoul.

It didn't matter. Danny was getting out of that classroom as fast as possible. She rushed to grab her scrapsack and her bunny jar. With that, she darted out the door.

She would ask around who Hadiyya was later. Her fear of Savage, the trollapus, this CLASSROOM, was too great at the moment.

Distracted by the dust flying in one jar, Johan missed Savage's words until the whistle sent the other bunnies scurrying beneath the bed. He shot the teacher an exasperated glance as he wiped down his seat. Relieved to have uncontested use of his desk once more, Johan sat, and tried not to jump at the abrupt changes in volume. What was it with this teacher and ships, anyway?

Refocusing on the task at hand, Johan took a second look at the bunnies in the jar, and quickly jotted down a note:

Eidechse Sache > Staub Kaninchen (auch wenn es ein Ninja)

The sorcerer then got up to read the group assignments, finger running down the board to his name, and then over to... Christof. Johan turned to search for the hunchback boil, and caught sight of him waving. He managed to weakly wave back, and then stumbled back to his desk to collect his things.

Hel thanked Lattice kindly when she complimented her, beaming with pride. Yes, she did catch those dust bunnies rather well, thank you! The reaper then turned her attention back to Professor Savage when she spoke up, listening to her with the utmost concentration. She took the words to heart and also appreciated how they tied in with that she learned in that make shift class room at the festival.

When told they’d be breaking off into groups, Hel looked around the room curiously, wondering who she be paired with until she saw. Oh! Junko! The reaper broke out into a wide grin, pleased that she was paired with a student she knew, and one who was rather friendly none the less! “Junko!” Hel called out, “I shall meet with you sometime after class, yes?”

Aurian was more than slightly confused. So far, Professor Savage had taught them... exactly nothing. The Reaper sighed, shoulders slumped. She shouldn't have expected anything else, really. Not after that boat ride had proved just how useless the woman was. It was such a worry that a ghoul like that was pretending to be a teacher.

Shaking her head, Aurian checked the list of groups. Just pairs, which earned a small smile. At least Aurian wouldn't have to worry about two out of three people knowing each other and her being the odd one out.

"Maritess?" she sounded out. "Maritess. Hmm."

Aurian looked around to see if anyone responded to the name. She could always chase them down later, but here might be easier. (At least she'd know what to look for in the halls.)
