I'm glad we got that one sorted, I somehow managed to post the game and forget to include the full title of the game. Took me till last night to realise my mistake and then I couldn't very well edit it at that point.

Anyway, if I get time today I've got an idea I might want to try out with this game and I'll also be posting the new game shortly.

Okay, so here is my idea. Let me know if you think it would be a positive addition to the game or just an unnecessary complication.

I want to add a achievements/power up system. By completing certain tasks (e.g. correctly guess three letters in one game) you earn an achievement. The achievements are named after Nintendo characters so for that example above you might earn Meta Knight.

Now, each achievement doubles as a helpful boost/power up. You can use up to two power ups per game (or maybe one, it will need balancing out) so the more achievements you earn the more choice you will have. Meta Knight might let you take two guesses in a single turn (once per game). Mario could increase the points you earn from your next guess.

I will post the new game up once I decide if this is a worthwhile idea. Game 20 seems like a good place to start I'd say.

I agree it is a bit much considering the game is only played by a few people but I might give it a shot anyway..got myself all excited about it now..

I'm ironing out of the kinks with that idea and the new game and it should all be online within two hours (unless something else demands my attention in the meantime).

How Bonuses work.
Bonuses are unlocked by completing achievements and come in a variety of types:

(AUTO) - Automatic bonuses take effect immediately.
(ONE TIME USE) - These bonuses require you to activate them by posting in the thread. You may only use one bonus per game. One time use bonuses can only be used once.
(ONCE PER GAME) - These bonuses require you to activate them by posting in the thread. You may only use one bonus per game. These bonuses can be used over and over again.
(PASSIVE) - Passive bonuses do not require activation and will take effect at appropriate times.

Oh my goodness. This is the first time I've seen cheevos in a game that wasn't a video game... but it's a game about video games so I guess it makes sense!
