Nord smiled in relief and nodded at Citrine, glad she didn't seem bothered by the Swinub of the Eevee, "Bill is a handful, but Eevees are pretty great," He admitted happily and stood, dusting off his clothing, "It's nice to meet you Citrine. Yes, please."

He was about to ask more about Mamoswines, since the realization that the cute little swinub would become a giant mamoswine was not..... pleasant... When something peeked out of the water. It looked faintly like a ball and almost made him yelp in surprise. "W-what the.. Oh!" Well, he had wanted to get something for Ty so this would work. Catching the Seal, he slid the pokeball into his pocket.

Abel smiled despite the brief bout of awkwardness - yep, definitely a show-off - but Taavi's suggestion brought a bright grin to his face. "Yeah, that would be cool," he agreed wholeheartedly, nodding. Ah, yeah, money would be something to consider... Not that he was about to go into detail about that, of course, so he merely refrained from mentioning it at the moment.

What? Oh yeah, sandwiches! "I almost forgot about those," the blond admitted with a sheepish grin. Man, that roast had been wonderful, both because it was delicious and because it was actually a substantial meal for once. "Sure, I could go for a sandwich right about now," he said as he gave the Lapras a final pat, then turned to open his bag and retrieve a thermos of coffee. Mmm, coffee...

Supercilious tosses away his attacker!]

Figuring Water-types would be found in water, Supercilious slipped in and swam a little way off from shore. He was just starting to wonder how goody-two-shoes Happa was doing with his partial Ice-type opponent when something bit his tail. His red eyes widened and he cried out in pain and indignation, whipping up his tail out of the water to face his assaulter. It was Carvanha!

How dare that stupid little fish think for even a moment that it could take on him? And that had been a dirty trick, striking first when his back was turned without even realizing there was to be a fight. Silly thrashed about in the water in an attempt to dislodge his new accessory. He'd only meant to get it off so that he could have a proper fight and make it wish it'd never been born a Carvanha. However, he whipped his tail so hard that the surprised fish loosened his hold and was sent flying off into deeper waters.

Silly blinked, not quite sure what had just happened. Hm. Must have not known my own strength, he thought. Or maybe the dratted thing finally realized what a mistake it made, biting me. Whatever the case, good riddance. He turned and continued deeper into the cove. From the silly sounds of triumph made from Akira's other pokemon, it sounded like they had caught their new Seel friend.

"Great!" Taavi beamed, gave the Dratini another scratched and then hurried over to where he'd left his pack. Down at the bottom was the cool bag that contained a big bottle of water and the sandwiches; once the latter were retrieved he handed one foil wrapped package to Abel and then walked towards Sasha as he opened the other. "Want to share? Um, and we really should? A music thing or something mean."

"Ooh, I brought food," Lex said, carefully sat down, balancing the Omanyte on his lap. He leaned slightly against his Flareon, warming up as the fire type flopped near him. "But thank you." He shifted his pack off a shoulder, rummaging in it. "Clementine?" He asked, offering Taavi one of the small citrus fruits.

A serene presence, slipping peacefully through the cool waters; it's a Lapras!

What was that? There! Was that a Dratini? Oh, Supercilious had always wanted to show those snobs who was the superior serpent between them. They thought they were so great just because they could evolve into Flying-types and influence the weather. Pah. Their final form wasn't even graceful or elegant! With a challenging cry, the Grass-type attempted to catch his rival's attention so they could fight.

The Dratini, frightened by the sudden angry call and extremely shy of others, made a sound of distress and quickly dove underwater, swimming away as fast as it could. It may have been a serpentine pokemon, but it knew better than to think it could take on a fully-evolved third evolution while it itself was only a first.

Well, Akira had learned pretty quickly that Seel had Ice-type moves with how fast Happa was taken down. Ūrī had managed to hold her ground and outlast the sea lion pokemon, but she was still the least experienced of his trio. Where was Silly? It wasn't like him to have wandered too far from his Luxury Ball.

Glancing about, he looked at his Swinub and smiled, reaching down to pet her. "Good girl. Let's press on. Did you see where Silly went?" He searched for the green and yellow serpent on land, not even considering that his pokemon might have entered the water. Ūrī frantically sniffed around, searching for scents of either Supercilious or some other new friend to battle with.

[Deepwater cove, Taavi and Abel, Totally keeping the Lapras!]

"I also have, hmm... smoked whitefish, multi grain crackers, sharp cheddar cheese, condiments," Lex murmured, going through the supplies in his pack. "Did you want any?" He offered a small bit of smoked fish to the Omanyte, giving a grin as it was tugged close and some to his Flareon. Not much, because of the smoke and salt.

"I think I have chocolate in here?" Maybe... he bit his lower lip in concentration as he rummaged about, pulling out a pair of water bottles and blinked. Wait...

One Lapras, Two Lapras... Three lapras?

"We found a new Lapras friend," he said softly, looking up at the crooning gentle giant.

[Deepwater Coves: Silly attacks Seel in front of his trainer to show him how it's done! And...gets beaten before the wild pokemon retreats back into the water.]

"Silly? What are you doing over there?" Akira asked when he saw the Serperior surface after his underwater chase. He had certainly shown that Dratini who was boss. But a second head bobbed up from the water at Akira's voice. Another Seel.

This was his chance! Supercilious could show Akira he could take down a pokemon that even his beloved Happa couldn't! Swerving in the water, the Serperior encircled his target with Wrap. The Seel cried out and attempted, in vain, to swim away. Silly was just pondering what the best and most impressive way would be to finish off his battle when the Ice Beam struck him. Since the source was wrapped in his coils, there was no way for him to escape in time and he took a direct hit. Worse yet, he became frozen solid.

"Silly! Oh no!" Seeing his pokemon in distress, Akira jumped into the water to fetch his frozen friend. Because, no matter how they treated each other or thought of one another, Akira still considered them to be friends. What would he do without his very first pokemon?

Akira's Swinub, on the other hand, was totally oblivious to what was happening in the water. She was very interested in these scents in this very cold place that also smelled of brine. There were others of her kind here, but also others she had never met before in the Sky Peak Ski Range. Who would she find next?
